You order at the counter and find a seat. They didn't give us any numbers but still found us without any issue. The salsa bar was definitely a highlight and what drew me to this restaurant. They definitely adjusted the heat in the salsas to appeal to the most people, giving warnings of very hot and extremely hot. As a spice lover the hottest one was around a medium by my standard, but the flavors were excellent. We asked for some chips to sample the salsas before our meal arrived. They tasted homemade and very good. I ordered the chicken and pastor tacos with everything (cilantro, onions, lime) and also tried the pork tamale with green sauce. My bf had a chicken burrito. Everything was excellent, but the tamale was just a tad dry, but did taste homemade which was a plus. The tacos were well seasoned and the burrito was huge so we had leftovers. The food came out fast and before we left we also ordered a mango smoothie and mango with tajin/tamarind which was the perfect sweet treat. La Campirana is an absolute gem and one you should visit immediately!

We were seated and chips and a very tasty salsa arrived. I ordered a beer and cheese dip. Beer and mug were ice cold, as they should be. We enjoyed the cheese dip with the salsa and chips I ordered burrito fajita, and my sister the ground beef chimichanga. Both arrived quickly nice and hot. Both thought our meals were good. The place has the typical Mexican restaurant look and feel to it.

The menu items are jazzed up with new combinations I hadn't seen before. This place is huge and can accommodate a party of whatever you need. For an appetizer…read morewe ordered Guacamole Mexicano, it was thick, not runny, and it was mixed well with diced tomatoes and onions. Not spicy at all. For the entrée, we ordered mixed Fajitas and Fiesta Fajita Mexicana, both came with a side of rice, beans, salad, sour cream, guacamole and tortillas (recommend maiz instead of flour) They are large portions and came sizzling! When having a big meal, you need to have a big drink. My partner ordered a large maragarita, unfortunately, her drink was weak. Also, we were seated at a table that was wobbly which could have spilled our drinks or salsa. I recommend trying Acapulco if you want to have a small latin experience with music, decor, and of course, sizzling fajitas!

But I was seated immediately, and my server had my drink order out quickly. This is a step above your typical greasy spoon diner. It's quite nice, a little loud at times, and if you wanted to have a cup of coffee and listen in on the conversations around you, easy to do. I ordered one of their breakfast platters - country fried steak covered in sausage gravy (yum), scrambled eggs (light and fluffy), hash brown potatoes (excellent) and a short stack of pancakes. Special praise on the pancakes - they were perfect. This place is great. Prices are VERY reasonable for the portion sizes. Would come here again in a heartbeat.

Hands-down the best experience I have had at a Taco Bell!…read more I have to admit that I stopped eating at Taco Bell for a long time. I don't mean this location, I mean Taco Bell as a whole. Recently we decided to give it another chance. I brought my family to this location and had such a great experience we have been back several times. If you have a larger sized group like my family expect something to be wrong. The biggest difference for me was that the staff was quick to pivot and correct the mistake. We have been repeat customers several times since then without issue.
