I highly recommend this restaurant and here are 10 reasons why: 1. Excellent service from every single employee we interacted with 2. Accommodating and knowledgeable about the menu 3. Clean and fun atmosphere 4. Delicious food and made from scratch sauces and recipes - at a reasonable price 5. We were treated like VIP customers who they wanted to actually return again and again 6. It is absolutely clear the management knows what they are doing 7. It was like a gourmet restaurant experience without the price 8. The decor is a funky mix of 50s and Mexico and remarkably it works! Some restaurants try mashing up themes and they miss the mark but not Chuy's 9. Friendly and frequent check-ins from the wait staff and they always seemed appropriate rather than interruptions 10. Whatever they are doing they are doing it right Please visit this restaurant. You'll leave full and satisfied. It's Tex-Mex from Texas. It's not food you would get in Mexico. It's not that place you went to in LA that had great street tacos. It's good food, though, so relax and give it a chance. There's a wide variety of sauces (I like the Hatch Green Chile, which is hot yet very flavorful). Ask for Creamy Jalapeño sauce with your chips. And have a Margarita, they're good. The reviewers who complain about "rude wait staff" or some other deficiency in service must be Very, Very Unhappy People who would gripe about their mother's cooking to her face. Servers at Chuy's are among the most well-adjusted I've met, and their hearts swell to spread the Chuy's Love. So relax. I ate at Chuy's frequently (at least twice a month) when I lived in Houston. Did call ahead seating and got a text confirmation, when we arrived to the restaurant they had no record of our call ahead and when we showed them the text confirmation the hostess was like ya oh well I can put your name on the list now and could careless about the text confirmation I was showing her. Finally get seated and it's super crowded I felt like I had to yell for the person next to me to hear me and the tables were so small it barely fit our drinks and chips. Food finally came and everything was cold. Cold tortillas cold chicken cold beans cold rice. I admit I'm very picky with my rice but It was horrible. The chips were good though. Waitress seen I didn't even eat a quarter of my one taco and didn't even bother to ask if I enjoyed my meal or not just took away my plate. I paid $80 to have horrible service and food. I will not be returning and highly advise others to go somewhere else for better Mexican food. read more

We were staying in Westminster and wanted to go somewhere for dinner so we decided to go to Chuy's since it was near our hotel. The decor is amazing and clean. We are vegan and our server Don R. was very helpful figuring out what we could eat, my wife and I each had the bean, veggie, and rice burrito and it was amazing. The salsa's were also amazing. We've been in Colorado for 2 days now from Arizona and have been to multiple restaurants and Chuy's was by far the best customer service we received! Thanks again Don for helping us out! We have been eating here for years and it's one of our favorite restaurants. Pro tip: get the creamy jalapeno with your warm chips (the salsa is always fresh and good too). Love the homemade flour tortillas. I love all the tacos and my husband loves the cheese enchiladas with boom boom sauce. It's also very reasonably priced. The service is always great and the restaurant is always clean! Will come back many times again. read more
