The steak torta is what I got this trip but on other visits I get the steak tacos, my husband got the steak burrito and sometimes he gets the Al pastor tacos and likes those a lot too. I always try to be open minded and try a place regardless of negative reviews, but the majority is correct here. I ordered a chicken bowl, a steak burrito, and an al pastor quesadilla. I didn't want beans, sour cream, or cheese in my bowl but suddenly that meant they'd take away the guac and lettuce also. I wanted the guac the most. There was barely anything in the bowl food wise and portions are small. $9 ? No thanks. I also had to dump a bunch of sauce into it to add flavor and had to fry up my own veggies to put in for substance. The burrito was fine but of course was also missing the guac. Flavor lacked. The quesadilla was so greasy and lacked flavor we ended up letting it sit in our fridge. Avoid this place if you can. Not worth it! read more

It's a great space with a beautiful light fixture, and glass fountain that includes tequila bottles. The staff members were so nice, and checked on us at our table during the meal. Taco Nice was a great place for lunch on a Tuesday. They have BOGO on al pastor on Tuesday which is a great deal being $3 a taco. The meat was flavorful and what I expected. I also go the shrimp tacos which had a carrot slaw on top and made it delicious. Lastly, I got a taco nice skirt steak taco. While more expensive, the gauc on it was an amazing touch. Unfortunately, the food was just downright bad. 2 quesadillas, and order of chips, queso & Napolitos, 1 drink came to a whopping $35 The steak I ordered on my quesadilla was inedible. I had 3 bites & stopped. The meat was poor quality and filled with fatty chunks. My quesadilla was so greasy that it could not be picked up. Queso Fundido is usually served in a hot skillet, but here it simply meant a bowl of runny lackluster queso with nopalitos thrown in there. Honestly, it was unappetizing. I was feeling Mexican food for lunch and Taco Nice was in the area, so we decided to try it out. It's actually a spacious strip plaza join. The bar and order area are on one side, booths and a few tables spread for social distancing on the other side. Let's get to the important part, the food. My pastor quesadilla was disappointing - no flavor at all and the grease started flowing out as soon as I picked that sucker up. It was obviously fried on a flattop grill, so I could taste the grease and nothing else. The pastor was mixed with the cheese- couldn't have told u without looking, because it was nonexistent (taste-wise). Same for my mother's pastor taco - dripping grease, and not one component could you taste. Sad. I couldn't eat more than two bites of my tortilla getup. Perhaps it was just an awkward day, who knows, but I'm firm on "first chance impressions", so It is what it is. read more

So I wish Yelp allowed half stars, it's really about 3.5 but not quite a four. Several friends had suggested this place so I knew I needed to try it out. I started with the taco's I had 3 different first was Beef cheek, then Brisket, and finally Pastor. All three were cooked perfectly and had all the topping you would expect. However the meat tasted all the same it was lacking flavor, I was glad the Taco's came with additional sauces. We also tried the Torta sandwich which was good, the bun they use is fantastic and really holds up to all the toppings. The sandwich comes with Tomato, onion, Avocado, mayo, beans, and Oaxaca cheese and I choose Brisket as the protein. The dining room is spaced out and very clean with all the Covid standards in place. The bar which is filled with everything you could want does have a happy Hour Monday- Friday 2 to 6. read more

First time coming was a major let down, but I may give them one more chance. I ordered the chicken quesadilla and I said no cheese and got chicken only. I would have thought lettuce, onion, tomato or anything else would be on it, but nope. I guess I should have checked before I went home, but I assumed some type of toppings would be there. I can find nothing positive to say about Taco nice. It is so expensive and you get plastic silverware. There's nothing for me to say that is positive. Food has zero flavor and absolutely no visual appeal. You have to go to the food side counter and order food. I had to go to the bar side to order alcohol drinks. I cannot imagine it's surviving on the west side. This building is new and the rent per square foot has got to be extremely high and I don't know how they're making their money Those native to the country of Mexico that live on the west side may support this place but I don't know where people can get the money to hang out at this place. Taco Nice has the best sit down Authentic Mexican food on the West side of Columbus hands down. It delivers really well too! When they first opened I was so excited, and nearly a year later I'm glad they've survived their first year (most restaurants fail in that first year). The lengua is absolutely amazing, lengua (cow tongue) is my favorite cut of meat and they're one of the few "Mexican" places in town that actually authentically like in MX makes it and puts it in a variety of options. My husband loves the torta bistec! My whole family loves the Jamaica (Hibiscus drink, pronounce Huh-MIKE-Uh). I always look forward to stopping by after visiting my family doctor whose office is down the street; Taco Nice is my and my daughter's after doc' treat. Finally paid Taco Nice a visit. The facility was very clean and staff was very helpful and friendly. I sat at the bar and got a Texas Margarita. It was very good and didn't taste artificial. I would definitely like to come back during happy hour. Ordered a few street tacos and corn on the cob. The tacos were a little cold and wish the meat was a little more flavorful and juicy. The corn was good, but wish they would have grilled or char broil the corn before putting the mayo sauce on top. It was just a boiled ear of corn.
