I ordered chicken enchiladas with a taco and guacamole on the side. My husband and daughter ordered Chicka Chicka boom boom enchiladas and my other daughter ordered chicken salad. The real star of the night were the chips, salsa, and that white jalapeno sauce! The salsa is spicy, just the way we like it, and the white sauce is addictive. Went to the bar and the service was good. Bartenders checked on us often and served ouf drinks quick, while handling multiple orders from other patrons. Service was excellent and so was the food. What can I say, I am OBSESSED with this place, yes I know it's a chain and honestly I DONT CARE! I can shamelessly say I come here often and mostly in part to their "crack" sauce otherwise knows as cilantro ranch I honestly don't know what it's called but it's addictive and oh so delicious. Since this is a Mexican restaurant they Sever chips and salsa while you wait for your food, go ahead and ask for a side of the white sauce (it's complimentary) you can thank me later! If you happen to come in during happy hour come to the bar, they have an Area to make your own nachos with (beef, salsa, chips, queso) complimentary with the purchase of a drink at the bar, don't sweat it, under age?! Just buy a soda and you are in! The area is refreshed constantly with fresh ingredients and it's always so very clean, staff is great. If you are coming in and bring a framed picture of your pet they will hang it at the bar and gift you with your choice of full price appetizer! Pretty cool and delicious. My favorite and goo to at the restaurant are then big as your face burrito with shredded chicken and the chicken fajitas, they also have the most amazing chicken soup, it's fresh and it's almost as if your grandma made it. Super fresh food served in a mildly annoying but well-intentioned eating environment ! The kitchy ambience is a somewhat cramped, key-west-meets-mexican-grandma's-house vibe. The tables seem strangely out of place, like they were bought from a diner's going-out-of-business sale. I don't get the giant Elvis bust outside, but whatever. I was hungry enough on this particular evening not to care how grating the decor was to my minimalistic taste; i just wanted food and lots of it! We started with chips and queso. Both were incredibly fresh and made in house. The chips were light and crispy, queso was tasty but a bit liquidy. The chicken and steak fajitas for 2 were amazingly fresh too. Super tender and moist as well. Served with house-made rice and refried beans, both - you guessed it - very fresh. Our server, Jenn, explained that both of the meats were marinated for 24 hours in a beer-based concoction that lead to their incredible moistness. Well done, Chuy's. For dessert we chose the tres leches, which was very thick and delicious, though i would have wanted it to be moister. Very generously portioned. Over all it was a very good meal, and not too expensive considering it's location in the tourist-dense i-drive area. We will come back, probably with out of town guests or something. read more

I stopped by for "The 28th Green Chile Festival special menu" featuring hatch green chile for a limited time. The Burrito Loco was indeed crazy that it made my intestines twist like a straight jacket around my stomach. I did not look to pleasing to the eyes either kind of like if I would have neatly rearranged vomit. I live in London but was raised in Denver so my Mexican "itch" is one I don't scratch too often (great -even good- Mexican in London is non-existent). From the moment we walked in until we left, we had a great experience. Great staff. Excellent, fresh and flavourful food, along with a laid back atmosphere, ticked all of the boxes. Not a place I will be going back to. There are far better places to go eat Mexican food. I ordered a steak burrito, literally a steak burrito. That was the only thing inside the tortilla. The bean are dry and the rice looks like it was reheated. The service was okay but they have to step up their game with the food. A burrito is supposed to have cheese, and some sort of sauce and rice inside. Meat inside a flour tortilla is not my definition of a Mexican burrito. read more

This has to me mine and my husbands favorite go to place for a guaranteed good meal. 1st off they don't take reservations so just pop on in. I always like to eat outside as it tends to be quieter. You'll start off with chips and salsa but ask your server for the creamy jalapeno dip as it probably my favorite but seems to be an upon request (yes its free). I love a good fajita so thats my go to but my husband swears by the Big as yo face burrito with the Boom Boom sauce! Trust this is truly bigger than your face and the boom boom is worthy of the extra cost as it add the perfect kick. My family drove over from Tampa for a few days to spend some time at Disney. Very surprised by the level of service we received. Not always the best when you're in a touristy area of Orlando, however Alexis was great! Went out of her way to make sure we got the food prepared the way we asked (special request). Both times I have been to this location (on International Drive) the service has been poor. The first time, they were very busy and it took forever for the server to take our drink order, bring drinks, etc. We were done with our first drink before he came back. The food on the first visit was good. The second time we arrived 30 min before closing. There were about five other tables as well so I didn't feel like I was being a bad customer coming before close. The server was attentive with our first drink and that was it. He only came back one other time and again to tell us "don't mind me, I'm just going to sweep up around here" as he cleaned the whole dining room and flipped chairs in the section. Ok. I get it, you're closing, but he could have checked on us more being next to us cleaning and we left before two other tables. I would not try this location again. No.... I fell for the tourist trap I was a hungry dude looking for some late Mexican food and I stumble upon this place. It was about 40 minutes before closing time and the place was packed so I thought I was going to be able to still squeeze in without any issues. Our server looked like she was ready to go home and she was not having it. We got margaritas to start. Pretty standard margarita, didn't really change my life or anything. Then we proceed to order our entrees and we waited. Waited. A little more.... then our server got our complimentary chips and salsa. We noticed other tables having several refills for water, chips and drinks. Our server was nowhere to be found. I proceed to flag her down for some refills and asked her for some more chips. She came back 10 minutes later like we never had the previous conversation. She realized that she forgot and she blamed it on her being pregnant. Then she brought chips...no salsa. I gave up so I ended up munching my dry chips. Our food took 45 minutes to arrive and it looked like it was microwaved. Sorry, I don't see it. The others reviews look so great. Is it me? It was our first night in Orlando and we were looking for something fun to eat. We visited this Chuy's location which was near our resort and we're glad we did! The wait was a little long on a busy Friday night but we were able to sit at the bar, get a couple of drinks and have some chips and salsa. We all enjoyed our meals and the service was very good. Even the kids ages 12, 11, 8 and 7 gave Chuy's a 10/10. The atmosphere was wonderful and a great place for a family gathering. The table we were sat at was roomy and I just can't speak highly enough of the waitress. Being newbies she recommended a few of her favorites and even brought us out a sample of the Boom Boom sauce to try before we even ordered. Although they have a limited menu due to Covid-19 they did not disappoint. I ordered the fajita kit which includes chicken, steak or both meats, I got both meats. Firstly the portion size was great and could easily feed 6+ people. We received 12 flour tortillas and 6 corn tortillas, guacamole, sour cream, fresh salsa, sour cream, jalapeño cream, queso and taco fillings (lettuce, cheese, and tomatoes)! Chuy's is one of my favorite tex mex chains and whenever we see one we go. This particular one is in a fun location on International drive surrounded by many other restaurants and fun things to do. They have a friendly and efficient staff and the famous tortilla cave where the lovely lady makes fresh tortillas. The margaritas are delish and the food is pretty tasty, though this particular visit it was a little on the salty side...this is not abnormal for this type of cuisine though. They had a balloon animal maker who was pretty legit and my children loved the additional entertainment. Cost to us? Nothing but a tip for the nice lady. We gave her $3 per animal. My dad doesn't like mexican food so he asked for a burger and they were happy to oblige him with a kids meal hamburger. I thought that was nice.
