We just left a birthday party here and have nothing but wonderful things to say about the staff and the experience. We have been members of their monthly subscription for about a year now and have been in here probably over a hundred times over the years and the staff here is so wonderful. This portion of the review is from my kids: Child # 1: This Chuck E Cheese was THE BEST! First, Chuck E. was interactive, played with the kids and walked around the arcade. Child #2: I like it because they have the best Chuck E. ever! My take: Yep - super cool Chuck! He is far superior to any Chuck E. Cheese walk around mascot we have encountered anywhere else (even Northridge)! The employees really care as well about the magic the children are experiencing. They should never lose sight of this because, let's face it, without the magic of Chuck E., they're really just another pizza place/arcade. Chuck E. was super patient with all of my children's questions, and not only did he walk around the arcade, but he also even took the time to play a couple of games with them. It was great! Magical experience for sure. This location also still uses the "Kid Check" safety system which I appreciate (especially since I am the parent of a special needs child). Ambiance was typical for any C2 aka Chuck E Cheese 2.0. We honestly prefer the C1's that still have the animatronics, but for a C2, this is surely the best one could expect to experience. They even have the trampoline area for younger/shorter kids. I do wish that they would make an exception to the height limit during off peak times when it is dead as my autistic son is over the high limit, but he is developmentally quite a bit you get than he is chronologically. It was a major let down for him to not be able to jump. His brother could have as he is younger and smaller, but it just would not be fair to allow one without the other. All on all a terrific experience. We shall continue to patronize this special location every time we are passing through Palm Springs/Palm Desert area. It is a true gem. read more

visited with a lot of family for a birthday on 8/30. There was almost no employees actually working! I waited 10 minutes to get someone to fill the salad bar with salad after waiting in line to order food for 15-20 minutes because only one person was taking orders with a long line. No one was working the door checking people in or out which is one of Chuck E Cheese's safety features. All of this, while about 6-8 employees sat in an office in the back laughing and talking. They could be seen from the salad bar area in the back. Once my husband really made a fuss they all came out and got to work. Very upsetting to see how management is handling their responsibilities and managing their employees. We will definitely not be back! read more

A few of us went last night to celebrate my daughter's sixth birthday. It was a total of three families we ended up getting the birthday package for six kids which was $99 before taxes and add ons. It included two hours of unlimited gameplay and a dedicated table set up with birthday decorations. As soon as we entered the restaurant, we were greeted by two young ladies who were super sweet and explained everything to me very patiently. I had ordered the package online so I had a lot of questions once we arrived. They got everything set up for us at our table and communicated how the evening would go and were just so accommodating. The restaurant has obviously been updated since the last time I was there a few years ago and it is just so much better now. You can tell that they clean regularly. Even the bathrooms which can be horrible at establishments like these. It doesn't have that yucky BO/feet/cigarette smell that was common at Chuck E. Cheese's back in the day when I was young lol. Chuck E came out and greeted the kids, took pictures with them at least two times while we were there, he was super sweet and friendly giving everybody high-fives. I appreciated that he walked all around the whole entire place greeting all the kids and not just those whose parents had paid for a party. It was a little bit busy, but since there's so much space and it has a really nice open floor plan it didn't feel crowded to me. I like to mention they do have a new little bounce area for smaller kids. There is an additional charge for that, but I feel like it was worth it! The kids played in there a lot and still had plenty of time to play the games. The food was actually really good. We got a meal with two large pizzas, some wings and 6 cups and it was more than enough to feed our party of 12. The party set up came with 6 cups for the kids. We also got a salad bar and it was really fresh. There was not that many choices but it's not an adult restaurant. It's a kids restaurant, so I think it was nice that they even had a salad bar option. I also paid extra for a small bday cake, it was about $20ish and Hello Kitty. It was super cute. It fed all of us and we still had almost half to take home. My daughter loved it. I'm very happy with our experience but I wanted to save the best for last and talk about the most amazing part which was our host Mikayla!! She is such a gem! She made the whole experience so perfect for us. I couldn't have been happier with her. She greeted us when we arrived, took us over to our table, explaining the whole process and how everything would go throughout our time, gave us reminders to keep the party moving smoothly. she brought our cake, put the candles even lit them which I wasn't expecting, put on plastic gloves cut slices for everyone. She led some birthday cheers and the birthday song, played games with the kids like Simon says, and I spy, and REALLY made my daughter feel like the star of the celebration. She helped my daughter with the ticket blaster machine and she was so sweet the whole entire time. I asked that girl about 100 questions and she just was super super sweet you can tell she really likes working with the kids. Mikayla just made the experience 10/10. She deserves a raise, some recognition, and employee of the month. We will definitely be back!! read more

Let me start by saying we are Not a Chuck E. Cheese family lol. I was dreading this whole experience, but I did promised them I would take them boy was I wrong! Place is immaculate, so well cleaned and there's a full row of windows so it's not even dark in there they do an unlimited play for whatever amount of time you want and it's priced accordingly and it's totally genius! Let's get into the Chuck E Cheese experience 2023 Here's what I got : 90 minute cards with lanyards (3) 2 topping pizza 1 salad bar 4 drinks I paid $144 after taxes... Listen to me when I say I was not expecting the price to be beyond $100 but meh, it's inflation so whatevs. All of the games worked and the ticket system is now recorded on the same playing card and scanned at the prize counter. Thus less mess and easier on everyone. I took off 1 star due to the extremely rude employee at the door and some of the veggies from the salad bar were old and dried out . Personally I'd rather a Shakey's pizza where I can get a pizza, mojo potatoes, 8 piece chicken, 4 drinks, and $20 worth of tokens for a grand total of $40 ! Had an older kids birthday here during the week. It was slow and the stage show did not work as it was supposed to. Kept getting different stories from different staff members. Finally, a costumed team member came out and greeted the birthday boy. I think it was just too early on a weekday for them to pull off an organized party. The staff was just starting to ramp up when our time was up. I'd recommend going after 5:30 pm on a weekday. Not terrible but not great. read more

It's great I've been coming here since I was a baby. and I gotta say service is amazing! But sadly it did get remolded in October 2023 so they removed the robot. The dance floor is too blinding and my nephew got blinded by it. But later on, they got used to it so I'm happy! But other than that the food that my brother ordered we got 50% off because of the subscription thing and I gotta say wow it's worth it. But at the same time there are really no more games anymore like there used to be the trampoline even made them take out 4 of the skeeball machines! Very sad. But the trampoline is really expensive! TERRIBLE SERVICE AND POORLY RUN. There was no kid check at the front as people kept pushing through. We ordered a pizza and gameplay and waited 50 mins before checking on the food. I was order 52 and a lady with 53 had asked about her food which turned out to be the same order. The worker said it was being made and I asked the manager Andrea what number they were on and she said 51 so I was up next. They gave my food to 53 and when I explained this to Andrea, she mistakenly said the other person ordered first and I ordered at 4:39 when I corrected her and showed her my pager and receipt. She blew me off and said they would have to start making mine and was upset. I explained it wasn't fair and she just blew me off again and just offered a refund. I had already wasted an hour waiting and my kids were getting irritated so I just accepted the refund. It was not a good experience to waste time and just asked if I wanted a refund to get rid of me. When refunding the order after processing, she asked for the drink cups and voided game card back and I told her they were left on the table. Andrea was not happy with being corrected and could not handle conflict resolution . When leaving , they finally had the nerve to put someone up front to do kid check and I told him they didn't do kid checks when half the people arrived and the kid looked confused. Chuck E. Cheese's is an air conditioned, indoor playground with revolting food and outdated amenities, but my toddler loves it. I did too before my heightened state of self-awareness. I am grateful they exist for kids and appreciate the stamp policy to verify the children I leave with are my own. The chain needs to improve the quality of food and introduce Daiya or another vegan cheese. (I usually take my kids to Pieology for pizza). They will tell you there are no outlets to charge your phone. That is a lie: one is by the Dippin' Dots cart in the front and the other is by the High Five game next to the jungle gym. Chuck E. came out in full costume only to go to the back room and then back stage despite the group of children collecting, excited to see him dance or perform or interact in some way. He disappeared for another 2 hours. I would appreciate more comfortable seating and a coffee bar, not to mention a charging station... because I am a parent. I am grateful they are around, but they need a serious update. We had my sons 6th birthday at CEC and it was amazing! I chose the ultimate package and I didn't have to lift a finger. I got to enjoy the time with my loved ones and the staff handled everything. The manager, Angel, was amazing and so helpful! They made sure the food was taken care of and we chose a time to have the birthday song celebration. It was perfect. I highly recommend. It cost the same as having a party at the park would've been (food, decorations, goody bags, games, it all adds up!) and I didn't have to worry about it. We just showed up and it was handled. I am only giving this place two stars because my kid loves it. I would give it no stars if possible. They are severely understaffed and need 15 people or so at all times. A lot of the games were out of service and of course my 5 year old swiped the card about 30 times. It is difficult to get help because there isn't staff monitoring the game floor. Once I finally got help the guy told me to go to cashier and tell them a game took 30 credits I asked him if they knew and he said to just tell them, which if course they had to call a manager because he didn't tell them anything. Both machines to get a game card were broken which made the cashiers line very long and half of the ticket counting machines were broken. Would never come back here ever again if I could. I did see the manager sweeping the carpet but it's overall very dirty and stinks. Everytime I have gone the bathrooms are filthy. read more

Absolutely 1 Star or No Star if Possible. Brought my son here for his birthday, we got here a little late because I didn't get my check until later but we showed up around 8:15 on Wednesday which is supposed to be they're all you can play Wednesday for $14.99 an hour we knowingly bought the 1 hour card for several of our children thinking that the little extra time they would close the doors but let us finish up our time. I WAS DEAD WRONG! At Exactly 9pm they cut the power to ALL the machines so we weren't even able to play the remainder of the time. We asked about it and they told us they were sorry they thought we knew. I know it was our fault showing up late but showing up late has nothing to do with they're service. When I was about to write this post I noticed the 2-1/2 Stars and now I know why. When we got our table the surrounding tables were filthy as you can see in the photos. The stuff we're just standing around talking waiting for the place to close instead of cleaning or sweeping the floor. By the time we got our pizza's it was around 8:40-8:45pm we honestly felt as if we were being rushed to finish our food as they flipped the tables on the side and around us as they began to clean them. Now that I think about it they even turned the Air Conditioner's off when they shut down the power to the machines LOL That is ridiculous. I understand this is where a kid can be a kid but it doesn't mean that the management and staff can act like one too by not keeping the premises clean. I'm sure I won't be the last 1 Star and I kinda see this facility going out of business which is pretty sad and this is mostly because of management not knowing how an establishment like this should be taken care of. If you do decide to come here I hope you have a way better expieriance than we did. PS as I come back to this post to add a little more I can see o wasn't the only one who posted how they manage to keep they're facility clean. They have a really fun car virtual reality simulator for teens and adults. Also a cool football-throwing machine. My tia took her twins here and was amazed at how horrible their customer service is. I guess too many people complain to the staff about the prices that when she tried to question why her bill was so expensive, they became cold and dismissive. They treated her so bad. The manager (a guy) told her to wait because he was serving someone else, which of course is right to do. She waits and hes so pissed off he leaves to the back and sends someone else to help lmao.
