Guacamole
Melitta S.

Had an enjoyable Linner (lunch/dinner) and this lively establishment. The salsa was spicy and I mean hot... I loved it. The cohort stuck to the ranchy dip that came with the chips. The table chips were nice and warm, salty and fresh. Get the guacamole (it's great!) I got the Vegetable enchiladas with chile verde sauce and cohort got texmex burrito. His was better. Thoroughly enjoyed the raspberry margarita

PANCHOS
Candice K.

Today my husband and I went to Chuys at Easton for a late lunch. We shared the Panchos. This is their version of Nachos but 100 times better. The chips are Tostada's and they are loaded with the meat of your choice. We picked ground beef. They also included refried beans, cheese, Pico de gallo, jalapeños and guacamole. The dish was served fresh and very hot. Each chip had plenty of toppings and was plenty to share. We also had the complimentary chips, salsa and jalapeño ranch dipping sauce which absolutely love. Our server was super nice and attentive. Highly recommend getting the Panchos if you go. The atmosphere/ambiance had a cool vibe and I especially love the larger than life Palm Trees.

Had to make a mid week run to Costco this week, and my daughter and wife were hungry, so figured on hitting up Chuy's. Hadn't been to a Chuy's, since we were in Fort Worth. I always start with the cleanliness of any establishment, and this Chuy's get's an A+. The portion of food you get here is quite generous, the shrimp tacos were great. The fried shrimp in the taco had a light crunch when you bit into it, which was delicious. My daughter had the taco salad, and the chicken tacos, which also hit the spot. Could not finish everything, ended up taking 2 plates home with us, which my son devoured later that evening. Service was very friendly, and quick. A very nice touch was the to go bag of chips at the end of the meal, plus to go drinks for my wife, which she appreciated. Definitely worth a stop, for some good food, and friendly service.

Kind of surprised that I hadn't left a review for this location but, apparently, we eat more often at their Polaris location. Regardless, always a good meal. This time we decided to go away from our usual Chuychanga and Mexi-cobb salad and try something different. And we weren't disappointed. We ordered the Comida Deluxe and the Tex-Mex burrito bowl. Huge portions, especially the burrito bowl. Always great chips and salsa. Our server Ella took care of us perfectly. Always a good time. Abundant parking. Good atmosphere. Go there.

By far the best chips and salsa of any place around and don't even get me started on the jalapeño ranch... so so good!!!

Had a great experience yesterday during a Yelp Elite event at Chuy in Easton. Keep in mind that I have been to Chuy in the past and have had a great experience but this experience is based on the event from last night. The event was at 6:30 PM and we were to try menu items and watch some dancing. First of all, the restaurant is decorated perfectly for a Mexican restaurant. We had a little back room where we were able to all sit at tables together and enjoy the event. I have been to Chuy in the past for happy hour and highly recommend it as they have free chips and queso and salsa, the list goes on. They also have really good happy hour drinks. I had not had all of the salsas are the dips until last night but I highly recommend boom boom dip. All the menu items that we tried, we had small portions so keep that in mind. I'm a big fan of the rice, it's the normal Mexican rice that you get at Mexican restaurants but better. I also really liked the panchos, they are like nachos but a big brother. Nachos with your choice of fajita chicken, fajita beef or seasoned ground beef in guacamole. Yum. Don't get me wrong, we did try a lot of menu items but that was my favorite. The last item that I want to talk about is a tres leches dessert because it's AMAZING! It's a generous slice of signature cake made with three milks, served with housemaid cream fraiche, Carmel and strawberries

Yum!!! I seriously mean that. Chain Mexican Food can be blah sometimes. It really can. But Chuy's is pretty darn good. One thing I remember is the happy hour nacho bar. Mmmm good. They did not have that today but that's ok. Celebrating my nieces high school graduation at her favorite place. I decided I wanted Nachos. So I went big and got Panchos!! OMG... so good. "Like if nachos had a big brother. Nachos with your choice of fajita chicken, fajita beef or seasoned ground beef & guacamole". I chose the fajita chicken. Amazing!! I highly recommend. Check out the pic. It explains it all. Really good food. Great service and nice atmosphere. When in Columbus, OH it's a must place to go.

It was my sisters birthday and our parents came into town to celebrate. Our service was truly awful -- had to remind the waiter to refill beverages, walk around to find them to order apps/main courses, forgot to place an app order, and the worst was walking around clueless trying to find utensils when our food arrived because they literally forgot to bring us some. Our food was cold by the time we started eating because I also couldn't find any other waiters to help us. The boom boom sauce was so good, I will be coming back just for that in the future. Probably also if I want something light for lunch. However as a side it was $4.39 which I found to be crazy when I saw the bill. I would just ask to substitute it as a sauce on main courses because it's expensive otherwise. Other than that, it's pretty average Mexican food. It falls under on the border in terms of food. I would much rather go to on the border next time.

Fajitas are the best in town tbh. The service isn't bad. Could do with out the religious stuff.

Burrito with Hatch green chile sauce, rice, and beans.
Marissa C.

We placed an online order while out and about. They have several dedicated parking spots for carry out right in front of the restaurant. The food was filling and tasty, definitely Tex-Mex as described in the name. We had a steak burrito with Hatch Green Chile sauce (they have an impressive selection of sauces from which to choose!), cheese enchiladas with ranchera sauce, Mexican rice, and refried beans. It was accompanied by a large bag of chips and cups of sour cream and salsa. The menu also offers tacos, soups, salads, fajitas, and more. Staff was friendly.

I sit at the bar and I'm greeted by something I've never had ever...chips served with 2 red salsas, a verde salsa and bean dip! Usually you just get chips, a small bowl and a carafe of salsa, help yourself. This set the tone that this would be different than usual. I ordered steak fajita nachos and a Modelo Negra. I powered thru the chips and bean dip like it was my job. And it didn't disappoint. Really fresh and flavorful. Nachos are nachos, right? Wrong. How they are assembled has everything to do with their mouth feel as they cool down. I've had nachos that come out looking amazing but as they cool, turn into a disappointing chuck of chips held together by shredded cheese cement. These stayed loose with crunchy bites of peppers and onions, and the cheese sauce coated instead of becoming cement-like. I always order the same thing when trying a New Mexican spot. If the nachos are good, chances are everything is good! So I'll keep the almost 5 Star steak going. I agree, some of the best Mexican food in Columbus.

He also brings a little stand for my cell phone so I can eat and watch YouTube. Never have I had that offered to me at any restaurant. His hustle, service and smile was appreciated. The nachos were really good. The marinated pork, cheese sauce, fresh chips, chunks of pineapple, sour cream and salsa verde just came together well. Bonus points for the cheese sauce. Not to mention I watched him prepare everything thru the glass counter. He's back there having fun then brings your food out with a smile. Love it. If it were super busy I don't know how he would keep up, but I appreciate his hustle. Yelp, your recommendation didn't disappoint. While I was in Korea, I came across a story that stopped me in my tracks--one of those moments when…read morethe weight of someone else's experience hits close to home. Ricardo, a waiter at Cazuela's Mexican Cantina in Reynoldsburg, had finished serving a table, expecting the usual--a tip, a simple acknowledgment of his hard work. Instead, he received a hateful message scrawled on the receipt, the kind that cuts deeper than words should. Ricardo works at Cazuela's only on Sundays, a second job to help make ends meet. So today, in between my OCIA responsibilities, I decided to stop by--to meet him, to shake his hand, and to remind him that there are far more good people in this world than the ones who spew hate. As we talked, I saw a man who carries himself with quiet dignity, someone who simply wants to work hard and provide for his family. I shared with him that I, too, know what it feels like to be told to "go back to your country," even though, like him, I am an American. I told him about my childhood, standing in front of my family's Crestview Market, hearing the ugly chants from passing cars--some driven by kids I went to school with. But today wasn't just about reliving painful memories; it was about something greater--the power of community, of kindness that drowns out cruelty. When I arrived at Cazuela's, I wasn't alone. Others had also come to show their support, to stand with Ricardo. He told me the outpouring of kindness had been overwhelming, and I was relieved to hear it. Before I left, I handed him my WARM card and told him if he ever needed help, he could call me. Because no one should feel alone in moments like these. And, by the way, if you ever stop by Cazuela's, their enchiladas and Mexican rice are fantastic. The chips and salsa? Fresh and addictive. And my server, Isabel--attentive, kind, and everything a great waitress should be. Some people choose to spread hate. But today, I saw so many more people choosing love. And thats what matters.
