Love the decor and vibe here! Staff was friendly and super efficient checking in on us frequently. We all liked the appetizer plate and of course the jalapeno dip was amazing! The fajita tacos were ok, but I would stick to the appetizer plate to get a taste of lots of items. The mock-aritas were really good as well! Try the mango with a Tajin flavor on the rim! Nice spot for groups.

Had a gift certificate for this place and went on our anniversary. We ordered the combo fajitas and let me tell you.... It was delicious and we will be coming back soon. Service was good and fast, convo to the minimum, which I loved, and ambiance was beautiful, similar to Rosa's but more upscale.

A rather disappointing experience at Chuy's this evening. Let's start with the positives - we were seated very quickly and our server was relatively attentive. Food was mid - we wished the chips were saltier and the enchiladas were overly drenched with sauce. Areas for improvement - I decided to order the kids cheese enchilada. On the menu, it states that the kids meal includes a drink and a dessert. The meal did not end up including either of those items which was disappointing. The main issue was related to cleanliness. When we walked in, there were over four tables that were extremely dirty. I figured those people had just left and the area would be cleaned soon. As more parties left, more tables were not cleared and the dirty tables from the beginning were still in their original condition. tl;dr - kids meal did not include all items as advertised and the restaurant was not clean.

Chuy's is such a mixed bag for me... Great chips, not so great salsa. Great rice and beans; not so great tacos. Decent enchiladas, blah burritos. What is pretty consistent at this place is really good service. Obviously it varies by person, but overall they are all pretty good. The ambiance is the same at every Chuy's you go to. Pretty much festive Mexican would be a description.

This small cup was $8 WTF! For this? Terrible service from the man who took our order and very unpleasant

This small cup was $8! What the... terrible customer service by the guy who took my order.

This is just an abbreviated review of their Chile Relleno special, offered only through 9/8. If you like Chile Relleno, now is your time to visit Chuy's. I like that you get crunchy shells, not the soggy Relleno that most restaurants serve. And, you determine the sauce on top. In my case, I couldn't decide. So, I got two sauces on the side and could decide for myself which I liked. I can't honestly say these are the best Chile Relleno I've ever had, but they are exceptionally good. I recommend this dish! Straight from the menu: Chile Relleno now thru 9/8. Fresh, roasted Anaheim peppers with your choice of chicken or cheese, green chiles, green onion and cilantro. Each one is fried to order and served over one of our eight Signature Sauces.

First I want to say that this visit was skewed by special circumstance of Christmas holiday week, so experiences may vary on other weeks. So because of that I gave them 4 stars which under normal circumstances would have been 3 stars. Our initial experience was poor the call ahead wait list still had us waiting an additional 30 min. We attempted to wait in a very busy bar, but they did not have enough employees to staff it properly, so by the time we received our drinks, the table was ready. I had the beef burrito with hatch Chile sauce, which was delicious. The margaritas were too bitter. The service was excellent, but slow due to the aforementioned crowds.

Both the Tavern and Tycoon are in Flower Mound, and I have not visited, but I have made stops at both Jane and now Volstead. And I have to say, I wanted to be impressed, and I just wasn't. When I went to Jane, the cocktails were not up to snuff. My visit to Volstead, the cocktail was fantastic but the ambiance and food disappointed. I came into Volstead to check out the happy hour. They have a discount on wine, and half off their signature cocktails and martinis. They make craft cocktails, which were impressive, but only have one bartender. It takes time, but they could use another. I ordered a Volstead Vesper. It is a bold martini. Josh made it well. It was well balanced. Boozy yet balanced. And I love a lemon curl. A garnish can really elevate a cocktail. Five stars for the drink. I will come back and order another one. I also ordered their spicy tuna crispy rice. It was rather a disappointment. The serving size was generous, the crunch on the rice was there, and then it fell short. The texture of the rice was on the mushier side. The tuna was NOT spicy. It had been dressed in something, but it brought absolutely NO flavor or anything to the tuna. There was a wasabi cream and a sauce (maybe eel sauce) that dressed the plate, but the tuna was bland. A little soy, citrus, yuzu, sriracha or SOMETHING to elevate and brighten the tuna would have been EVERYTHING. So it just ended up being bland tuna, on undressed avocado, on fried mushy rice with some tasty sauces. It absolutely was not spicy. And with a little something something it could have been rather tasty. Even with mushy rice. When I walked in and sat down, there was no music playing so you were just hearing conversations bouncing off the walls. After about a half hour someone decided they needed some tunes, but then it was too loud and it was hard to hear the bar tenders. I loved the decor, and again, my cocktail was really rather good. The overall feel just felt kind of sloppy. It could have been awesome, and fell short. They claim to have Southlakes best burger, and maybe that is a better choice than the tuna. I may give it a shot. It got rather popular as I was leaving, the crowd a bit more mature. And maybe that is their bag. They have great reviews and high stars, I just didn't feel it.

During my visit in February, I ordered two petite filets, both medium rare. Unfortunately, they came out overly charred to the point of being crunchy and burnt. It was a clear miss on execution, especially for a steakhouse-level dish. To be fair, the waitstaff and bartenders were excellent--attentive, professional, and did their job well. After initially not receiving a response, I was later contacted by Food & Beverage Manager DeLance Woods. He handled the situation professionally, was polite, and took ownership in a way that reflects well on both the restaurant and the Hilton brand. Instead, I walked into a space that was actually really cool. The first thing you notice is this long, dramatic "O"-shaped bar with tons of seating, which immediately made me feel like I needed to sit there... so naturally, I did. As a creature of habit, I plopped myself belly-up to the bar and locked eyes with what can only be described as the star of the show: the frozen vodka tap. Yes. A frozen. Vodka. Tap. Sheesh. As if that wasn't impressive enough, there's also a literal frozen sheet of ice built into the bar where you can set your drinks to keep them cold. I was both amazed and slightly concerned for my future decision-making. Trying to be responsible (and not get sideways alone at a hotel bar), I kept it light and ordered French fries, because I am a certified fry freak and a house garden salad. The fries were exactly what fries should be: hot, crispy, fresh, and wildly addictive. The garden salad was also super crisp and fresh, but the real star was the dressing. I'm pretty sure I ordered three ramekins of it, and if shots of salad dressing were socially acceptable, I would've been in trouble. Service was great too. The bartender was welcoming, friendly, and made the whole experience feel relaxed and easy, no rushed hotel-bar vibes here. Overall, great atmosphere, excellent fries, dangerously good dressing, and a frozen vodka situation that I will absolutely be thinking about again. Would 100% return... and maybe next time, I won't "keep it light."
