Some of the best churros I have ever had. Not sure if the hours are accurate as the first time I went hours said he would be open but wasn't there, it was later in the day so maybe sold out. I went early in the day the second time and found him. Huge portions. $10 per bag and a bag is enough to share or not, they are that good. I've been hesitant to try to go with all the reviews saying how flaky he is being there on time. We got lucky on a weekday going late 12 something after lunch. He was there alone frying away. I looked at the oil and since it looks like he just finished frying the first churro, the oil was clean. It is $10 per bag. He takes zelle and cash. The churros we for just came out of the fryer right to a late of cinnamon sugar. There is no place to let the oil drip so it may look a bit greasy later in the bag. The churros are big, light, crispy, and the cinnamon sugar is a good balance. He was nice to give us paper towels while we ate them there. Bring your own chocolate sauce to kick it up a notch. Sorry to share this review, but I must because I want people to remember the risk we take with street vendors. Don't get me wrong, the churros are good! But.... they tore are stomachs up! Not sure if it was the oil used, but glad we have more than one bathroom. We even gave it a second go about 6 months later and same thing happened. Nothing beats fresh churros! The address is accurate on Yelp so just follow it to find a small stand on side walk. The churros are made to order so be prepared to wait a small bit if there's a line. I overheard the owner saying that if it's pouring, he doesn't come out but it was a light drizzle when I went so he was still out there. It's $7 for a bag and it's about half the large churro circles he makes so hopefully that gives some sort of reference? It's plenty worth. Seriously hands down the best churros we've had. We came here on a Wednesday evening after dinner, closer to 730pm. He was still there whipping up freshly fried churros. There was a line when we went but it went by pretty quickly. For $7 a bag, you get generous portions of fat and delicious pieces of churros! It was mesmerizing watching him load up the contraction with batter, squeeze it into the oil while hearing that sizzle/crackle, take it out and chop it up into pieces, then dripped into that delicious cinnamon sugar mixture. He was quick and effective in making these churros. I brought it home and the car smelt like heaven! That first bite, I was in awe, so crispy on the outside, so chewy in the middle (like a mochi texture), and that sugar seasoning. My goodness I haven't had churros this good in so long! We're not even fans of churros, but this is something I can eat nonstop. I craved this when I went to bed, so I woke up hungry and bit into that churro again next morning. It was a bit more soggy, but still delicious. I am definitely coming back here to buy another bag for the family. ITS THAT GOOD.
