This was our first time going to a Chuy's, as we hadn't heard of this franchise before until moving to the Midwest. Service was unfortunately very poor. I think we were forgotten about several times, including an entree we had ordered to go and had to ask the hostess to find for us as our server never returned with it. Overall food was bland and mainly tasted of salt. The decor was very cute, I liked seeing all the pictures of dogs!

Tonight we meet friends at Chuys for dinner. It was a fun time with ice cold beers, Paloma's cocktails and their new, large Mexican Martini. I highly recommend both of the cocktails. The hot queso arrived quickly to our table. It was colorful and festive with small mounds of meat, salsa and green chilies peaking out of the golden, creamy queso dip. The dip was so fresh and flavorful as we devoured the queso with the phenomenal, crispy and light chips that were sturdy enough to dip. Not only did we snack on the queso but we topped off our entrees too. The creamy jalapenos sauce, fresh salsa and awesome hatch green chili sauce was devoured by the four of us. There are a wide selection of sauces to select from. Check out Happy Hour on week days, 3-6 p.m. for $5 Chips and Dips with several drink specials. I ordered my favorite entree, Chika-Chika Boom-Boom Enchiladas, with full-flavored roasted chicken and cheese topped with the boob-boom sauce. It was spicy and delicious. My husband ordered the spectacular Fajita Beef "Big As Yo' Face" Burrito. Most people could easily share this generously filled, savory burrito but in time my husband demolished it. Our friends ordered the large, fresh taco salad and she had the chicken burrito with hatch chili pepper sauce. They both loved their meals. All of us enjoyed the food, cocktails, atmosphere, colorful decor and the very comfortable covered patio. The highlight of the night was our server. The service was exceptional and he didn't miss a beat. From his outgoing personality, totally knowledgeable, warm welcome, drinks and re-fills arrived quickly with entrees following. I loved he removed used dishes quickly and never rushed us. Most of the entire menu can be picked up, including alcohol, with curbside pickup and delivery. I'm very interested in taking advantage of the Curbside Delivery and Pickup. They offer Family Meal Kits with Fajitas, Taco, and Enchiladas plus Nacho Kits. Alcohol can also be picked up. Pick up your favorite meal(s) or kits for dinner after work, or for the bookclub, girls night, card club, or a picnic in the park. Pop in!

First timers here. Dining room very spacious and clean; the parking lot was big. Felt the food was quite Americanized and a little bland to what I've had before but maybe that's good for those watching salt intake. Service was friendly. However, my husband was served the wrong entrée and the server later came back with the correct one. I believe my burrito bowl was missing the salsa (so ended up using the rest of the complementary salsa). There was nothing extra ordinary but also nothing terrible.

Such a fun and eclectically decorated spot! Came here after craving Mexican and so happy I did! The minute we walked in we were greeted and quickly seated. As I looked over the menu, our waitress quickly came with a bowl of hot chips and salsa. Yum! I decided on the veggie enchiladas with the boom-boom sauce and it was delicious. Spicy with just the right amount of heat! Overall fun experience and I will be back to try a drink as well next time!

We stopped in for lunch, our server Darcy, was kind and busy! The food was pretty good, I love the decorations inside - it gives a very bright and welcoming feel to the restaurant!

Tiffany our server was awesome! She brought me out a taste of there Tex-Mex Sauce which I'd have to be in the mood for plus add a lot of hot sauce. To me, it'd be when I'm in the mood for chili so I decided against the popular Tex-Mez cheese Enchiladas that my gf swears by & against Elvis entree that seems like a delish sampler. Live the salsa, lite chips & jalapeño ranch on my Taco Salad I ordered. The cilantro vinaigrette reminded me of a strange Thousand Island, not close to a vinaigrette which I ordered on the side. Instead, I went w/ Tiffany's suggestion of the jalapeño Ranch. I am not a good judge of spice cuz I live for spice so I'd say it is not hot, but you may think it is. None of what I ordered was hot even w/ hot sauce. Next time I will a sauce from the hot side to try. Ordered the chicken fajitas which came w/ all the fixens & was tasty. The Chicken Car Bon was not good at all. I'd never get it again or recommend it. I only gave four stars because I found a hard piece of bone or something in my ground beef Taco Salad. The beef was seasoned superbly, fresh lettuce & crispy lite tortilla strips all combined perfectly. Omit the tomato & guac. Excellent service & 5 star Texas Tini with stuffed jalapeño olives. Very nice area & easy to find.

    - Beef Burrito (split) 3/10 * split with someone and they put it on separate plates for us so that was nice. Food was garbage though - Queso 6/10 * queso is very mid but their chips are flawless. Thin, crispy, NOT greasy with the perfect amount of salt. I give those a 10

Driven by the former AppleBee's lots of times Today was the day to try Chuy's not to be confused with Cuy in Peru that is Guinea Pig. Decor is wild. Multiple tile patterns. Painting, photos, wooden fish ( although I didn't see fish on the menu ) photos of dogs in the bar area. I really liked the retro booths and kitchen tables and chairs. The menu. Cilantro is one ingredient in I'd say 90% of the items. I personally hate cilantro so I had a hard time figuring out what to eat. Even most of their signature sauces contain cilantro. Started with Chips and Queso. Server also brought out salsa and spicy ranch. The queso was pretty good. The salsa was very bright and fresh, the spicy ranch for me was the best. Entrees I got Taco Salad with seasoned ground beef. I removed the guacamole and tomato's and added the refried beans from my husbands dish. I used both queso and spicy ranch for my dressing. I would get the salad again. Husband got soft chicken tacos. He added the queso to his tacos as he ate them. He said they were good. Nothing Wowed us. Since most dishes contain cilantro I doubt we'd ever be back. Service was decent. Side note: The silverware envelopes had a Jewish Prayer, Catholic Prayer and Protestant Prayer printed on them. Take that for what you will.

I love Chuy's... but Chuy's via door dash was a huge disappointment. The picture speaks for itself.... All clumped together and not a lot of steak. They forgot the pico and jalapeños so it was pretty disapointing. I eat at the restaurant regularly and never have this issue. I hope it's just a to go/ door dash issue.

Companies that eventually no longer were microbreweries, adjusting their profile to fit the palate of the masses. How about we deviate from that approach? Be local, serve local. Taste profiles that don't exist solely in the figment of our imagination. I found a place like that today, not far from home. The night started great until we ordered food & drinks. The first thing was my friend ordered the lamb chop dinner and although she asked for WELL DONE it was red in the middle and her baked potato was hard as a brick and old. She thought it was mold on it but it was a lot of black spots. Then, They charged one friend $27 for a drink she did not order. They told my friend she had 2 drinks when she only had 1 drink. The manager (tall big bald head black man) came over and threw a $20 bill at her and told her she "not allowed to order shit else". My other friend ordered lamb chops and it took almost 2 hours for her to get her food. When she complained about it she found herself arguing with the server. Instead of the server apologizing and asking to make it right, she's arguing about who ordered first between all of us. Then my other friend ordered a catfish dinner TO GO. By now, it's 3.5 hours later and we all about to leave, her catfish dinner had not came out yet. When she asked about it to the female manager waved her hand at her & walked away as if she was lying. But in fact the server said she never put it in, I guess she had forgotten? Then last but not least I asked for some water before we left. The bartender said the manager said not to serve "us". I said, "No! He said her" (pointing to my friend). The bartender replied "no the whole table". WOW! It's 7 of us here and we all brought drinks & food, spent at least $350 and I can't get any water?! THATS CRAZY!!! But this what we get for trying to support our own kind (black people). Never again!!! I mean the drinks were good, the food was mid but the service is terrible!!! I was literally denied a cup of water after spending over $300 because they lied about my friend buying 2 drinks & didn't want to take it off our tab. We all work at the post office and we work hard for our money. We would not lie about a drink or an undercooked, spoiled dinner!! Parking is all shared with the neighboring stores/businesses but it is very large so no qualms about finding a good spot. I was surprised to have placed a food order for myself and my daughter around 12:45pm and my food was bagged and ready to go by 1:15pm - while I waited, I did partake in an alcohol slushy which was so delicious & well deserved haha. The kitchen staff that I came in contact with and the bartender (Jasmine, Ms. Gigi & Shamon (sp)) were all very sweet women and took their time answering all of my curious questions about the space as well as menu/drinks. Another fun fact I learned about this place is that it is BLACK OWNED!! The food quality was on point (no cheap ingredients) and it was still hot when I got home. Fried mushrooms are always a sports bar go to of mine & these lived up to my expectations, the catfish was juicy on the inside and perfectly fried on the outside- not one piece of the two large fillets were the seasonings compromised. My daughter LOVED her wings & we know how teenagers love chicken wings. She was also happy the red beans & rice weren't spicy like she's had in the past from other places. One last thing I'd like to mention is that I usually am annoyed that my to-go order didn't include proper utensils or sauces requested.... They did not shy away from giving me ample sauces & napkins (they were thick too)! All in all, AllStars gets 5 stars from me! I can't wait to go back but the next review for them will be of the nightlife, which I've seen people rave about on IG and I fear I have been missing out.
