Ordered a Club sandwich but they added pork and no mayonnaise or bacon

The owner doesn't care about customer satisfaction. As a matter of fact, he only cared about himself. He got really hostile & aggressive when I showed him that once again, the person in the kitchen keeps messing up. This man raised his voice, shouted at me to leave & never come back & went as far & tell me I needed "God" & "to go to church with my awful vibes". All because I showed him the dry, depressing sandwich with a slab of ham & chicken breast. Instead of fixing the issue, he proceeds to get furious, filling the entire place with negativity & blames me. He really told me to just never come back instead of fixing this problem. No matter what, that is poor customer service skills, lack of compassion & poor work ethic. How do you start yelling at someone but blame who you're shouting at for being "negative"? I used to come here regularly to get my coffee with sugar but every time there is a mistake on their end, somehow it's my fault & I am the problem. They went as far as call me a "bad person" all because I wanted this problem to be fixed. Instead of blaming me, shifting blame & making personal stabs at a once loyal customer, maybe look at the person in the kitchen who continuously fucks up the order. I didn't order the sandwich to add on to this, it was someone dear & close to me. I went in for them & they blamed him but when I jumped in & didn't allow it, that's when they started attacking me. He had to pull me away because a lady grabbed me to tell me to get out. What is really rich is how the owner kept changing the story. He went from saying my friend ordered a "tostada" but he said "Yo le pedi el Pan de Pollo." Than it was changed to another story & each time I spoke, it reverted back to somehow it being all my fault. Okay. Well.... The prices are inaccurate, they are not open to constructive criticism, the owner can't handle mistake on his employees part, I won't say anything about the ladies because they actually were nice to, in particular a very young & beautiful Cuban lady & a very sweet & lovely short Hispanic woman with a sharp nose. They have always been kind to me. Telling me to go home & make it myself if I don't like it reflects poorly on not the owner but the business as a whole. They told me to never come back & if I did, I would be turned away because I am "terrible & bad person." It's okay. I'll never return. But the depressive, dry sandwiches will give continue giving this business a bad rep anyway. Just look at the image of the sandwich & let it speak for itself

We were in town, staying at a nearby hotel and found this great bakery that opened at 6:00am. We went in the morning to get a Cafe con Leche and some other goodies. The Cafe con Leche was delicious and only $2.80 for a large- can't beat that price. Actually everything we ordered was priced very fair. We ordered some Pastelitos- Guayaba (Guava) and Guayaba y Queso (Guava & Cream Cheese). Also ordered some Carne (Ground Beef) Empanadas and Papas Rellenas. Everything was so good- we ended up going back the next morning! We basically got the same items and also some Croquetas Jamon. I noticed the Freshly Squeezed Orange Juice is a hit. They were squeezing the oranges while we were there and they were selling quick. The employees are super friendly and happy to answer any questions. Upbeat atmosphere, you can tell they have regulars but are welcoming to all. It was busy both mornings we went, but the employees have a sense of urgency so the line goes real quick. A couple seats inside as well as a few tables outside but mainly people were getting food to go. I wish I had a place like this at home- open early, good food and drink at great prices, and friendly service.

Always a pleasure to get some "home cooked" Cuban food along with all the Cuban treats we all love! Lunch specials are amazing, great prices and I love that they offer cantina. Fantastic customer service as well.

We have been coming here since it was Tati's and we loved it. When they took over we were not too happy with the quality of the food. They have definitely stepped it up. The people are friendly and the food is fresh. Really enjoy the croquetas, pastelitos, tostada and cafe con leche. They are way better than Vicky Bakery. If you haven't tried them, you should. They have the best guava and cheese pastelitos. read more

I'm giving this establishment 1 star because if I could give 0 I would!!!! I've been going here for years when it was "Tati's bakery". It was simply delicious. The croquetas were ALWAYS so fresh. All the food was fresh and good. Now that it's Chuli's bakery, they don't give a flying fuck if they give you 2 day old food. There was a man once there every morning. He took care of me and made my croquetas fresh but now that he's gone, one of the ladies at front refuses to give me the service this paying customer deserves. I used to go there every morning but I will not return. It's a waste of money when the pastries are not fresh. I literally throw it away because that's where it belongs, the trash. Don't waste your money going here. *edit*....... So recently my schedule has changed. I've been going in for coffee and a few croquettes because it's close to my house and usually very quick. The freshness of the croquettes are much better than before. (Sometimes) Right when I walk in, the lady up front (she calls herself the owner but I can't believe it) decided to Call me out about my review above. How UNPROFESSIONAL!!!! How can you call yourself the owner of an establishment but get upset when people have critiques? She was getting frustrated when talking to me because her English is not very good AT ALL. Not my fault we are in America, and I only speak English. I will continue to visit chili's bakery as I please. Good review or bad, I still have the right to be served. I use to come to this spot when it was Tatis Bakery but now that it's Chulis it's just sloppy. Won't come here ever again. People are inefficient at processing orders you'll be there forever for something that takes a minute. The food quality is stale and flavorless. If you want good bakery food there is a Vicky Bakery nearby that never disappoints. read more

I have ordered the catina here for the past two weeks. First week went great although this week, I received extremely rude customer service. Monday I made it before 4 and I heard the lady running the bakery talking about me in the back. She then proceeded to get upset with me because I made it there late, when on the door it says they close at 5:30 and on google it says 4, so first, please fix your hours. Then I came to pick up my food once again, I walk in the door and the same lady says "this girl has been driving me crazy" in Spanish. Mind you, the only thing I have done is paid for the cantina for the week and picked it up. I barely have talked to this lady so I'm not sure what her deal was with me. Not sure if she knows I understand Spanish but it is extremely sad to deal with rude people like this. Food is great but due to this experience I will not plan on ever coming back. read more

We (myself and staff) from a local business, come here almost everyday, today we had ordered a large amount of colombian empanadas and coffee as usual, we called to notified the staff that they were not fried properly and was just a mess. The girls ask us to come in to get a refund and was very apologetic. When we when to get the refund the manager/boss was so rude, telling us he was not going to give a refund and didn't care to lose us as a customer since he had plenty more. I can't believe the respond and lack of care of this man!!! Well mister we will take our business and loyalty where will be welcome. read more

I popped in here on a whim this past Saturday and I have found myself back here every day since! The pastries and coffee are fantastic, the prices are more than reasonable and the gals who are behind the counter when I've come in are extremely friendly and welcoming. One of the best in the Miami/South Broward. My hubby who's a bakery freak loves to go this place every time we are in the area. I highly recommended, just be prepared to wait a few minutes as the place is very small and patrons love it. read more

Walked in to bakery and ordered a cafe con leche. The lady told me sorry but we close at 4pm. I mentioned the door said 6am - 5pm and she said sorry. I walked out, looked at my watch and walked back in and mentioned it was only 3:47 pm. She said sorry, no, we're closed. Not sure how you run a business with wrong hours and turning customers away. I would love to give this place atleast 4 stars but I just can't. You call ahead to have fresh pastellitos and you still get stale day old pastellitos that are not fresh at all. Out of about 4 times that we have ordered pastellitos with meat 3 times it was just not fresh at all. I spoke with the owner one day and he made sure I had fresh ones because I had made a complaint about the batch I had received earlier. Besides that time they weren't fresh at all. I came here today to eat breakfast with my fiancé and it was wonderful! Everybody who works here is so friendly and sweet I love it! You can tell the food is freshly made everyday the pastelitos are to die for and the croquettas. I would recommend this place to anybody. It's extremely clean as well the eggs, bread, and coffee is amazing. I'm for sure making the drive to this bakery it's worth it! The prices are reasonable considering the quality of the food. 10/10 a must go too. read more

The pastelitos were delicious (they brought back the square guava and cheese pastelitos Tati graciously introduced to West Miramar years ago!) the croquetas were fresh, the cafe con leche was perfect. read more

Giving the food a 4 because it is delicious! It is seasoned true to the Cuban flavors I grew up with and everything from the croquetas, to the sandwiches are yummy. However, with the new regulations due to Covid, making sure EVERYONE who enters the place wears a mask, should be mandatory. Just because the owner knows the guy who comes in, doesn't mean he should allow this customer to sit inside, eat a pastelito, carry on a conversation, all without a mask! I was grossed out, concerned and for now will not be returning. Rules are for everyone's safety during this pandemic, owner put everyone at risk by letting this customer stay inside without a mask. read more

I am all down for supporting local small businesses, but this place took 25 minutes to "half cook" some Catalina croquettes that were frozen in the middle. The service is spectacular and the meal tasted great, but they forgot about my order and the croquettes were unacceptable. read more

When the pastries are fresh, they're to die for. Unfortunately, as other customers noted, you never know when the ones they give you are fresh or not. They don't care, they just give you whatever is there. They should at least tell people when something is made. No bakery wants a reputation for serving day-old food and charging the same price as fresh. read more

It was PACKED and stuffy in there but the staff were all working really fast and got the orders out quickly. There's also barely any seating in there so don't plan to eat inside. Even for the seating that there was, you'd be surrounded by the people waiting in line. I would maybe come back for another croissant but definitely not for the drinks.

I think it would've been nice if it melted in the cup as well, but it just cracks and then you have to pick out the chocolate pieces from the cup if you want to eat it, else it kinda just sits there as full size chocolate pieces. The chocolate itself was also very mid. Not something I'd even buy in a grocery store. Wouldn't say the crackling chocolate cup is worth it other than for an instagram picture, but the food is amazing.

The man who works in the front taking most of the orders. Is probably the rudest person I've ever encountered in my entire life. Not only have I heard him make a comment to a customer about how he is cheap for not leaving his change as tip. I have also heard him say racial slurs about certain people who don't wipe the table top clean when there are done eating. I wouldn't recommend this place to ANYONE for the customer service from this one individual can make anyone drive another mile to find another bakery. read more

Good cuban lunchs for $7! And so big you'll have leftovers, so you eat delicious and a lot for very cheap. The bakery is also quite good, the pastries of guava and cream cheese and the cold guarapo are worth trying. read more
