Inexpensive entertainment of all. Timeline is a retro arcade located in downtown York City. They have arcade games from the last quarter century. It is an hourly rate ($10) for everyone that enters. The place isn't the cleanest but it's fun entertainment. They seem to be having an a/c problem so it was pretty warm in the building. Fix the a/c and cleanliness of the establishment and the stars go up!

Great alternative to Dave & Buster's for my game-loving 9 year old daughter. We got an all-day pass - a steal at 25 bucks a person - and immersed ourselves in both retro and more updated games. My only beef was that we couldn't seem to get the newer consoles to work, as they were turned off and we weren't sure if it was okay to mess with the setup to get them working. No complaints otherwise. I loved the variety of pinball machines in particular. Free parking in York City garages if you go on Sundays or holidays. Definitely making this a regular stop.

Came back this evening with a group of friends. We arrived around 8pm. Bathrooms were dirty. Party room was dirty and had food all in the carpet. Noticed many games didn't work but they have the screens on which implies that they're working. Mostly games in the back room. Noticed a lot of Arcade cabinets where the glass was broken and the door to the party room looks like it was kicked in once. Someone have an anger problem and wreck the place?

This place was so fun! Came here on a random night with my husband and our friend, and we had a blast! Highly recommend pre-gaming before coming, they are BYOB. Decent price for unlimited gaming with a lot of options. Recommend you check it out!

I went here with my family on my birthday. We walked in at around 230pm and it wasn't crowded. You can't bring food in they have snacks like chips and icees. Every game except for 2-3 weren't in order. They had old school games like street fighter, a ton of pinball machines, shoot them up games, racing games, dance battle, Nintendo and more. I throughly enjoyed myself. The place wasn't sticky or gross and the one staff member we saw was nice. Definitely something inexpensive and fun for 1 or the whole family.

What a find! A friend and I were wandering around York PA, just exploring for a few hours on a day trip, and we happened upon Timeline Arcade. I'm so glad we did! It was $10 for the first hour (all you can play) or you can pay $25 for all day play. It was much larger than I was expecting! It has more than 260 games - from classic arcade games (Frogger, Galaga, Pacman, Mortal Kombat, etc.) to pinball games, whac-a-mole to Dance Dance Revolution. Then - to our delight - there's an area in the back with a super old couch, three old TVs, and really classic video game systems. We played Super Nintendo, because I was born in 1988 and it was the first system I ever played! We were just going to play a minute, but then we ended up playing Super Mario for half of our hour! They sell Icees and retro candy, so it's basically a 100% wonderfully nostalgic experience. I felt like a kid again. And the bathrooms were surprisingly clean, so that was a bonus!? We had a great time. I would 100% return for more nostalgic fun next time I'm in York!

They had all the old school games from the 80s! Took me back to when I was a kid back at the old arcade.!!

We loved this arcade, $10/hr or $25/day for unlimited play on a large selection of newer and classic games.

Tons of games, could entertain boys for hours! Only complaints are lack of hand sanitizers and small party room.

I have dealt with other refurbished machines and this was the best one that I have received when it comes to operation and aesthetic of the machine. Also, it did not go unnoticed of how helpful and friendly Gene and Jay were. I forget the other mechanics name ***SORRY*** but they were all fantastic. We had a slight bump in the road with the card reader but they did not allow me to leave the facility until it was fixed and in less than 20 minutes they figured it out and was good to go. Emailed them a couple days later about installation of additional parts on the machine that I wanted installed and promptly responded with DETAILED explanation of how to install myself. Will be coming back to do business for any and probably all my further needs in the gaming industry and I am from NYC. That should speak volumes on its own. Thanks fellas! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

But it's their service that really shines. They kept my game safe in storage for over 8 months until I was ready to take delivery. When I said go, they personally trucked in my game from Pennsylvania to the Chicagoland area with friendly TLC set-up. I had a flipper bumper band snap over the weekend so I called them, spoke with Jay, and he hooked me up with a pair of new ones ASAP. He dropped them in the mail within an hour free of charge. Now that's rock star customer service!!
