Took my 4 year old here on a Monday for her birthday. The host was very nice, knowledgeable and helped me a lot with the package I wanted to order. I was disappointed because it was not how it was when I was younger. With the mascots, the stage and band. They have a dance floor. Less things to do. Great Chuck E. Cheese. Was in town and found this one and I'm so happy we did. Service was great, they had a lot of different games we don't have in our usual one and the pizza was sooooo tasty. This one also had a dance floor with lights on it which was pretty cool- and it seemed to be a lot bigger then the one we usually go to. If I'm in the area again- I will definitely bring my daughter back. read more

Staff was very friendly and helpful but games cost so much money and each game has small ticket amounts given as a prize however prizes to cash in tickets have very high value amount. Spend over $100 for kids to play games and left with a little bouncy ball and tootsie rolls. Plus, there is no entertainment or performance like there use to be. read more

celebrated my daughters 3rd birthday there yesterday ( 2/11/24) we expected more from the staff. The guy that was in the Chuck e cheese costume wasnt happy or did his role correctly. He barely moved or dance with the kids. He would stand there like "". The host was alright wasnt really that happy to be there either. I expected a lot more enthusiasm when it comes to hosting the parties since its supposed to be a kids place. Staff shouldnt work at a kids place if there not gonna be enthusiastic. I was a customer at your York Pa store 04.14.24 (Sunday). I would like inform you about the most horrific, embarrassing and humiliating experience I have ever encountered. I've been a customer of Chuk E Cheese for 30 years since my son was a little boy, I have never been more embarrassed and humiliated, as a long term customer, I felt very disvalued. There were a number of things that went wrong with this visit, I was there to celebrate my granddaughter's 4th birthday, upon arriving my son and family members arrived before me, they purchased 3 cards for 60 minutes and they had a coupon that states 30 minutes of free game play with the 60 minutes or more games purchase coupon, they were told that they could only use the coupon for 1 card and not all three, when I arrived they informed me of this issue. I went to a staff member that was making pizza's and ask if he was able to get me the manager, he said sure. a person came from the back and said how may I help you, I said are you the manager she said yes, I went over the details with her about the coupon, the manager stated "the coupon is just for one card and one transaction" I replied "Great customer service should have went like this", we are not able to put 30 minutes on all three cards, but if you are able to do separate transactions we would be able to accommodate you. The manager said she understands, I asked her if she's able to honor this request, she said yes give her a moment. I was standing there waiting for the manager to return my head was facing my family that was siting at the table and some other female came out (Very AGGRESSIVE LIKE A BULLY) "SO THIS ISTHE DEAL" I said excuse me, are you talking to me? she replied are you the person about the coupon, I said yes, she than said again (VERRY AGGRESSIVE "LIKE A BULLY") "This is the deal, it's the customer responsibility to read the coupon" I said I'm sorry, who are you, she said I'm the manager, I said wasn't I just speaking with the manager, she said yes, but I'm also a manager, I said ok but the other manager was taking care of this issue and she said she was going to honor the coupon for all three cards, she said well that's not happening, I said well #1, I don't appreciate the way you came out her like your the BIG BAD BEAN FROM BOSTON, you don't come out here to approach customer's that way. I did get up set and said the "F" word she said this conversation is over, and she proceeded to walk to the back, I said I will be contacting your corporate office and what is your name, she said ALI. Mean while I was still standing there waiting for the remaining of my order, my son came over to see what was going on with the order a cheese pizza and cherro's, we had already received the pepperoni pizza and wings. we have been waiting for over an hour due to the cheese pizza needing to get remade because the 1st pizza was stuck on the pizza baking pan because they didn't spray the pan and the cherro's came out hard for the 2nd time, mean while out comes ALI again she stated (VERY AGGRESSIVE, BULLY LIKE) "I just spoke to my general manager, they said you have to leave or I will call the police" I have never in my life had any encounter with the police, I was very upset at this point. I believe it's because of my race. I'm a middle age African American Female. I said to her "go ahead and call the police" and she was more than happy to do so, I did say a few curse words to her, because at that point I was very upset. When Ali came out to talk to me, that's when this entire issue took a turn for the worse, as a manager she should've come out to apologize for the long wait and mess up from our order, instead she came out like a BULLY, VERY RUDE and AGGRESSIVE, about a coupon. What happen to GREAT Customer Service! I did leave, and I was not able to enjoy my only grand child birthday with her "thanks to Ali and the General manager" once I arrived at home I looked over the coupon once again, it doesn't state anywhere on the coupon that you can only use this for one(1) 60 minute card. I'm still confused, why did the 1st manager state she would honor the coupon for the other 2 cards? why did Ali (The Bully) come out? why would the general manager have me removed or the police would be called? and why didn't any of the 2 manager's address the long wait and the mess up for my cheese pizza and cherro's. I'm most certainly taking responsibility for my action and behavior, Ali NEED TO ALSO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR HER ACTION AND NOT PLAY VICTIM, it appeared that she's not in the customer service business to please the customer, but to just work her hours to get a pay check, with 2 managers on duty there was no reason that we should have waited for over an hour for them to continue to mess up our order and there's was no more than 20 customers in the entire store. I haven't been here for a long time, but we took the kids here tonight for a friends birthday. I was pleasantly surprised how clean everything was. Being a Sunday the crowd was lite. The new unlimited play cards were awesome for our family. The pizza was excellent just like I remembered from 30 years ago. The prizes were nothing special, but the kids seem to like them. read more

We had our sons 5th birthday party here before covud and it was excellent! The staff was extremely attentive and friendly. They made sure we had everything we needed. The place was very clean, the food was great and the games were a blast. Highly recommend for a kids bday party that is stress free and pleases everyone. read more

My wife and I decided since we were both home and our son was not going to school to take him to Chuck E Cheese's. The place was not very crowded at 12 noon and started to fill up shortly after we got there. The food came out quickly and was very good pizza for the price. We had a coupon which saved us a few dollars so we added some wings to our meal. The coupon included tokens, pizza and a drink for around 20 dollars. We were having so much fun we bought more tokens and were there for about 2 1/4 hours and decided to leave when we heard of flooding, but it is a place to we will be sure to come back to. read more

Well, it's not all that bad. I haven't been to a Chuck E. Cheese for over 25 years, however, my father-in-law is really big on kids entertainment that was popular in the 90s. I refuse to ever take our son to the Chuck E. Cheese closer to the Philly area, but the one out here in York isn't all that bad. Overall if you have a coupon it's a really good value. You can typically get over 100 tokens with some of the coupons deals. We were literally struggling trying to finish off all the tokens. We went to Kalahari a few months ago and the games were really expensive. What you trade off is that you just need to be vigilant and watch your kid. And yes, the half dozen times I've been to this Chuck E. Cheese I have not see one Asian, yes, we're trailblazers. But it's also York. read more

We went here for my daughters birthday celebration. It was about 30% full and there wasn't a lot of staff to help clear tables and keep order. Kids were everywhere as expected, but I wanted more people out there cleaning up messes, and helping with broken machines. My kids loved it, and the pizza is good. Lots of coupons are available online to save you some money. Nice spot for kids under 10 years old. They just flat out love it, and its way more affordable than a comparable Dave and Busters experience. read more

Without a doubt the most disgusting, unorganized Chuck E Cheese's I have ever been to. I counted 3 trash cans in the place ( could have been more but i never saw them ), this probably explains why the back section of the show room was covered in old food, cups, and party stuff. We were there for 2 hours and not one employee even attempted to clean up the mess, or the toilet paper that was strung across the floor. The pizza was pretty good. Unfortunately a few games were not working. While we were eating with our 1 year old son we had the opportunity to watch a birthday party starting. The show the staff and "Chuck e cheese" put on was pretty sad. The guy wearing the Chuck costume was on the floor maybe a total of 5 minutes. The curtains on the stage obviously didn't work because they never closed on the stage Chuck when the costume guy was walking around. Most of the tables that were not being used were covered in dirty plates and remains from people who were long gone. Had to hunt down a staff member to get plates and forks after our pizza came out. I feel they are probably understaffed and the staff that are there are just there to collect a paycheck. read more

I take my son here on several occasions while my wife shops at nearby stores. We usually spend 2 hours there on any one trip. The service is extremely slow. I waited 15 minutes to get change for a $50 bill. I waited atleast another 20 minutes to get my kid a prize with the his winnings and eventually gave up. Chuck E. never came out to see the kids. I seen him once in the last 4 trips. When the puppet band plays in the back, you can barely hear the band start so we miss that show too. Ive never seen anyone in the ticket tornado thing.
