Just what La Quinta needed! A cute spot for date night or family fun. The simulators offer tons of other game options not just golf. Since it was only two of us we had the 30 min play for $35, which was just the right amount of time for two people. Had a couple beers at the bar, and once our simulator was ready we ordered more beers while playing. Although the service took a little longer while playing, they finally brought our beers out but was the wrong kind of beer. The attendant was nice enough to take them off the tab which was great! Will be back again!

We decided to take the team from Integrity Agents Insurance for a lunch break team-building outing before Labor Day weekend, and what a great choice this was! This place is huge and the A/C is definitely on point --perfect for a summer day in the desert. They even upgraded us to the Penthouse, a spacious private room, which made our experience even better. We had a blast--not only did we get to play golf, but we also tried baseball, zombie dodgeball, and soccer. So much fun! Our waitress was amazing and made sure we were well taken care of. For food, we ordered the spicy chicken quesadillas and the chicken nachos--both were absolutely delicious. Highly recommend! If you're looking for a fun, cool place to hang out, host a team event, or even plan future networking meetups, this is it. Excited to have such a great new spot right here in La Quinta!

Food was good, service was excellent and we will go back. It's a little expensive to play but fun if you have a group and everyone chips in.

I was excited to try it since I hadn't been back to this location since it was Tu Madres, which I was a big fan of. The menu looked promising, and having live entertainment was definitely a major plus. Unfortunately, our overall experience was a bit underwhelming. We made a 6:45 p.m. reservation through OpenTable and requested a high-top table. We ended up being seated at a standard four-top next to the restroom. While it wasn't our preference, the restaurant was busy, and I completely understand that it's not always possible to accommodate every seating request. One thing that was disappointing was the beer selection. The menu advertises craft beer, but under the "Craft & Canned" section it mostly listed domestic staples like Coors Light and Michelob Ultra. There were only a few craft options on draft, and unfortunately the ones our group tried weren't particularly enjoyable. The guys ended up leaving them unfinished and ordering cocktails instead. We ordered the French 760, which unfortunately missed the mark as well. It was overly sweet, and the sugar rim melted down the glass, leaving the stem sticky and messy to hold. The appetizers were actually one of the highlights of the meal. Both the fried artichoke bites and the fried cauliflower were flavorful and well prepared. Service is where the evening started to unravel a bit. After our appetizers arrived, our server didn't return for about 25 minutes. When he finally came back, he asked if we were ready for the check. We had to remind him that we were still waiting to order our entrees. Once we placed our order, the food arrived quickly. Of the entrées, the Steak Frites was excellent and easily the standout dish of the evening. Unfortunately, both the Pasta Pesto and the Pasta Vodka were disappointing. The penne was overcooked, and both sauces were very bland and lacked the flavor we were expecting. The true highlight of our visit was the live entertainment. This was our first time hearing Jessica Michelle perform, and she was phenomenal. While playing the keyboard, she effortlessly covered country favorites spanning multiple generations. Her voice was absolutely beautiful, and she created such a fun, welcoming atmosphere. We'll definitely be keeping an eye out for her future performances. We're not writing off The Local on 50th. I spent over 20 years working in the restaurant industry, from family-style restaurants to fine dining, and one thing I learned is that every restaurant can have an off night. It happens. There was enough potential here that we'd be willing to give it another try and hope our next experience better reflects what this restaurant is capable of.

I noticed they have daily specials, but be mindful that they usually serve from 11-3, and after that, the happy hour menu takes over till 6. We originally came for the tuesday burger deal, but we arrived after 3, we still ordered a burger and decided to try the machaca chimichangas from the HH menu. The service was great, thanks Javier. I really appreciated the variety, not just food and beers, but sports on TV too. The only thing was that the bottom bun of the burger was very soggy, our server joked its gravity's fault... Maybe adding a crisp, dry lettuce layer underneath could help. Overall, great vibes and a fun place to chill and hang out.

The…read morerestaurant was completely packed for the Mexico soccer game, yet the manager refused to lower the air conditioning despite how unbearably hot it was inside. With a full restaurant generating so much business, customer comfort should be a priority. The heat made it difficult to enjoy the game or even sit through a meal. What was most concerning was watching a family seated next to us leave because it was simply too hot for their young child. This wasn't just an inconvenience--it became a health and safety concern. When customers are leaving because the temperature inside is unbearable, management should take that seriously. I hope Burgers & Beer addresses this in the future because no one should have to choose between their comfort and staying to enjoy the experience they paid for.

The drinks were fantastic, reasonably priced, and generously poured. In fact, days later we were still talking about how good the drinks were and how much fun we had. The KDJ did an outstanding job keeping the energy up and making everyone feel welcome. The bartenders were friendly, attentive, and helped create a great atmosphere throughout the evening. Everything about Big Rock Pub is great. The visuals immediately capture you as you walk in, creating a welcoming atmosphere from the start. The service staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, and the drinks made by the bartender were excellent. The food did not disappoint either. We started with the garlic parmesan wings, which were incredibly flavorful and a great way to begin the meal. Next, we had the Caesar salad and the BBQ chicken pizza. The Caesar salad portion was huge, easily enough for two people and probably even enough to share among four. The BBQ chicken pizza was absolutely delicious and a standout dish for us. I want to give a special shout-out to Carlos and the food runner working tonight. He was very friendly and made a point to check on us as he passed by to make sure everything was good. In my opinion, that kind of attentiveness is what separates average service from seasoned food and beverage professionals. For dessert, we ordered the churros, which had an amazing filling that instantly hooked us. Our 3- and 5-year-old also enjoyed their kids' meals, and the fact that each kids' meal includes a sundae was a great touch. We can't wait to return, this is definitely a spot worth trying
