I can't recommend everything on the menu, that being said, I absolutely love the steak burrito and the queso. The chips are thin, and the salsa and creamy jalapeño dip always seem to hit the spot. read more

Pass on this. Subpar food, from free salsa to entrée. No draft beer. Unpleasant 80s music. 1 star for the fun, funky decor. read more

Chuy's - Hard pass. - Tex-Mex Near Me - Evansville, Indiana

We literally diverted our route home on a trip from Kentucky to hit this Chuy's for lunch. Quality Tex-Mex chain with solid basics like queso and fajitas, and don't forget their creamy jalapeno sauce! Our waitress, Melissa, was very nice and took good care of us. It was definitely worth going out of our way! read more

Jason, our server was the best EVA!! Kind, courteous and genuine, he definitely made our visit memorable. Evansville, this man is a gem

We had a wonderful meal and dining experience here. Went on a Monday night where the place was half full and was seated in a booth quickly. The place is colorful and well decorated with a lot of light. We ordered our beers and were brought a chunky salsa, jalapeño ranch sauce and hot flavorful chips. Great chips and dips. Our beers were served with a frosty glass. I ordered the cheese enchiladas, wife fajita beef tacos, and my sister the seasoned ground beef tacos. They came with lettuce and tomatoes, Mexican rice, and refried beans. All of the food was hot and delicious. Our server did a great job. Great Tex-Mex experience. read more

Unfortunately, I was deeply disappointed in Chuy's in Evansville. I'm a big fan of Chuy's in Kissimmee, FL and was really looking forward to dinner at this branch. But, there was no one to greet people at the door, even though at least 3 or 4 employees passed me without a word. I sat in the bar since no one seemed to want to seat me. The bartender came over and asked if I wanted a drink. I had to ask for a menu to see what they had. He made me a margarita, but no cocktail napkin, no napkin at all, no straw, and not follow up. The food came out fast but tasted like it had been microwaved. It was flavorless and the tortillas were very tough. When the food did come, still no one gave me silverware or a napkin. I asked the bartender and he gave me silverware, but I never got a napkin ever. The chips and salsa are pretty good, but I wouldn't make the trip for just that. I paid and left, without a simple "thanks for coming" from anyone. And, in case you were wondering there were only 2 tables in the bar and only one other person sitting at the bar with me. I'll probably go back to the Kissimmee location again, but doubt I'll make the trip to this one. Sad... read more

Chuy's - Chips, salsa, and dip! - Tex-Mex Near Me - Evansville, Indiana

I've done a lot of reviews of restaurants and I don't think I've ever given a 1 star but the service here warrants it. We were a party of six which is understandably big but the wait was extraordinarily long after ordering, upwards to 45 minutes to get our food. Long wait on refills, long wait on food, deservingly of a one star. We were in the restaurant a total of 2 hours! read more

Our waiter was amazing gave us coupons and saved us money. The food was amazing the tacos are amazing. Would recommend.

Loved the sauces especially the Queso and Jalapeño Ranch. I had the appetizer plate and loved everything on it. Had enough to take home for dinner. I had the nonsweetened iced tea and it tasted like water so I wont recommend that. read more

My granddaughter went to eat here with a friend. From the beginning to the end of their experience here was ridiculous. The servers were rude and would stand in groups pointing and laughing towards the table where my granddaughter was sitting. Turns out, her EX-step-mother works there (Melissa) and was hiding in the back sending these idiot servers out to be rude and give LOUSY service and I wouldn't be surprised if she SPIT in their food. She is a HORRIBLE person and quite psycho in her actions. As far as I'm concerned any company that would have her working for them and allow this type of behavior doesn't deserve ANYONES business. Management needs to take a long hard look at who they have working for them and maybe install cameras OR check your video if you have them to make sure your employees are acting in a manner that is consistent with what Chuy's desires as a place where family's go to enjoy a meal. read more

Seats weren't clean. Hostess was half asleep. Menu was gross and stained. No service in 15 minutes. We left.

Food is fine though I don't like how there's pepper in my cheese quesadillas. The queso is orange but it's good! Now the survive was amazing our waiter was so nice! But other than that Ambience was beautiful! They did give my dad the wrong thing but he said it was still good and me and my cousin got a small stomachache. I would give this place 3.5 stars. read more

Chuy's - Chicken Quesadillas - Tex-Mex Near Me - Evansville, Indiana

The food was great and came out in a timely manner. Our server was amazing too! Not only this, but the prices were reasonable.

I would rate it a 3.5. Our server Issac was great and so friendly. The place bright and welcoming. The jalapeño dip was awesome the queso was very salty with a strong velveeta taste. My dinner was good the chicken chuychanga. The rice was meh but the beans were really good. I chose the tomatillo sauce and it was very good. My hubby said his steak quesadilla was ok but not very flavorful. We were bummed with all the hype around this restaurant. read more

This restaurant was good. Nice seating and decor. Food is good for Tex Mex lovers. Prices were a little on the high side, but there was no shortage of food on the plate. Chips were great and served with ranch dressing and salsa- both very tasty. Service was friendly. Had to wait a while for our food to arrive, but the restaurant was pretty full. read more

This was the worst hostess we have ever experienced. We went on a Sunday at 4 pm with a party of 5 people. They said 20 minutes until we could be seated - 50 minutes later, we had to ask why we hadn't been seat as SEVERAL groups of 2s, 4s and a few 6s got seated right away (like walked in the door WITHOUT RESERVATIONS.) We asked why they couldn't push tables together and they said they had been but had nothing to say when we said we have seen you seat people right when they walked in. They were not even remotely apologetic for our wait and told us AFTER 50 MINUTES, it would be at least another 45 minutes. I also had found a phone on the bathroom floor and turned it in to the hostess saying i found someones phone and they'll probably come looking for it. She literally asked me why I was giving to her????? Like im sorry??? You're the hostess. That is common practice to turn in lost items to you. All that to say. Super disappointed because it has been open a while and we have loved this chain restaurant in other cities. We will never be going here again and not recommending it to our friends. read more

Chuy's only earns stars because the flautas were pretty solid, could not taste the cheese but the chicken had solid flavor, and the shell was crispy. Unfortunately for me and my associate, we did not do research before going to the establishment, that is where the 2 stars came from. Service was fine, no complaints but the whole atmosphere threw me off, prices threw me off. Maybe this is my fault for not knowing much about Tex mex, but I shouldn't have to read the fine print of a menu to know what sides I'm getting. Overall I'm very displeased with my experience, but I don't think that's because of the quality of the food as much as it is the lack of menu options. read more

oh my god. T best chips and dip experience ai've ever had. Despite a packed house, our waiter kept the refills Coming. The creamy jalapeño sauce is To Die For and the queso is unbelievably good. I ate so much chips and dip i couldn't even eat my Chuychanga. Going back ASAP! read more

love the food and service at chuy's!!! dylan is very attentive to her customers and goes the extra mile for a great experience!

First visit. Guys this is Tex mex. Not a typical Mexican restaurant so the comparisons Don't hold up. Very good thin chips and pico with a kick to start. One of us had the steak burrito which had huge chunks of very flavorable meet. I had the chicksa boom. Again flavors that are very good. I had the green chili rice which was great. The refried beans actually had a taste to them. Great lunch. We will certainly be back to try other items on the menu. read more

I ordered take-out. I received no silverware. I ordered one of the larger take-out meals. They didn't even give me chips with the order. I won't order take-out again, and probably won't dine there either. Very poor service! read more

Service was amazing! Food was delicious! Tortilla soup was my favorite! We had a party of 9 and everyone loved it!

First visit. Hostess was more concerned about a waiter that had to take over the take outs. I requested a nearby table because my wife can hardly walk. She took us by 15 empty tables to the table by the kitchen. We were finally taken back to an area by the bar. Kaitlyn is an asset to your operation. She is very efficient and a wonderful person. However, that being said, the food was not good at all. I really felt like leaving after the first bite. My first visit and my last visit. Doesn't even qualify for one star. The best recommendation is to drive on by. Everett read more

We've been a few times now. Tonight we had Austin as a waiter who was absolutely fantastic. The manager Daniel came over and was just as great. Wonderful food, great atmosphere and overall awesome experience. I would recommend this place to all of my friends and family. read more

Worst cheese dip! My kids liked their dish but my wife and I didn't like either of ours.

Food was very good. Had a girl seeing me that pretty much screwed up most things. I ordered chips and special dips and she brought me just the regular chips and dip. I ordered a margarita on the rocks she brought me one that was frozen. I think she was off in the zone. read more

Went there with my wife on a dinner date. was the worse mexican food ever. Taco bell would have been a much better choice! I had the appetizer cheese quesadilla, I didn't want the onions only the green chiles. Since they are pre-packaged I was told that I had to have both or neither. What restaurant cannot make something to order? Burger King, McDonalds, Wendy's etc... can do this. A Mexican restaurant with no green chilies, only a pre-packaged with onions. WOW! And to top it off, they cannot even make a decent margarita! Very disappointing! Our first and last time there! read more

Bad attitude hostess had bad attitude. 5 person party. 90 minute wait when told 20. Several 4 and 2 parties seated before us. Refused to combine tables and no sorry or empathy at all. I would not go back for a free meal. Go to Acapulco instead. Far better service and food. read more
