Great staff working together was nice to see and Knob Hill is more than a tavern with separate dining area and an outside patio with patrons dining despite the rain but we went in to the bar area so I could watch the weather reports for my travels the next day on one of their TV's. Great cold fishbowl mugs available and my son even met an old classmate from high school and got caught up on their lives. He even got a peck (kiss) on the cheek from a lady at the next table who couldn't resist his "lure of the animal" and the red face gave us all a chuckle. If you want the luxury of accepting cards, you should be responsible for the fees. I'm over going places that charge me just to pay them. Either be a cash only establishment or don't charge fees for using cards! Bloody Mary was fire though! Atmosphere is cute and aesthetically pleasing but just really not worth the price. I think this might be one of the most overrated restaurants in the area. But there's not many seafood choices so I guess do with this review what you will! Be warned slow service and take cash.

We were quickly greeted and seated. The restaurant was meticulously clean!! The food was cooked fresh and tasted delightful! I started my order with the New York roll, a lightly breaded and deep fried roll and it was amazing! For the entree I opted for the Filet, Chicken, and Shrimp hibachi. Again, the food came out fast, freshly prepared, and tasted amazing! The portions were bigger than average with enough hibachi left over for the following days lunch.

However, their carryout service was really busy with people coming in and out. I ordered the Chicken Hibachi dinner. I wanted to compare it to other restaurants that offer this dish. It's served with a clear soup and green salad, vegetables and fried rice. I didn't like the soup but the salad was very tasty. The serving of chicken and rice was ample. I even took some home which is rare for me. The vegetables were delicious, the fried rice was tasty and the chicken was seasoned well. It was a good dinner, but just not as good as the places I usually get this meal. My husband got the sushi and was disappointed. He found it pretty bland, when it was suppose to be a spicy dish, and didn't like how the fish was cut up. The restaurant is clean and comfortable. The server was attentive. Since it was hard to hear our conversation due to the TV, I asked her to turn it down and she did. That is a pet peeve of mine. Unless you are in a bar, I don't know why TVs need to be in restaurants. It's a good restaurant, but it didn't meet my expectations.
