Can I choose to give them a minus rating ? Because that's what it felt like waiting for 1.5 hours and not getting my food served. They were busy packing to go orders and kept the entire section waiting for an hour on salsa and chips. The server at my table did not care and got orders for 3 people on a table of 5. The usual cadence is to say that the food ordered is insufficient, but she could care less. After an hour of waiting and the order getting messed up , she did not bother to offer to speed up my reorder( I was told that my order would take another one hour ). I chose to save my time and not have my family wait for another hour. On requesting to speak to the manager , I spoke to the server on the other table , who may or may not be the manager. Who knows?! I had a ruined evening where I paid for the food and came back home hungry. If you want a similar experience, please visit chuys at cedar park. read more

This may be the worst Chuys in Texas. I live down the street and have given this place 3 chances, but the food is not up to Chuy's standards. Thee one star is for the service, but even they seem somewhat new to the restaurant. Just don't go, stick to the Round Rock location. read more

Went to this Chuy's for the first time last night. We will NEVER go back. Got in at 5:20pm and was told 20-30min wait for our party of 3 adults and our 2 three year olds. At the 30min mark we let them know that we could fit into a booth as the kids were getting restless. People kept coming in and getting seated while we waited. The last straw was a party of 4 that got seated who showed up well after we did. It was now 6:15 so we had been waiting 55 minutes. I asked the hostess what exactly was the problem in getting us seated. She just stared like she didn't have a clue what was happening. She had no resolution or reason why we had been there almost an hour with our 2 toddlers and offered no assistance. Strong work girl, you will go far in life with that attitude. I asked to speak with a manager. Another hostess told us she could "seat us right away". The manager met us after we were seated and apologized for them "dropping the ball". He said we would get a discount on our meal. The meal came and was so so. Nothing special. The waitress dropped off the ticket and there was no discount. She had no clue what I was talking about when I inquired to the discount. Her response was "oh ok I will tell him" and she walked off. So more waiting to get the check. Two and a half hours later we walked out and will never go in again. NEVER AGAIN. read more

It's okay. The food tastes fine, if a bit bland, but the service is slow, it's always way more crowded than other options, and even stuff like chips and queso apparently contain wheat. I get that it's quite popular, but there are a lot of better options. read more

I mean what Austinite doesnt love Chuys? We love them for the jalapeno ranch salsa, of course! Ok, they have cool shirts too.

CREAMY JALAPENO DIP!!!! The food, service and introducing new cocktails (blackberry ANYTHING is great!!). My husband and I are regulars at Chuy's. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! read more

New location so I will cut them some slack on service. Food is ALWAYS good Tex-Mex(ish) just as all other Chuys. To Jim S from WICHITA KS, I find it odd you think you are some kind of expert on Tex-Mex anyway, but whatever! Chuys is always great food, drinks and atmosphere. Don't like it? Go home to Kansas! read more

They're good enough but good luck eating within a hour. They are ALWAYS packed. And call ahead doesn't work well either. You are more likely to get a wrong order than not. I love Chuys, I wish this one was easier to get in to eat at. read more

Went to eat there the other day and for both us at lunch it was $44. We ordered the big as your face burrito, the fajita lunch plate, small cheese queso with guacamole and a large margarita. After tip, $51. The food was below avg and the fajitas were tough. I felt ripped off when we left, wont do it again. read more

Our first time at Chuy's and we had a blast. The staff was friendly and we loved our waiter, Tristan. It was loud but that just added to the fun atmosphere for our kids and we didn't feel bad when our one year old was crying. Food was great and my picky child cleaned his plate. We stayed a half an hour after closing and asked to buy some T-shirts. They already put everything away but were more than willing to unlock the cabinets to find the shirts we wanted. The manager even took the time to go out back for more sizes. I couldn't believe how extremely nice everyone was. read more

Outdoor space was small, and service was s-l-o-w. No gluten free options at this location. (the manager did get me a plain grilled chicken with some shredded cheese on top hence one of the stars) The other star is because my husband LOVES himself some chuy's but wasn't thrilled with his food. read more

Don't know why this place is so packed, it's not that great! The enchilada was chicken in a tortilla with some weird sour cream mix sauce on top, that was it,very bland. The "chalupa" was simply a tostada you would get at a Taco Bell. The service was ok, but girl was not too friendly, needs to smile. There is a place on Bell Blvd. that is much better, I think it is called Los Reyes. It is more authentic Mexican food, which is hard to find in Cedar Park. read more

I'm hoping it's just because this is a new restaurant and it was a busy day but food was awful and service not much better. My husband's rellleno had cold chicken inside , crunchy Chile - sometimes when chains get too big they lose a little something. We didn't complain and we will try it again. We're very excited to have a Chuy's in Cedar Park. Just a little blah today. read more

Service and food is always amazing! The atmosphere is loud but not a drawback. The only downside is it is always extremely busy and can be hard to get in....but busy is a good sign right? read more

Really good food with big portions. The only thing is, you may need to wait for a table bbecUse it's always busy. And oh the chips and salsa is free! I mean, YASSS!!! my kids are picky eaters but they LOVE Chuy's! Will be coming back, again. read more

The food was amazing, service was good. our waiter messed up but fixed it right away and was very sweet the whole time and management was awesome! The only problem was the hostesses at the front. I bought a shirt and the young girl got it and rang me up. I gave her money and she was about to give me the wrong change back so I corrected her. She made the rudest face when I did this. Maybe if she wasn't talking so much to her friends and paying attention she would of gotten it right the first time. These girls need to learn what good customer service is. I get it, It's dinner time but don't be rude and watch the attitude. read more

This is probably our favorite Mexican place in Austin. The selection of vegetarian dishes and the food quality never fails to impress. Our waitress Ana offered extraordinary service and hospitality! read more

I'm reading a lot of reviews on here... and happened to be here when Charlotte H. was here. Everyone at the bar had full glasses. Bartender was polite and friendly. Bartender engaged those that wanted to have conversation and those that are more reserved he gave them some respectable breathing room. I was not one of "the young girls drinking wine at the end of the bar" but I was there the entire time and the review Charlotte left was inaccurate. Everyone is clearly entitled to their own opinion, but if you sit quietly at the bar and act like you don't want to be spoken to, odds are --- you'll be left alone to enjoy your evening and be attended to with awareness and respectful distance. Typically those on cell phones the majority of their stay (probably writing their terribly inaccurate review) will miss the fact that their bartender looked at them numerous times to assist them and left them be in an effort to not interrupt their rant. Upon Charlotte and company getting up and leaving, the bartender thanked them for coming in and told them to have a great evening. Personal view - if you aren't happy with the service you are receiving then address it in the moment rather than passive aggressively leave an inaccurate review that taints the reputation of a respectable establishment and affects more than just the individual you're attacking. read more

I give five stars for excellent service. I am not too sure about the layout of the restaurant inside. It seem small and a poor use of space. Parking is not adequate outside. I had to walk from a neighboring store and hope that I was allowed to do so. Food was average Chuys food. I had a taco salad. They didn't have a gluten free menu. Margarita was good. Chips are thin. There was an hour wait at lunch on a weekday. Glad to have them in Cedar Park. read more

This is a great spot! I love coming in and getting the Baja Tacos. Service was great. Margaritas are delcious

Today was by far the worst I have seen from this place. Took 20 minutes to be seated, 15 minutes to see our server, and then 1 hour to get our food. Terrible terrible service. read more

Our family favorite! I've never cared for tres leches until I tried it at Chuys. Heaven!!!! It's now a MUST when we go! You can never go wrong with a happy hour free queso bar, either! The drinks are always yummy and refreshing, the food has an amazing taste of its own, the sauce variety is out of this world delish and the staff is always on point. We never are left waiting at our table for a refill or for something we may need. I literally have no complaints other than it gets very busy at dinner... but that's because everyone else knows how amazing it is, too! read more

When is it not a great time to get a margarita and Mexican food, this is Texas. Love the staff here, just always crazy busy! Definitely call ahead! read more

Waited 45 minutes for a order I placed 2 hours previously. People are coming and going with to go orders that came in after me, the only reason I didn't give it a 1 star is because some red headed lady maybe a manager who knows have me a free tub of salsa. Very disorganized on the first day, not happy with my first visit to cedar park. Be warned it may be a little rough the first month till they figure it all out, if you can go to austins chuys I recommend that over cedar park. read more

a lot of problems during my last visit. to start off, the host was very rude and it seemed like he was out of it, kinda like he was on drugs or something. we put our name on the list and came back 5 minutes later to get seated and he forgot we were even there. then had attitude when asking for the name. he took us to our booth and it just wasn't cleaned from the previous customers. beans in the seat. my step dad instantly goes to ask if he could get our table wiped down and he already forgot where we were sitting??? not even a minute after taking us there. the waitress was pretty nice and checked on us frequently. was also really loud and the tables felt very compact and crowded to one another. read more

Love the food. The chips and salsa and the creamy jalapeño dip are amazing and so addictive. My favorite is the steak burrito. And so many sauces to choose from. The boom boom sauce is my favorite and not listed on the menu. read more

Went on a Friday afternoon and had a 55 min wait. But totally surprised this Austin Original Restraunt I managed to avoid for years and finally went. Lots of food for your money and service was 5 star. KUDOS to Austin the server. read more

Great food, service and atmosphere. Wait wasn't real long considering it was lunchtime on a Sunday. Wait time for food was pretty short too. So glad to have a Chuy's closer now. Will be visiting again and again. read more

I have been going to Chuys for over 25 years. The Cedar Park location, like others is always busy. Service is pretty consistent. The food almost always is excellent. Negro Modelo and enchiladas are my favorite. read more

Not good but not bad. Pretty standard Mexican restaurant. Hostess was very pleasant and we got seated right away. Waiter was friendly and checked on us every so often. Food wasn't anything special. Wasn't bad but didn't knock our socks off. Overall you won't be disappointed, but you also won't be impressed and given we are in a pretty good food area being greater Austin, there is stiff competition around. read more

Good, but nowhere near worth the hype, or the wait for that matter. The inside decor is vibrant, new and nice. The food is decent, but I admit I don't get the hype. Not just for this Chuy's, but any of them I've been to. We love TexMex and Mexican food, and this is just "ok." Carlos was a nice young man who was friendly and helpful, and from what we could tell the remainder of the voluminous staff was also kind and helpful. Just "A-Ok." read more

Just an ok experience Food is just so-so Very much prefer Lupe Tortilla down the road! read more

Excellent family restaurant. Our waitress Cary (Sunday, 2/19/17 at 12:00 noon) provided with first class customer service beyond our expectations... the food (Tex-Mex) was also excellent 5/5 stars. Our wait time for a very busy Sunday was a reasonable 20 minutes. Highly recommend this restaurant at this location. read more

The Jalapeño dip is so tasty! Margaritas for everyone! It's a great TexMex style restaurant

Always fast, always good. Hit them up during Happy Hour for free taco bar. The wait staff is always good, and the wait isn't too long. Reasonable price for Ted-Mex read more

Checked in using yelp. It accepted my check in, but told that they don't do yelp check in any more. They should probably disable that option in yelp then read more

Great TexMex food. Reasonable prices. There's always a wait but if you want good food, you're going to expect a wait. I haven't found anything on the menu that I didn't like. Even the creamy Jalapeño dip is super good. Can't wait for my next trip. I always leave stuffed. They usually have food service. Really good margaritas too. read more

I love the chips. food is always good. We enjoy the patio. Service has always been good.

Always awesome... for a chain Tex Mex place, this one is the best. Always consistent, always packed and always great!

Chuy's never lets me down! The steak burrito is my new favorite! I recommend is with the BOOM Boom Sauce for that kick!
