We recently hosted our daughters 6th birthday here and it was great. $99 dollars gets you 6 kids (2) hours of inlimited play time with a table to decorate. We add pizzas and drink cups and it was great! Overall efficiency was hit or miss, but it was a very busy Saturday. We also arrived early which may have threw the team off. However, at the end of the day, it was a really phenomenal birthday for the 6 year olds who enjoyed every minute. The pizza was good and we brought in our own cake. Chuck E comes out and dances and every one loves it! They have added a trampoline, and while its included, it does eat up some of the play time so you can decide how much you want to d with that. I just have to say that I actually adore their pizza - Its far better than some pizza chains. The staff has always been friendly, and they make sure my order is ready in no time. The entertainment might be a little silly, but it's such a nostalgic part of many people's childhoods. Slightly different throughout years but the basic conception remains... Showbiz Pizza!!! Chuck E Cheese. Well ol chuck E is getting 2 stars. My 5 year old has been wanting to go forever. So last night we took the boys. Upon walking in we couldn't have been greeted by a less friendly staff person. I mean if you hate your job this bad then quit. Rude and didn't answer any questions we had as it was our first time. We got the boys boneless chicken wings and fries to eat which took like 35 mins. And there was 4 other people there and that's it. For being dead you think they could clean more. Excellent food very surprised how good the pizza is. Half of the games and rides to not work. Bad service. Took about 10 minutes to get a beer with only one person in front of me and four employees standing behind the counter doing nothing and there are several registers. At one point I went to somebody and said excuse me can I order a beer? And she said it's that line. I said, is there another register you can use? She said no. But surprise it was a different register and a different employee that came up and sold me a beer. Very disappointed so many games did not work. No soap in the women's bathroom. Wife told an employee but soap was still not filled. Very expensive here and like I said the pizza is unbelievably great. First, I'm a bit skewed to like Chuck E. Cheese. I went there MANY times when I was raising my daughters in Denver Colorado. I took a great old friend and his new girlfriend and her 5 year old son to the Chuck E. Cheese in Omaha. "Yikes" Pretty normal food for Chuck E. Cheese. Not great but passable. They no longer serve beer. No salad bar. Hmm... About 20% of the kids' games were out of commission. The standard stage for hourly performances was shut off with plastic tarps. All in all pretty disheartening. Great staff made the day work out okay. They gave her son a game (helicopter) and he was happy. It may need a few months to work out the problems but I know that I'll be back. read more

I've been to several type of these restaurant arcades throughout the Omaha area. This by far is the worst. It is a bit dated and when we walked in it was quite small compared to where we've been before. Games are average and the games still print tickets instead of keeping digitally on your card. The game card however is digital. We did have pizza and it was ok, a bit salty and super greasy. We came in on a Wednesday midday which made it ok. Coming here on a weekend would be an absolute nightmare given the choice. --------update review-------- Here today on 17 Jun 18.. decided I would give it another choice. It definitely was the wrong one. When got in there was one clerk working the prizes and checking in. Checking in line started to bottleneck and the associate contacted someone twice to get assistance. She also mentioned to us that she was supposed to be off 22 min ago. And while she was finishing check in to get the line to go down, you got it... the prize line started to bottleneck. Outside of the fact that my son, nieces and nephew enjoy themselves the issue is very clearly now with what I witnessed upon arriving and that's management. Learn to take care of your people and have a staff well manned, especially on weekends! read more

The Robot Revolution is here. Chuck E. Cheese is a fun place to take your littles. Every game only takes one token, which can be purchased at three for a dollar. There are lots of fun shooter games to play here some of the same as Dave and Busters at a fraction of the price. The Roller Coaster ride game is fun as well. You can also make fun imaginary job ID cards. I had one made that I was an astronaut which had to be the highlight of my trip here. The animatronic band is as scary as ever. I am still fascinated and need to watch at least a couple minutes of the show every visit here. Which is like once every five years. The pizza is ok not good not bad but just ok. Upon entering this place, you are not greeted or welcomed in, the experience initially leaves you feeling like your about to walk into a Tragic Theatre play. 2. $38 gets you a LARGE(sarcastically) pizza, 4 cups and 40 tokens. Let me start by saying this is a mockery of a deal the minute you see it waiting for you on the table. 2 Bites even for a child finishes up 1 slice & add 10minutes to that equation, thats about how much of a challenge it takes to leave you feeling you never ate a single slice. 3. This was our very first visit to a Chuck E. Cheese restaurant... It will also be our last. The Good: 1. Their menu items are peanut-free. 2. There are lots of games and they only take one token to play. 3. There are plenty of booths to sit in and they are scattered all around the restaurant. 4. Upon entering the restaurant, they stamp the child(ren) and the parent(s) with matching numbers in invisible ink. Upon exiting the restaurant, they check that your numbers match. The Bad: 1. Limited value options. 2. Upon notifying a worker that it is our very first visit, we received no assistance on how things work. We also didn't get help with the menu. 3. I enjoy a good salad when I go out to eat. You can't just get a side salad, you have to buy an unlimited salad bar for $8... and after peeking at the salad bar, there was no way I was paying $8 for that. I'll add more info about that in The Ugly section below. 4. The lid and straw holders at the soda fountain and the surrounding area were extremely dirty. There was major dirt and debris buildup on top of the cup lid/straw holder. 5. The salad bar is right in front of soda fountain area which is hidden in the back by the bathrooms. There's no active supervision at all. The Ugly: 1. The pizza was extremely overcooked but just a shade away from being burnt. 2. The cheese sticks were burnt and looked like it was a pizza crust that may have dropped on the floor, got folded in half and sprinkled with cheese and then burnt. The taste was horrible enough that my husband spit it out, my son wouldn't eat it and I wouldn't eat it either. It certainly was nowhere near the image depicted on the menu. 3. The boneless chicken wings in barbecue were also burnt, hard as a rock and only barely edible. 4. The tater tot's were overcooked and extremely dry. 5. When you are ordering your food, there is an image on the wall of a sampler platter. I ordered the sampler platter thinking I would get about a dozen cheese sticks, about a dozen boneless chicken wings, a big old stack of tater tot's and a big fist full of celery sticks. When they delivered it to our table, at a cost of $9.99, we had 5 boneless chicken wings, literally two four-inch celery sticks, six slices of cheesy bread sticks that was basically a half a small pizza, A small pile of dried out tater tot's and three little bowls of marinara, ketchup and ranch condiments. I sent my husband to the counter with the tray... And we were informed that what we have is the family sampler platter... What's shown in the picture is the party sampler platter. Great job notifying us of that while we were ordering. 6. The macaroni salad and potato salad on the salad bar were literally crusted over. It was dried out and looked like it had been sitting out since yesterday. Mind you, I did not eat the salad bar due to the cost and due to the fact that it looked disgusting, was located right outside the bathroom area and had no supervision from employees. 7. Plenty of debris on the floors. Debris consisted of napkins, ticket pieces, food items and other dirt. It's kind of expected because it is a kids place, but there should be somebody actively out there with a broom and dust pan cleaning up things. Our whole visit we never saw anybody clean anything at all. Our visit cost just under $41 and that was for two adults and a 10-year-old. My son had 15 tokens to play with, and that was OK. The food left a bad taste in my mouth and in my pocketbook. I feel like we flushed money down the toilet by choosing to eat there. We always take our leftovers with us when we eat out, however we left everything at the table. No one had any interest in consuming the remaining pizza or breadsticks at home.... It was just that bad. We were so very excited to have a peanut-free, safe option added to our restaurant list. We went in with the expectations of it being geared towards kids... With greasy food and carb loaded items... but the saving grace was going to be the salad bar for me... But that simply didn't happen. And we didn't expect it to be horrible. This was just horrible. My husband said if we were to ever go there again, we would eat at another restaurant or at home and then simply by our son $20 worth of tokens to just play games with. He enjoyed playing the games but I have to mention that the person running the prize counter had the personality of a rock... She didn't greet my son and wasn't helpful. When she was told that he had 44 tickets, she didn't bother telling him they would be rounded up to 50... She was happy to let him spend 40 tickets and keep his other four tickets without giving him "change". Yes, it's only four tickets and would be simply thrilled to have them rounded up! Their prize options begin at 10 tickets... 10, 25, 50 and so on. So if you have nine tickets or less, I guess you just chalk it up as a loss. Being that it's the only Chuck E. Cheese in the area you would think the service and atmosphere would be better. 1st I want thank Micheal for being kind and professional being that he is a new employee. He went to ask whom I would assume was a manager to assist with an issue he was having and she shrugged him off and gave him attitude. He had to go to the kitchen and ask another employee for assistance. It was a mid day Monday so it wasn't very crowded. We ordered our pizzas and proceeded to wait. Michelle and Becky (i will assume are manager/supervisor) were very rude and acted as if they didn't want to be at work. It's Chuck E. Cheese for god sake why are you so upset. There was another female employee who was obviously under the influence of a substance I don't know if it was drugs or alcohol but she was under it. She proceeded to lay her head down on the counter and acting in a erratic behavior. We also witness jump on-top of the prize counter and fix light fixtures without assistance or a ladder. Being that she was under the influence made it that much more of a dangerous situation. The floors were dirty and had debris on them that could be easily cleaned since it wasn't busy during the time. My daughter invited me to a birthday party for my grandson here. The staff went above and beyond the call of duty in every instance. We ordered our food separately from the party because my husband is picky lol. The staff kindly apologized 3 or 4 times for not having Alfredo sauce for one of their specialty pizzas due to a refrigerator issue and the difference in what we paid for a cheese pizza was brought to our table before we even asked. The pizza was out fast, and it was really pretty good. I wouldn't put it on the level of Pitch, but it's not that kind of place, and the cost is much lower. They also have a fully stocked salad bar...and beer ($4.25 for a 20 oz glass of Budweiser) to help you relax around all the wild kids! It had been at least 5-6 years since I had been here, and I was pleasantly surprised by the changes. They moved the indoor playground area to the rear of the premises so it is much easier to view the entire game floor from your booth. One of the things I liked best was the fact that they mark your hand with invisible ink with the same number as the child you bring, and it is checked upon your exit. Nothing is foolproof, but this makes it more difficult for a child to be taken by a stranger, or to exit themselves. This definitely puts them a step above Skatedaze in the area of child safety. I would like to see the games/rides clearly labeled as to how many tokens they take, because you have no idea until you sometimes have put too many in. read more

My kids like this place, and we go there from time to time to play games. On the plus side, it's not terribly expensive, but the negatives are many: The games and activities aren't geared toward enhancing creativity or development-- they're for brainless entertainment. The food is dreadful and unhealthy. There's a large stress on materialism as reward-- the children win crappy, useless plastic trinkets for performing well in skeeball, etc. (And I realize I'm probably a little extreme and reactionary here, but I think this kind of reward throws values out of whack. It's no surprise that it's housed in a corporate chain.) Like television, I think it's fine in small doses as a mindless diversion, but if this is the only type of stimulation and play you are providing your children, they will suffer for it in the future. For a healthily contrasting experience, and at a lower price, take them to the Omaha Children's Museum. read more

After ordering food and tokens we did have an issue with one ride that would not go because apparently some kid put the safety on. Took my nephew here yesterday, and was fairly disappointed. 1. Many of the games seemed almost designed to act more like slot machines, wherein the goal is to stick in money, play fast and be rewarded with tickets, and then stick in another token, etc. When I was growing up you'd often play for 30 seconds or several minutes on a quarter. Here many of the games lasted fewer than 10 seconds. 2. With as many kids running around and eating, the games are bound to get dirty often, and they were. But there wasn't a huge effort to keep thing clean. I washed my hands thoroughly after leaving. 3. Many of the machines were broken. I did get some money back after complaining, but it get embarrassing to have to ask for your money back over and over. 4. Definitely don't come here for the food. The pizza is lackluster at best. Honestly, the games are fun. But, it's lost it's touch. I brought my younger sister here as a treat for doing well in school. There was no one ahead of us in line, we ordered one medium pizza, and that took 30 mins to complete right off the bat. It was; however, quite tasty. I keep giving this place a chance, but I've yet to have an enjoyable experience at this Chuck E Cheese. I'm trying to avoid sounding like a Negative Nancy, but I'm struggling to come up with any redeeming qualities. Well, it IS affordable. All games/rides/etc are only 1 token a piece. But even for that price, it isn't worth it. 1/2 the games are always out of comission. The food is horrible, and that says a lot because I was expecting bad food from the get go. The staff is okay, but when they are only two teenagers trying to run an entire arcade, things get messy. Kids run wild, which I wouldn't have a problem with if they were well behaved kids. But no. Chuck E Cheese seems to uneash a crazy, ticket hungry beast in all of these unsupervised youths. Tickets and tokens WILL get stolen - so keep a close eye on things. Also, don't walk away from a table full of food. When you come back, 1/2 of your pizza might be gone! Payed way too much for lunch buffet. Pizza always out no salad AFTER we were told by front desk girl there was salad on buffet. My 6 year old daughter was so excited to come here for first time with her cousin when she came to town. Errors on the screens of 3 of the games...tickets not spitting out when they should have, ticket machine near birthday area not working...WOW. After reading through the reviews left by others, I felt like I ought to leave a good one. We love Chuck E. Cheese! Mainly because it's SO affordable! One token per game...winning! The food may not be that great, but I don't think it's terrible. The pizza is okay. Haven't tried anything else. But we mainly just go to play, we rarely eat here anyway. I will say, of all the arcades in Omaha...this one will give you the best bang for your buck! I can give both kids $20 and they are happy campers! Whereas with Pizza Machine...we would spend a minimum of $80. Dave and Busters we're guaranteed to spend more too. I understand you do get what you pay for, but the kids don't care. They just want to play. My kiddo loves Chuck E. Cheese! And, it's not necessarily about me...it's for the kiddos! Take your kids here and they will surely love it! Weekends are crazy busy. So disgusting, dirty, unprofessional, KIDS WERE ON TOP OF GAMES AND NO ONE SAID ANYTHING TO THEM. Not to mention, a homeless guy went in and was wondering around (obviously no kids with him) you could visually see on him that he had stuff in his hair, his clothes were horribly dirty and reeked. when I let staff know, they lasted 15 minutes just talking and pointing at him as if they were scared to approach him. Not even the manager told him he needed to leave. the safety of the children in there did not seem to matter because 2 staff member finally came out on the floor and were standing by some machines close to him. not once was he approached. He finally left but ON HIS OWN. We cut our night short. and will never again return and will make sure people know how bad it is. We only went there because our kids have not gone ever since Dad lost custody of them. That's where their cheap careless father would take them. We tried to have my niece's birthday party here. A fight broke out and nobody on staff tried to stop it. Instead they all disappeared. When they showed back up they acted as if it happens all the time. Very dirty also. We ended up leaving before the Bday celebration even began. Always a sketchy crowd.
