Lily the manager came up to me and she was super sweet and attentive. I brought my dog with my family and the Lilly the manager played with my dog and offered to give him ham. I ordered the fried cheese as an appetizer and it was pretty good. For entree, I ordered the filet of fish with garlic and olive oil and I really didn't like it, it was wayy too saucy and it had a weird smell. I ordered a crema Catalana for dessert and it was pretty good. Tuisa was our server and she was super sweet and on point. Although the service was exceptional the food was ok. What a dissapointment! The service was very slow and our chicken soup was lukewarm. We also ordered a cuban sandwich and a chicken sandwich. The French fries that came with the sandwich were cold and hard. The Cuban sandwich was greasy, lukewarm, with hardly any ham inside. The pork was just greasy pieces of pork. I never had a bad experience at this location before but I hadn't been here in years. I am not sure if it is the management of the staff tonight just don't care. See the picture of what my media noches look like One side is cold bread and the other side is charred to a crisp and not in a good way. The ham tastes like burned wax paper and the cheese is not even melted. It is unbelievable that they would serve this. It was to go so I didn't find out until it was too late and I was home. I hope by seeing this, management takes a look at its problem and are able to get this place under control to serve a quality product like I remember it used to be. read more

We ordered through ubereats and ordered a large chicken soup, large caldo gallego, fried yuca, grilled chicken breast with a salad and tostones, croqueta preparada, tostones rellenos with shrimp and tostones rellenos with ropa vieja. Some things unfortunately did not make it to get photographed because we couldn't wait. I was able to take some photos of the remaining food and it looks messy because we were enjoying it. Everything was so delicious and everything tasted homemade like abuela made it. I don't think we have eaten here previously but I can tell you that we will order from here again and eat in. I tried placing an order over the phone yesterday and someone rudely hung up the phone without me having the chance to speak. So I ended up placing the order online (which was pretty easy ) thinking it would be faster. I got a confirmation showing that the order would be ready by 11:41. I literally got there at 11:42 . I had to wait an additional 15 minutes. The lady didn't seem to know where my food was and she had go wait on a manager to find it I guess. I ordered the large chickens soup and a Croqueta Preparada. The soup was lacking chicken but the favor wasn't bad . The sandwich wasn't bad but a little more toasted would have been better . However the customer service is horrible. read more

Got an order to go for the family. Everything we ordered was cooked great and tasted really good! We had the chicharrón de pollo, pechuga de pollo a la plancha and a pan con lechón. the portions were big. The sides were also great, even the fries and tostones were crispy even after being placed in the to go container. I must say the to go containers are of very good quality. Prices are good too. Definitely a restaurant you can come any day. My only critique is that the lady at the ventanita could have been a bit nicer to some patrons. She wasn't necessarily rude but she didn't have patience, especially for an older lady that was placing an order and was asking her some questions about some items. I will order from them again and will probably give them a try to eat inside the restaurant. read more

I have been coming here for four years now...and it is always consistently decent. There is not a half a star ..if there was I would give a 3.5 They are always friendly and recognise us when we come in which is really sweet. My husband is Cuban and always comes for their fried red snapper. We come a few times a year and it never disappoints us. read more

The water bottle they carry is not my preferred water, so I will not drink it. They serve small glasses of water and will not refill, I have never heard of this before. I have been in the restaurant industry for 20 years and I am currently a restaurant manager and we refill guests water as much as they would like. So they lost a long time customer and I have many friends that stopped coming for their petty changes as well... We've been going here on and off for years. Sadly seeing it deteriorate in service and quality of food. Today was the breaking point. We will no longer come here. Ordered a Mamey shake and it tasted like water with a bit of Mamey. I returned it and ask for another one. It went from water down to completely frozen. I gave up. This should of been a sign for what was to come. Ordered a Vaca frita sandwich, Cuban sandwich and coquette sandwich just coquette with lettuce and tomatoes. Again just coquette. All the sandwich breads tasted extremely stale. The vaca frita sandwich had absolutely no sazon/flavor. My coquette sandwich had pork in it which I only asked for coquette and about 20 pickles. I have lived in Miami my whole life. I have never I mean never had a coquette sandwich like this in my life. Disgusting! We informed the manager and thank God she voided our entire bill. Almost $50 for a water down/frozen shake, stale Cuban bread, no flavor and a sandwich I never asked for. Times are definitely changing in cost and quality of food. I'm truly sad.
