Really amazing pub Causal, nice patio, amazing food and service. Bee was my sever and went above and beyond. She even brought me sunscreen when I wa having an allergic reaction to the sun. She is a superb server and human. All the servers helped each other out which was awesome and a great team environment. I had the desert duo for dessert - yummmmm House Chardonnay which was surprisingly delicious. And green salad with salmon added. The salmon was meh but the salad was so yummy so it made up for it. read more

I love the food, it's like pub food. The service was good when I was there! Sat outside on the deck during the winter time and they provided heated seats! Super cool. Went back twice since then. Husband isn't a big fan of the place, but he isn't into that craft beer either. Our Third visit my in laws were still hungry after they left. I recommend nun on the run ! read more

As. I begin this review, I have just received a Persephone Dry Stout. All three in our party ordered it because we all love stouts. It's the only stout on the menu. It truly is "dry", as in BORING! We ordered burgers. I'm sure it'll be great. The hostess did her job. So far, that's about all I can say about our wait person. She is adequate. Oh. The burgers just arrived. Looks yummy. My beef burger was pretty good. Not great, but good. My friend had a Mushroom Burger. She says it was dry (like the beer). The wait person was nice enough to split it for us. So, the positives: lively atmosphere. We were able eat outside and watch the start of a beautiful Vancouver Island sunset on a 75 degree, beautiful evening. Negatives: nothing blew our socks off. No parking, except street and a parking lot that looks like it should be theirs, but it's not. If you come after 6:00, you'll probably get away with poaching a spot because the lot really belongs to the next door retail building who's shops we're mostly closed. I took a chance and hope I'll get out in time. If you eat on the deck like we did, you can keep a watch on your car and hope you can run faster than the tow truck driver if he/she shows up. read more

Getting home early is more on the agenda then working I sorta get it but when your supposed to be the pub be open! Nice patio. Interesting architecture. Good location. Not much else. Arrived at 6 pm. Lots of empty tables and chairs and lots of potential customers standing around. After waiting 20 minutes, we were told that the kitchen was 25 minutes behind and we would have to wait (standing on the steps) another 25 minutes. We asked if we could sit at one of the empty tables and order a beer. No, we could not. Why? Because the kitchen was behind with its orders.. Say what? We just wanted a beer on the deck, there were tables and chairs available and we had already been waiting 20 minutes. What does the kitchen have to do with it? We always try to stop in when we're in Comox. Seems to be very well run - always clean and vibrant with great food and service.

Great spot for beers and food here! Highly recommend checking this place out. Real good food, the poutine is great. The pulled pork sandwich and fries are also amazing. Can't wait to try this place again. read more

Gorgeous building, especially in summer. Parking not great so consider walking if possible. Staff always friendly and attentive. Great atmosphere. If you like cocktails, this place currently employs a bit of a young superstar (Frankie) who is too modest to describe himself as such but has more than just a knack with the bar chemistry. Beer menu is always interesting and does a great job of supporting local craft talent. Food is genuinely good and unpretentious although perhaps a little unadventurous and would benefit from a strong local seafood vibe (not easy or cheap though). A couple recent visits were good but not great. Good beer and mixed drinks and some good food it seems for everyone but me. The wings i had tonight - buffalo - were awful. They came quickly, to quickly as it turns out. The sauce was a mix of butter and hot sauce, done in house but a while ago as the butter and hotsauce had separated. The wings had minimal sauce on them because the separated butter ran off onto the bottom of the plate. I could not finish them. On the up side, my partner's calamari was really good. read more

Came here for the first time and really enjoyed my self. Tried a few different beers and nachos and everything was good. They have a nice patio and nice seating area for customers. They have a variety of beers to try out that change so worth a visit if your in the area. read more

I've been here a couple times and had 4 different wait staff. 3 out of 4 were outstanding and the 4th really wasn't that bad. Great patio! One server actually asked if we had a safe way home after one too many delicious pints. Their beer list is constantly changing and they update it on the "Untapped" app. Food is so so, but the location and great staff make it a fantastic place to go for a few drinks! Brand new. Sorting out their kitchen, but the burger, and the kale salad were PERFECT. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Their beer list is strong, they would benefit from having a house wine, since no one comes to a tap house for the wine. Maybe consider adding table snacks like Parmesan popcorn to keep people happy while waiting for food. I'll always come back here. It will only get better!! Excellent! read more

We were coming from nautical days and stopped in to opening day. Great atmosphere and pretty good for start up congrats.

Have been here multiple times since they opened in August. Waited in line a few times, but that's what I'd expect from such a great place - it's popular. The space is truly inspiring, and the food is wonderful. Our favourite go to's are the Filburger and the kale salad...and the wings to start :) I don't know what the acoustic complaints have been about, it's a vibrant, busy place, it should be a little noisy! We could carry on a conversation without yelling, and found the live music very easy to listen to. Love it, and will return with friends again and again. read more
