I love this place especially their chips and salsa and beef fajita plate. Except that I am not big cheese fan in EVERY food item.

WE LOVE EATING HERE!! Always have great waitresses and waiters. Excellent food (of course!) Would recommend to anyone looking for a great Tex Mex restaurant. read more

First of all I really like Chuy's. I like there salsa and especially like the creamy jalapeño sauce. Chips are fantastic. They are thin and crisp and I luv that. We have been waiting awhile to get into this location. It's always busy. The day we went in it was only a 10 minute wait companied to 45+ before for the wait time and that wasn't happening. So we were excited to finally eat at this location that's close to us. Our waitress cane over fairly quickly and got our drink order. I got a frozen margarita and I wasn't disappointed. It was as delicious. My husband got a beer. They only have bottled beer but that's ok. If that's all ya got. We ordered nachos for an appetizer. Well they were good but the cheese was melted too much was kinda hard, and took forever to get them. We ordered chicken fajitas, steak burrito and chicken enchiladas. The chicken on the fajitas was pretty good but the onions were not very good. They had no taste. My husbands steak burrito was ok and my chicken enchiladas were just ok. The sauce was good but the tortilla and chicken itself was cold and had no flavor. We have had a lot better experience at the other locations. I hope they work the kinks out. Really want to. like this location. To end on a positive note try there margaritas they are delicious. read more

This place seems to always be super busy, even when we just drive by it. We've tried to eat here several times only to be dissuaded by a long wait time. Finally we came and only had a 10 minute wait, so we were excited. We've eaten at multiple Chuy's around town, and have always had a great or a least a very good experience. This experience can best be described as OK. The food just didn't taste as good as the other times we've eaten at other locations. The chicken fajitas were good, but the onions had no grilled look or flavor and seemed to be steamed and just sitting there limp and flavorless. The enchilada had a tortilla that didn't taste fresh and the filling was lacking any spice. On the plus side, the boom boom sauce is still as good as advertised and highly recommended. The server was good, but slow. We'll keep going to Chuy's, but we may go to another location. Hopefully this one will get the kinks worked out, because the people clearly want it to succeed. read more

I love coming to Chuys with my family! We enjoy the jalapeño ranch & enchiladas. Wait time can be off but the staff, once you are sat, are excellent people with excellent service. read more

This restaurant is not as good as most Chuy's. Atmosphere isn't either.

First thing, I don't write bad reviews and I absolutely love the food at Chuy's. Unfortunately this is the worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant, the hostesses paid no attention to my boyfriend and I. We waited outside like everyone else and when we were notified to come inside we felt uncomfortable in the presence of the 4 hostesses. I will never come to this location again if this is the type of people they hire. Waitress was great and food was amazing. Just a shame to see 18 year olds turning business away. read more

I always love Chuys! This place is no exception. Service is good and food was great. Like other diners have said this place is very popular right now so you will be waiting a while for a table. The specials are also not on the menu yet but hopefully will be coming soon. Chikka Chikka Boom sauce is on point at this location too. I can't wait to try some of my other favorites in future visits. read more

Always good service and great food. They have a super friendly staff and always check in at the right time. Food is always perfect and I've never had a less than stellar experience here. read more

Always amazing service even when the restaurant gets busy. Food always comes out correctly and delicious. I love their free queso happy hour, such a great deal! Margaritas are amazing as well! read more

The food here is as good as the locations in Round Rock and North Austin. The wait time for getting seated seems to be about fifteen to twenty minutes even during off times. This might be because it's new. We've been there frequently since they opened (once twice in one week!) and have always had to wait at least that long. However, there's a fun bar area where you can get chips and drinks while you wait for your table. (The drinks are YUMMY.) The servers are impressively nice. On our most recent visit, we asked our waiter if we could get half of our Special Nachos w/out beans. He suggested we get two half orders. We did, but when we got the ticket, it was more expensive than we thought. He brought the manager over, and the manager explained that he would fix this for us. In the future, he said we could order a full order, half without beans. So, here's the lesson--people make mistakes. All people everywhere. It's how you handle those mistakes that makes a difference in customer service. This Chuy's made sure that we were happy and had a good experience. We love this Chuy's and are thrilled to have it so close to us! read more

Melissa was very nice with me and my family. We change our table when we request it. Then, Rylee served us the food and he was also very kind. It is not the first time I go to that Chuys and always the customer service is amazing! read more

Our waiter Anna made it seem like we were a bother. First. She gave us a sample of the pork and talked it up so we would order it, then came back literally a minute later and said there is no more. I know she can't help it but shouldn't they communicate that to servers. Second. I order a burrito with the Chuy's sauce in the side. I was never brought my sauce. I assume she just wanted me to use the sauce we were dipping out chips in. Then when asked for one she had an attitude saying I would have to pay $4. Umm no thanks Third. I asked for a dessert menu and she said there wasn't one and told us what they had, put out receipt on the table and walked away. So I guess we weren't allowed to get dessert. This bothered me more than anything. We would've ordered a dessert which would of made us tip her more. But like I said we were not given that option when we were clearly interested in ordering one. And we heard her talking to another table about desserts and you can take one home but not us. We asked for everything upfront and when she would come back empty handed, we would politely remind her and it just seemed like we were a bother. Very disappointed in how we were treated considering this was a new location. I know Chuy's isn't a fancy restaurant but I still want to be treated properly. read more

Placed a to go order. Very easy to do, my order was brought to my car within a few minutes of my arriving. Smelled sooooo yummy. That's where it ends. I ordered cheese enchiladas with tex-mex sauce....the same thing I order every time I eat at Chuy's. Enchiladas should be rolled and what I was given was two tortillas with cheese folded in half and drowned in sauce. There was enough sauce for about 5 plates. Too bad they didn't put some in the bottom of the to go container before they heated them up because the bottom of the tortillas were dry and stuck to the bottom. The mass quantity of sauce left whatever you call these things so soggy (except for the stuck bottoms) that you could hardly eat them because all they would do was fall apart. I finally managed to get enough on a fork to get a bite and when I did I thought I was going to die. There was so much red pepper in the sauce that I threw up in the to go container and then proceeded to be sick all night. This sauce is supposed to be medium in heat but wasn't even close. Oh, and the bag of chips I received......half the bag was just crushed pieces. read more

Eh. It's good junky Mexican food if that's what you're into. The $7 guacamole is not worth it. It's mostly lettuce. I did like the handmade chips and tortillas. Overall, not worth the long wait read more

Chuys is amazing. This location is no different. Went on cinco de Mayo, they were packed, yet a waitress came and asked us in lobby if we wanted alcohol...yes please! Great atmosphere, friendly staff and great food. read more

Been a long time since eating at Chuy's last. The food has much improved. I have to say that the service was outstanding and atmosphere was great as well. read more

I gave this location five stars for many reasons. I arrived late in the evening around 9pm and it was very busy but got seated immediately for a party of two. For being busy, the restaurant was clean, efficient, well staffed and our food came out surprisingly fast (for as busy as it was), and the presentation of the food was well put together, hot and delicious!! I must mention my server Shay, who although had been there all day, was friendly, polite, professional, and fast!! GREAT SERVICE SHAY!! Thank you, Chuys's. Would take my mom here. read more

I love their roast chicken burritos with green tomatillo sauce... matter fact they are my favorite burrito, and with all the burrito options in Texas, that says a lot! read more

The food is ALWAYS outstanding!! They've got a great manager at this location that always does an amazing job at ensuring guest satisfaction. Most of their servers are phenomenal. The one bad one does, however, over compensate for all of the good ones. They are usually swamped, so I wish their parking lot was bigger without having to utilize neighboring lots, and I wish they were a bigger location. But the majority of their entire staff is super friendly, the food is consistently magnificent, and the bathrooms are *almost* always super clean. read more

Great food and super friendly staff! Will be back! Anna was our waitress and she was wonderful!

Love the food and ambiance. Service is great. Good family dining. We like to go their for happy hour.

Worst service ever. First they told us the wait was 15 minutes. Waited and waited so I asked them how much longer after sitting in the waiting area for 40 minutes and all they can say is that they're still waiting for a table to open. When we finally sat down we waited another 40 minutes to get our food. At this time anything that they would've served us will taste good because I was starving haha. Loaded up on chips and queso so can't really say the enchiladas were good. read more

Love the food it's great! A very busy place might have to wait before you get a table. But it's worth it. Can't get enough of this place I'm there almost every week:) you can't go worn with anything you try there. I highly recommend this place not only for amazing taste but also price are very reasonable.and staff is friendly too. read more

Writing to say how much I appreciate this location's willingness to work with our group! I took a high school field trip to this location on our way back home. We had called in, but we were about 20 minutes late getting there during the lunch rush. The staff was able to improvise, still got us seated and out in great time, and were courteous and amenable to everything our students needed. The food was top-notch as always (those Velvet Enchiladas...), but the staff was excellent under stress. Thanks very much. read more

I went to dinner at Chuy's last night to celebrate my son's birthday! Wait for a table was about 20 min for first available and we ended up at a cozy booth. Place was packed and very noisy. We each started with a margarita which was served with no garnish but both were ok. I had the frozen Mango with salt and he had the premium on the rocks. Tasty and basic. I ordered the option that allow you a salad plus choice of a soup, mini-burrito or enchilada. I chose the vegetarian mini-burrito and salad with honey mustard My son ordered the cheese enchilada plate. We enjoyed the chips and asked for green hatch Chile salsa which came out warm and spicy. Delish! We also asked for the creamy jalapeño salsa which is sooooo good! Our food came out quickly and fresh. He enjoyed his plate thoroughly. My mini-burrito looked like it was full sized and packed with beans, shredded zucchini and summer squash and topped with red sauce. So much food! Service was friendly and accommodating. We were so full we didn't have room for bday sopapillas but we plan to go back again! read more

The veggie enchilada I got here was inedible. So spicy I could not choke it down even with gulping 4 glasses of ice water. I gave it to my Mexican friend, Peter, but he couldn't eat it either and agreed it was the worst enchilada he'd ever tasted. I'd say it was basically filled with some scant vegetables, fire bomb chiles and spices. Hardly any sauce and just the most minute dusting of cheese on top. I'm not vegan, give me my cheese. Cheese is one of the reasons most people like Tex Mex. The tortilla was unpleasantly dry due to the lacking cheese and sauce. This restaurant, unlike the other Chuy's I've been to, draws a very distinct crowd. Think middle-aged dads out to dinner with their family wearing Slip Knot shirts and NRA caps. Must be the Cedar Park difference. I couldn't really focus on people watching though as my mouth was begging to be escorted to CP medical center across the street. Speaking of, the outside patio offers a nerve wracking, up close and personal view of interstate 183. Nothing goes with inedible food like noxious highway fumes! Ah, so is the price of suburban sprawl... Next time I'm up in the 365 plaza I'll be checking out Red Robin. Or even the burrito window at WF, it can't be worse. read more

Oh my God the queso, THE queso! I can never get past the queso! By the time the entrées there I'm usually so full of The golden liquid of nectar of the gods Then I have to face eating this huge plate of Mexican food afterwards. But I do it, I do it by God, it's not easy but I do it. Then the question is? Would you like dessert? Has anyone ever eaten a dessert from Chuy's? How could you possibly eat dessert after Chuy's? OK I confess I've done that too. I sure hope there's a Chuy's in the great Texas in the sky! read more

Very good service and very yummy and fast for when we wanted it and they did it on Fourth of July which was very good at them

Love that we can count on Chuy's for great tasting Mexican food close to home. Thanks for offering curbside pick-up, call ahead, and online orders as we have used all these services when we eat Chuy's at home. read more

I love Chuy's, but tonight they might have lost a very loyal customer. Why did you not anticipate the to go order volume on a Friday night during a quarantine?!? I've literally been waiting in the parking lot for an hour for a scheduled pick up. I'm sure my food will be ice cold. No instructions on line as to where to go when you get here or what to do. It's just show up and figure it out! Ridiculous!!!!!!! Oh...and don't bother trying to call to check on your order or cancel, no one will answer the phone! read more

If you love Tex-Mex, you have to try Chuy's. I was super excited when Chuy's opened its Cedar Park location. Unfortunately, it can be a little crowded sometimes, but that's just a testament to how awesome the place is. The Creamy Jalapeno Dip is very addictive, and I sometimes get a large container to go. Never had a bad experience at Chuy's other than the crowds. read more

I absolutely love Mexican food, and Chuy's by far had some of the best I've had. Almost as authentic as if little hispanic grammy was back there cooking! The sour cream enchiladas are to die for. And they have a big shin dig for Elvis' birthday!!! read more

On this trip I purchased the steak burrito with green Chile sauce. The burrito was fairly basic, meat and cheese only, with the steak having a good flavor. Though the burrito was only lukewarm by the time it got to me. The green Chile sauce that covered the burrito was the star of the show. Great flavor, solid amount of heat, I would drink a cup of it by itself. read more

Good mexican food... great margaritas... need more beer on tap... i like there queso..

Crazy busy, kept us stocked up on chips because dinner took a very long time to show up. Once it did the enchilada sauce was stuck to the plate...food was at best a D+. I'll be saying adios to this location. read more

I came in tonight for a birthday dinner. I used to be a server for years, and I know how tough a job it can be. I believe my servers name was David. I very rarely write Yelp reviews but this was the best restaurant service I have ever received. David (I really hope that is his name) was so attentive and truly went above and beyond. The restaurant was not slow, and we still were well taken care of. He is such an asset to your team, and I would come back any day and request David. He truly made our night. Thank you read more

So I finally decided to check out the newer chuys opened up in cedar park. Being that I love chuys, I thought it would be the same. Nope. The service was horrible. I purposely chose to wait to give them adjustment time, but yikes, they seemed clueless. The same dishes i order all the time was apparently not available for my allergy child. Then I tried to explain and was charged extra to have the cheese removed. Ummm that makes no sense. The food also was not at par. Just not as tasty. It's frustrating that I still need to drive further for better chuys. Hopefully they will continue to improve and I can go back again. Went back again! Why the crap did I torture myself. Everything was horrendous. I think our waiter was high! Got an inch from my face and stared at me before introducing himself. Then takes our drink order and never came back. 10min still no chips, he returns with just water and said he lost our order sheet. Uhh, you never wrote our drink order down and it was 2 drinks. Then our questions showed up before our chips!!! Hello?!?! Where is our freaking chips!!! He was High!!! No doubt. Later comes and asks if I like sopapillas. I said sure. He brings an order out to us....says it's bc it has been crazy. Check came and he disappeared again with no box to go. Waited more and finally able to end our nightmare of a late dinner. read more
