In the beginning it was fine. We knew we came late at 8 and they close at 10. They sat us down quickly but later our waitress came back very often to ask if we knew what we wanted and needed to hurry because the kitchen was closing. They weren't kicking us out but rushing us. When our friends got there, she was like you have 10 minutes to add in your order the chef is leaving. Since we only really got dessert, it was good. But the service was not.

Chicken a la plancha, moros and yuca

I came here on Saturday. The service was fast. The food was OK. I have had better cuban food. The yuca was missing the mojo with garlic . It was plain. The moros was lacking taste and chicken was a bit dry.

I met with a few colleagues who decided to eat at this restaurant. It's quite a large restaurant with a bar and plenty of seating inside and outdoor. There were plenty of staff throughout and our waitress was very nice and great at what she does. I ordered the fried chicken chunks which was recommended to me and a popular order on their menu. I ordered it exactly as pictured on the menu. It came without the onions. The chicken was crispy and tender. The plantains were also crispy. The rice was ok. I do wish the Cuban Mojo and Onions were added to my plate as it should've been.

It's a good location with lots of parking. We went for lunch during the weekend and it was pretty empty. As soon as I walked in I noticed how nice the inside looks. The fans on the ceilings are beautiful. Very clean floors and bathroom. We ordered ropa vieja and masitas de puerco. I do think both dishes were missing some flavor, but the bread they bring out while waiting for your food is delicious. We also ordered mariquitas, which were not bad. The waiter could have been more attentive, but the service was fast and the food came out quick! I would come back again and try a different dish.

Sanitation. I found a roach in my pan con lechón! It was in the middle of the sandwich along with a piece of pork.

Vaca Frita with Moros Rice and Plaintains

La Carreta is a great choice if you are looking for authentic, affordable and quick Cuban food in the area! They have a huge spacious indoor seating room with a bar as well. They also have an outdoor patio window for ordering Cuban coffee and light bites open throughout the day. La Carreta is such a great lunch spot as it has a huge menu with a ton of daily specials. My favorite dish by far is the Vaca Frita (marinated and fried pieces of beef) and you get two sides!! My go-to sides are usually Moros Rice (white rice mixed with pork and black beans) and sweet Plaintains! However, you can't go wrong with any of their sides especially the green Plaintains, yuca, or even the fries. The portions are huge for the price and the Vaca Frita is cooked to perfection! It's perfectly seasoned with a ton of cooked onions mixed throughout. If you are in Miramar and debating what Cuban spot to try, you must give La Carreta a try as you will not be disappointed

The best Cuban food in the area. The vaca frita de pollo is amazing. Service has always been great.

Excellent service, clean , friendly staff . The food came out quick and was delicious. I ordered the palomilla steak with white rice, black beans, tostones for dinner. For dessert I got the flan de caramelo with an espresso. Everything was delicious well seasoned and cooked to my liking. If you're looking for good Cuban food, I suggest coming here .

I love not expecting the best when visiting a new spot, and then being pleasantly surprised…read more Chuli's has been around for a while but I thought they just sold breakfast items, like pastries, coffee, etc. To my surprise, once I visited, I realized they offer much more. Things like, papaya shakes, steak sandwiches, lunch specials, like chicken, rice, and plantains, and much more. What's even better yet is the prices on some of these items. I ordered the chicken lunch special that came with a full breast of chicken, white rice and black beans and plantains for $12. Where can you find real food that's not junk for this price? The food was so good. Freshly made and tasty. I've also ordered other items like the steak sandwich, empanadas, croquetas , café con leche, etc., and everything was really good. I didn't know they were open for breakfast and lunch so I've been missing out all this time. The service was quick and friendly, which is always appreciated. They are a neighborhood Latin bakery/restaurant that serves freshly made food and drinks. The restaurant was clean and organized with a mom & pop feel. They are in a shopping Plaza on Miramar Parkway just west of Dykes Road in West Miramar. There's plenty of parking since they are located in a shopping plaza. I highly recommend checking them out for yourself.

I ordered several pastelitos (pastries) to go. I picked a few up to take back to Orlando. They offer mixed trays ready to go. I also ordered a large cafe con leche (milk with coffee). I loved the freshness of the food and the great prices. Great bakeries can have amazing food and not be over priced like this one. I still have hope Orlando will have one soon.

This feels like a classic Little Havana place with great food and a great atmosphere, but…read moredefinitely make a reservation!! If not, you will have to wait in a pretty long line. I was actually running extremely late to the reservation time but they still honored it and my friend was seated immediately. When I arrived, I was famished so we ordered a bit of everything to start - the vitrola. It's their Cuban appetizer sampler with empanadas, plantain chips, croquettes, and others. It is a great way to try a bunch of items. My friend and I also ordered the ropa vieja and the Cuban sandwich to share. The ropa vieja is life changing - order it, you will not be disappointed. So flavorful and tender! The cuban sandwich was also really good, but a bit cheesier than others I have had. There was a ton of live music happening in both the front and the back of the restaurant. It is a very lively, fun place. The only downside is because it is so busy, the service is a little on the slower side but honestly who cares. You are there for the food and vibes and have nothing to do!

Every restaurant is uniquely decorated and fill with the Miami vibes. Mojitos and cortados are available throughout the day. Old Havana is that type of place. The service is top notch. Our waiter was Gypsia, and she was lovely, attentive and funny! The food was delicious. I highly recommend it!
