Although the wait is kind of longer than expected the food is sooooo yummy! Worth it if you want some yummy comida colombiana. I love trying for from other countries.

Disappointed and sad. Came back to one of our most favorite place to eat and deeply disappointed. I'm not sure if it's the short staff, new management or new cook. It was chaotic. The employees looked miserable, upset and if no one knew what they were doing. Some even broke out in a little argument. I'm so sad. The food has definitely changed. Not the quality we were use to. Prices definitely higher. My husband's food came way before our appetizer. Appetizer finally came and we were shocked. Our mini picada was filled with like little cut hotdogs barely any Colombian sausages. The Chicharrón looked old and reheated. Literally hard like a rock. The breaded pork loin had more breadcrumbs than meat. My soup finally came and it was decent but I order an avocado with my soup and my husband and I were like is this a joke. The avocado was so small and half of one lol. The take out line was crazy ridiculous. It overflowed in the middle of people eating. The customers in the line were getting upset and the customers eating in were geoupset. I'm sorry to report we will not be coming back here. Truly sad.

I've been coming here for two years. My boyfriend loves the food but we've had bad experiences in the past. The past three months, I think the service has gotten better and the restaurant in overall is really good!

When I am craving Colombian food I don't think twice this our place to eat excellent and delicious authentic Colombian food. The service is good when is not to busy but in the rush hours no the best but always with the food I forget about that. The ribs soup you need to go early because they run out fast with this dish because they made it everyday. The tamal is so delicious inside come with chicken and pork. Really something that I enjoy to eat. And ask for the refajo. This drink is made it with two beers and a soft drink called it Colombiana. We recommend this place 100%.

The restaurant gives you the atmosphere of a Colombian bakery/restaurant very very typical. The food is good, no complaints, I've tried their appetizers and they are very delicious, Empanadas is the most common, I tried their breakfast menu with calentado (rice and beans) and grilled steak! very good. From a Colombian place I will believe their coffee will be a signature, unfortunately the restaurant doesn't offer a a flavorful cup of coffee, not a great presentation about it since they gave it to me in a Styrofoam cup. They also offer catering service so you can pay in advance for a weeks worth of food and you will pick it up daily if you don't want to cook, I find that very convenient but I live far.

    Authentic Colombian food. Family atmosphere.

I have been coming here for what seems eternity. If you are looking for authentic Colombian food in a family setting this is a place to try. They have the Bandeja Paisa that consists of steak, rice, red beans, mini arepa, fried egg, fried pork rind and can be ordered with a mini chorizo and avocado. One dish that looks nice is the whole Fried Snapper among other choices. You can also get their authentic soda "Colombiana". One of my favorite sides is arroz con coco " coconut rice" it has a nice aroma and flavor. They also have a cantina service. For $30.00 a week, last time I checked, you can get meals from Monday thru Friday but you have to pick them up. I haven't tried them but did here they are good. This place is always full so if you order to go, give yourself time. I have waited between 45 to 60 minutes for my take out order. You can call ahead or wait patiently.

    Babdeja Paisa!

I was in search of authentic Colombian food so I dropped into Rico Pan. I ordered a bandeja paisa which is a typical Colombian dish. The portions are plentiful so come on an empty stomach. The fried plantains are a little different from the Cuban style plantains that are usually more ripe and burnt on the edges. However being Cuban I have a penchant for Cuban style cooking - my opinions on fried plantains are therefore biased. Nonetheless, everything fried to me tastes great, you will enjoy the plantains and everything else on the plate. The babdeja also comes with a fried egg served on a bed of rice accompanied with meats. The pork belly was scrumptious and juicy. The steaks are always cooked "well done" for this type of plate so it will inevitably be a little drier but also crispier and seared on the outside. My GF satiated her sweet tooth by ordering a sweet arepa with cheese, this was savory and probably the best thing we tried on the table. She also ordered a mango milkshake, which I honestly wouldn't go out of your way to order. There was a review on here about the place being "dirty" which I would like to address. I did not get this vibe at all. The utensils and plates were clean, the service was very attentive and fast. I have no complaints, definitely a place I would consider coming back to and try other common Colombian dishes and cuisine.

Came to drink some Sancocho de res since it was a rainy afternoon with the hubby and I was not in the mood to cook dinner especially after work lol. The service was a little slow today not sure if it was due to call in orders or it was Sunday so it took 5 mins for someone to come to the table and greet us that was the first time I experienced a delayed greeting from the staff they tend to be very attentive, anywho we submitted our orders and to my luck they ran out of sancocho however they had the broth to offer so I decided to go for it as I was craving the soup plus it's loaded with vitamins and one broth right?. I also ordered two empanadas de pollo to share and a bandeja paisa, my husband commented to me that I ordered with my eyes but if he only knew l hadn't eaten lunch and it was already 6:30 so I snapped back at him and told him I'm hungry! Lol The speed of the food is very rapid ate the broth which was delish, the empanadas were made fresh to order which were savory i ate half of one and the hubby ate the rest and then la bandeja páisa came out! The steak was perfectly cooked as I ordered it medium rare and the chicharrón crunchy and delightfu. Ihad no complaints on my end and the hubbys good was perfect, our waitress was very attentive to us and overall was a delicious Sunday dinner. Come check them out and call ahead to confirm there's sancocho before you make the trip out here.

Fortunately, a coworker pointed me toward Latin American Grill in Miami Lakes, just a few minutes from our hotel. It turned out to be exactly the sendoff I was hoping for. We started with the Sopa de Pollo, a bowl that made it immediately clear this kitchen isn't interested in shortcuts. Large chunks of chicken, tender vegetables, and noodles floated in a broth with remarkable depth. It wasn't simply chicken soup, it was the kind of soup that makes you wonder why every other version tastes so timid. A squeeze of fresh lime added just enough brightness to wake up every spoonful without distracting from the richness of the broth. Then came the reason for the visit. The Medianoche. I've always preferred the sweeter cousin of the traditional Cuban sandwich, and Latin American Grill makes a terrific one. Thick slices of ham and juicy mojo pork were layered with Swiss cheese, mustard, and pickles before being pressed between soft, sweet bread until the outside turned beautifully crisp. Every ingredient had a purpose. The pork brought richness, the ham added salt, the mustard and pickles cut through the fat with welcome acidity, and the sweet bread tied everything together. It's one of those sandwiches that reminds you how satisfying simplicity can be when every component is done well. Sometimes the best restaurant recommendations don't come from guidebooks or social media. They come from someone who simply says, "You should eat here." In this case, they were absolutely right. A great Cuban sandwich doesn't need reinvention. It just needs great ingredients, careful execution, and a hot press. Latin American Grill delivers all three.
