We really liked their decor. The service was also pleasant. We were disappointed in the fish croquettes. My cuban frita was lukewarm and dry. My husband had a fried snapper. This was the best dish out of everything , however he was disappointed in that as well. He said the fish was not seasoned very well and he had to keep adding salt. My husband is Cuban and was not impressed with the food.

Great place. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The food is great too. They're known for their Cuban pizza but have a wide variety. I loved the Churrasco with fried sweet potato pieces on the side. They also have a variety of fresh juices and shakes. Don't skip on dessert - the flan and arroz con leche are delicious. The restaurant was very lively on a Friday night and we had a great time.

Food always excellent. Service always excellent. Ambiance very South Florida style. If you go and don't like it, you have a problem. Our recent server, Daniela P, was very courteous and polite. Our favorite bartender, tall with beard, always on point with the Mojitos. Highly recommend!!

Polo Norte is a great choice if you're looking for good cuban food and a bit of italian mix. We had lunch there first time. Servers were friendly and explained the lunch specials. We had ham croquetas so good the smoked ham. Pretty nice size croquetas too! We had shrimp pizza, beef stew with sweet potato bites and sweet plantains, steak sandwich, chicken soup, palomilla steak and sweet potato. The food was excellent specially the palomilla steak was thick, tender and juicy. Worth every penny. The beef stew was a bit cold but still tasty. The food came out really fast. Overall nice lunch great prices for the portions. Restaurant bar casual vibe nice decor. Definitely we'll be back for another lunch.

I always order the churrasco and it is always cooked to perfection! The guava and cheese pizza is a delicious treat when you're being bad . Their lychee martinis and el espresso martini are really good! Their old fashioned is bomb. Any choice on their menu is good! Service is awesome! They have accommodated me with large parties many times without any issues.

Always a great time here. The ambiance is amazing with the sitting outdoors. The food is delicious and the service is excellent. I always get the chicken Caesar salad because it's perfect!! My husband loves the vaca frita.

It's great value Cuban food where you get huge portions for great price. We like coming here with a big group of friends and sharing food. My husband loves their churrasco steak. I usually order one of their sandwiches and you cannot go wrong with Cubans sandwich. I also tried their shrimp and they were pretty good. I love their deserts and my favorite is flan de leche. Also must try the plantain pizza, as weird as it might sound.

I love visiting my hometown and going to one of my favorite restaurants!! The type of food is Latin American, Cuban way. The bistec a la Milanesa was delicious, but truly i have more than half of the things on the menu and so far nothing has seemed to fail me! Although I will say, my parents ordered a cuban style pizza and were not a fan of it. I did not try so I cannot confirm if it's true lol. For the times we've been there through my childhood till now, we have not had any bad experiences due to the service or food. The place is at a cute little plaza, its nice to either sit inside or outside!(depending on FL weather )

This is practically a weekly go-to spot. Their pizzas are delicious and so filling. Lots of interesting types to pick from, and they even have a dessert pizza. Their traditional Cuban plates like the boniato relleno de tasajo is filled with some super savory meat and is incredibly filling. Love the variety and don't forget to try their ice cream with classic Cuban flavors!

    Vaca frita de pollo

Polo Norte is the ultimate Cuban restaurant. The vaca frita de pollo is so crispy and flavorful. The portion sizes are generous--enough to make you question your life choices when you inevitably finish it all. Prices are very reasonable and the service was great for our large table. They even have pizza for those who are feeling adventurous. Because who doesn't want a slice of pizza with their black beans? If you're in South Florida, hit up Polo Norte--you won't regret it!

Best "tremendo old fashioned". It's legitimately the best old fashioned I've tried, you wouldn't expect that from a cuban restaurant. The food has never failed us here either. The antojitos app is great and their pizza with garlic rolls are fenomenal. The server we have had the last 2 times was a total sweetheart and great. She was also the hostess. Highly recommend this location.

Both had cilantro aioli but that did little make either of them tasty. While the short rib meat was tender, it was boring and flavorless. The Churassco was super fatty and chewy, if there was onion jam on the sliders, well I couldn't tell. The atmosphere is chill and the outdoor seating does have greenery that provides a bit of privacy for the patio seating, but I was underwhelmed. Service was nonexistent and food was bland.

I was completely sober because I don't drink, so I was fully aware of everything happening around us. The treatment we received was extremely unprofessional. At approximately 1:57 AM, we witnessed the bartender kissing a girl over the bar, and around 2:11 AM, they were still being very physical and all over each other while working. We also witnessed that same bartender taking sips from drinks using the straw method, which was concerning to see while drinks were being prepared and served. We were also told that every single person at the table had to order a drink or we would have to leave, even though the other five people in my party had already ordered. I don't drink alcohol, but I felt pressured into ordering something anyway because I didn't want to ruin my birthday celebration or my friends' experience. What made the situation even more disrespectful was when we simply asked for cups of ice water, and the bartender made a sly comment saying, "you guys are drunk." Asking for water should never result in a sarcastic or judgmental comment from a bartender. I especially found it inappropriate considering I was completely sober. The waiter's attitude was also rude and unwelcoming. For a place that automatically adds 22% gratuity, I would expect professional and respectful service. Instead, we felt pressured to spend money while receiving poor service and unnecessary comments from the staff. This was supposed to be a fun birthday celebration, but the way we were treated left a terrible impression. There are plenty of other speakeasies where customers can spend their money and actually feel welcomed and respected. After this experience, I would rather take my business somewhere else.

It's a smallish restaurant but they also have seating outside. From what I understand they do have an area for private parties. We were seated and given our menus and told about the house specials. I ordered the taglioline cacio e pepe and my husband got the fettuccine meatballs. All the pastas in the restaurant are homemade and the one I ordered was prepared table side in a cheese wheel. I don't even know where to start except to say that this was so delicious and definitely one of the best Italian dishes I've ever had. The cheese sauce was so creamy and there was a slight taste of truffle in there. They ask you if you'd like pepper in it so I had them add a little bit to cut out some of the creaminess of the sauce. My husband's fettuccine was equally as delicious and I loved the meatballs and I'm usually not a person who likes restaurant made meatballs because I think mine are the best! For dessert we split a slice of tiramisu and it was very good. Sangria was very good as well. Mimmo, the owner and chef came over to say hello and to make sure we were enjoying our food and service. It was really nice chatting with him and I told him that we are definitely going to be repeat customers! Love the Italian Meatballs. It was perfect sizing, tender, flavorful in a rich, tomato sauce. Perfectly seasoned and comforting. The Burrata & Prosciutto so worth having! The burrata was creamy, and perfectly balanced by the salty, paper-thin slices of prosciutto. It's like it melted in my mouth. For the main, we ordered two traditional pasta dishes that absolutely delivered: Cacio e Pepe which was served tableside in a parmesan wheel. The bolognese a combination of pomodoro, pork and beef - meaty, and full of flavor with a little hint of sweetness from the tomatoes. It was comforting and so satisfying. I'm not a big tomato girl--usually get heartburn--but everything was so fresh and balanced that I felt great afterward. That says a lot! You know dessert was a must! I tried the tiramisu - Light, creamy, and not overly sweet. A well-balanced classic. Omg the Caramel Cheesecake is a must! Kind of a silky texture from the Carmel but decadent just the same - divine.
