Wow this really hit the spot for my taco cravings! I only tried the chicken tacos but the chicken was moist and perfectly seasoned. Tortillas were fresh and yummy. My friends also enjoyed their other tacos like Al pastor. Their rice was cooked perfectly and went perfectly with the tacos and toppings. They ask had a great selection of agua frescas. Jesse and his daughter (who were also super c served chicken, al pastor, and asada tacos and I had one of each! I went back a few times for seconds and thirds. I was bummed to find out that they don't have a brick and mortar location. You gotta catch them at an event or book them for an event to taste their food. I'll definitely be using them for my next event. They were the highlight of the day. Jesse even made a special vegetarian taco for my daughter even though that wasn't on the menu. We booked Jessie for a company team building event in Fremont on such a short notice and he was able to accommodate our request. We have about 40 plus people and everyone had an amazing time, food was AWESOME! They arrived early enough to set up and food was ready in no time. Sorry for the late review. I used Tita's in October, for my son's birthday/going away party ( Left for Marine boot camp:). They were great. Two stars because I never got to taste the food. Otherwise Jesse and Teresa were unprofessional and unfriendly. They are not receptive to questions about what is included, although the response time via text is good. The price is fair - I was quoted $700 for 50 people for 3 hours, including tacos and quesadillas, 4 kinds of meat, and aguas frescas. The problem is that after I paid the required 50% cash deposit, Teresa told me that btw she would be bringing her three kids (11, 7, and 9 months) with her onsite. I know I can't be the only one who objects, especially since I'm holding the party in my backyard instead of a park or other public venue. I tried to suggest kindly that they find a babysitter and she got offended. I immediately asked for my money back, which to her credit she obliged, but not without telling me that she didn't want to deal with my pettiness, I asked too many questions, and they had plenty of business anyway. It's possible that they make good food, but I'm so glad I ran the other way. It just felt too shady. As a side note I called Tacos Chuy, also in Union City, and the guy was super nice even though they were fully booked, and we ended up going with El Paisa Taco Truck. read more

These people seriously know how to cook.....all their family's "secret" recipes and techniques. While I've never had the pleasure yet of booking them for a party, I have been able to try their food at different functions! Literally every time I'm always trying to replicate something that was made because I couldn't get enough of it! Her teriyaki chicken was amazing, her rice is amazing, her salsa is bomb, and Jessie is great on the grill! Yes it's obvious now that I know them personally lol but real talk if I didn't love their food I wouldn't bother to write this review. I love grilling and they have both been to a few functions of mines where I've been able to site back and Jessie takes over, with no complaints from me. Honestly I love what they are doing and I love the food I've been able to have by them. I see she makes Puerto Rican rice which is MY FAVORITE, so I can't wait until I get to try it! They are great down to earth people, one review was upset that Teresa wanted to bring her kids, while I suppose I could understand, I also know they are big on family, and it's a FAMILY RUN small business.....soooo why not bring them! My husband and I involve our kids with our side businesses, better to teach them the American dream of working for themselves then to not, in my opinion.
