Pro's: The monthly membership deals are amazing and totally worth it, there's a a large selection of games for all ages, the pizza and salad bar are actually pretty tasty, a lot of prize options, an extra play area for a fee, great birthday packages. Con's: They are always understaffed, we always have to wait to be let in at the gate/stamped, they typically only have one person who goes back and forth between the check in/cash register and prize counter so there always a wait for assistance and prizes, I've never gone there and had every game work properly which then require taking the time to get someone to refund my game point, food service can be slow sometimes, one of the regular staff has an unprofessional attitude rolling her eyes and acts annoyed all the time, she was argumentative when I finally asked her to stop one time, unfortunately I think that's just how she is. Overall, I still recommend coming here if you utilize the monthly membership deal and/or birthday packages. It's a great way to get kids out of the house for some fun. read more

I am extremely disappointed and honestly shocked by our experience at Chuck E. Cheese in Maple Grove last weekend. We brought our family there expecting a safe environment for young children, but instead had one of the scariest moments a parent can experience. There was nobody staffing the kids' check/security area at the entrance and exit, and my 3-year-old daughter was able to walk outside completely unnoticed. A toddler should NEVER be able to leave a children's entertainment center without staff noticing. Thankfully we realized it immediately and got to her quickly, but the fact that this could happen at all is absolutely unacceptable. The entire purpose of the check-in/check-out system is to protect children. If there is no employee monitoring it, then the system is meaningless. This was not a small oversight -- this was a major safety failure that could have ended very differently. Management seriously needs to address staffing and child safety before another family experiences something even worse. read more

I have been to many Chuck E. Cheese's and let me tell you, a lot of them have went down hill! But the one here in maple grove, yeah they have it lit from the time they open, until they close! They had 3 parties going at once and I couldn't even tell! The employees were all so sweet and honestly looked like they loved their jobs! I haven't been to a Chuck E. Cheese that had all their ticket machines and picture booths working! All pictures came out clear which is a must when here! I have never in my life, seen such fast moving table flipping! They ain't playing here! Every worker seemed very focused on the job at hand, yet the how place had a soft feel to it! This an Amazing team y'all got here! I had a personal pizza and tea, and let me tell u....they put other pizza joints to shame! I thought pizza luces was my favorite pizza stop up north until today! Total time from order to table was less than 12 min! Now that's fast service! I also Saw a little kid come up to the manager on duty and tell her that something was wrong! The manager-Destiny without hesitation told him to follow her so she could fix the problem! That little Kid was geeked! This is a very clean, safe, fun and energetic place to come with your little for a lot of big fun! Thank u for the great experience! We recently went to Chuck E Cheese (CEC), the world famous pizza place founded by famous French chef, Charlie E Fromage. ;-) Serious about the first part, joking about the second, of course. I like other locations, but not this one. Lots of things were broken on our one (and probably only) visit: at least two of the ticket redemption machines, at least two of the skee ball machines (but likely many more), and the Price is Right coin dozer. Waste of time and money. Cherry Pepsi was out the whole time we were there as well. There were no 'out of order' signs on any of these things. Food: I didn't grab any of the group pizza and maybe it was for the best. Or maybe I would've been less of a grumpy cat. Unknown. Drink: soda machines. Delicious Pepsi and Mug Root Beer. This was sadly the highlight of my visit. Noise: it's a noisy place, noisier than any other CEC. It seems like there were too many people for the space to be able to enjoy it, but the kids seemed to like it, almost as happy as the phony kids in the canned photos by the owner, so what do I know! Smells: lots of skunky pot smokers around. Not cool. On the one hand, I get it. CEC can be a stressful and loud place. On the other hand, you're around kids, most likely including your own: get a grip on reality. Staff: outnumbered and overwhelmed. I would be too! Location: I hate Maple Grove. I hate the concentration of restaurants and shops in small areas, as well as the layout of the roads. What's good: bumper cars. 4 bumper cars in a ring for the young ones. I haven't seen this at any other CEC. The cars had a soft ring around them (air-filled) for very soft collisions. What's not good: this review, so I'll end it here. -------- Update (11/10/19), in response to the owner: No, I'm not filling out a generic "contact us" form on your website. If you have received a bad review and have read it, please feel free to make some decisions to resolve it yourself, or please feel free to contact your own corporate office if you can't resolve your long-standing issues. It's starting to become a family tradition for my SIL and us to bring our kids to Chuck E Cheese for their birthdays since they are so close together (within two days of each other). It's a cool place where they can let loose and we don't have to worry about them getting lost or running off somewhere. The games are pretty fun and the pizza has gotten A LOT better tasting. The endless salad bar itself is worth the trip....pretty good selection of items to choose from. When Chuck E Cheese came out to say hello to the kids, he was super interactive and fun to dance with! I hated the bumper cars at this location were down but we still had a good time hanging out as a family...and even though it was a school night, we were able to have a birthday party, dinner and fun all within a couple of hours! This is the answer for anyone thinking of reasons NOT to have kids. Don't get me wrong, I have never regretted my daughter and she is the greatest little girl ever but I will buy her many things to take her mind off of Chuck E Cheese! For kids, this place is lots of fun but so is running wild at the airport. Parents, don't let either happen. The food here is as bad as it can get. I love pizza and have had people tell me that the C-E-C pizza isn't that bad, they were wrong, it is. I didn't ever think you can get mild food poisoning from pizza but guess what, you can! What do you have to do to a pizza to make someone sick? Never mind, I don't want to think about it. For a birthday party where you can sit back and not have to spend time parenting, this is your party destination. It is loud, a money pit, and the food sucks. There are other choices. Order pizza at home and a cake from Lunds then drive them to the airport. Works every time. I will say though that they have beer. So OK maybe two stars. KT read more

We went here to celebrate my daughters 7th birthday. My daughter (7) and son (4) enjoyed running around and playing games. The stuffed crust pizza was yummy and the kids loved watching their piles of tickets grow. Very clean and the staff was great. We will go back in the future. read more

I asked the manager why did they take our tray away when weren't done. They said they couldn't do anything about it. I would never take my kids there again. Nor would I recommend others going. I asked one of the cups and she said the cashier gave it out. So if she apparently doesn't like Asians because most of the people at Chuckee Cheese has a cup of water. I was always wondering where it was located, and now I know - THIS place is actually hell on Earth. Went here (against my will ) with a 3.5 year old, a 23 month old and a 19 month old. Wildly an inappropriate place for these youngsters. Let me start from the beginning: 1) Overpriced tokens 2) Horrific food, which was actually cold when it came to our table about 20 minutes after ordering (??) 3) Unsanitary, disgusting, filthy games and even more awful restrooms. Actual feces smeared on the toilet seats. 4) Skanky patrons. Sorry, but the quality of 95% of the people there made me frightened for my child's safety. Not watching their children, on their phones, irresponsible and rude. 5) Scary mouse, broken machines. Need I continue? Please don't take your offspring here. I went to the maple grove location for a birthday party. Kids enjoyed the place , but I had a very bad experience when we went to buy gifts for kids using the tickets we got. First of all the queue was long and we waited for around 30 mins in the queue and finally we reached in front of the register. The lady asked kids wrist bands to scan and also we gave tickets and after that she just ignored us and started serving the next customer. I waited till she served the next customer and when I asked about that she got angry and left from there as she does not want to serve us. It was really a bad treatment from that employee. The other employees were fine and they helped us after my complaint and they also mentioned to me she should have not behaved like that to us. Everything was fine till the end but because of this bad experience from one employee at the end, we became so disappointed and will never go back to this place. read more

Kids love this place and parents hate it. The energy level on weekends is crazy high. Many kids run wild without parental supervision when they could use it. Plenty of games for the kids to feed your money into so they can win tickets for cheap toys. Food is bland and tasteless. TERIBLLE service, I would be Very surprised if this place continue to remain in business. Walked in at 4pm on a Monday afternoon, there was about 3 customers inside and about 7 employees. Well I waited for 10 min at the counter to receive service but no luck, the female behind the counter did not even said hello to me and my boys. She did not even said a single word, I did asked her about it though, I was like "hello, hi, how are you, I'll be right with you or anything at least???? She just looked at me and mumbled something. As far as Chuck E's go, this one is clean with the standard pizza, wings, and salad bar. I did not have any problems with the staff. However, the games here take points on game cards as opposed to tokens. The problem I have is the coins lasted MUCH longer. Also, this Chuck E's does NOT have a playground with slides and tubes. This sucks when you have younger children who are limited to a couple of motion rides. Overall, the money we paid at this Chuck E's was not comparable to other Chuck E's as far as overall variety of fun. read more

They used to have an area where kids can climb up these tunnels high near the ceiling, but for some odd reason took it away. My nieces and nephews used to love those. The game area seems smaller now and most of the people who goes there are obnoxious. One more thing, the food has always been pretty bad. We recently had a SUPER FANTASTIC experience here for our 5 year old son's birthday. We booked on Sunday from 11-1. We had 14 kids. It was well organized, Corey was our hostess and was delightful and helpful. It was well staffed. It was not too crowded (but maybe that's the time we were there). Kids seemed well enough behaved. The food was better than I expected. No, not gourmet pizza. The Chocolate birthday cake was good. The price was certainly reasonable, and a good value. Yeah, don't come here if you can't take kids having fun or if you want a quiet date night. But it is great for kids! read more

I am very disappointed in the Chuck E Cheese Corp., we were there last month celebrating my birthday, Grandma taking the grands for some fun/pizza to celebrate. my adult daughter clearly experienced a case of food poisoning from boneless chicken wings/blu cheese dressing. I spoke with the Mgr. who referred me to Sheila with the task force, after a few ? with myself and my daughter she determined on her own that this could not possibly be the fault of Chuck E Cheese. My daughter was the only one that ate this menu choice and the only one to get sick. I have made several calls again to Sheila encouraging her to do the right thing and take responsibility, pay my daughters lost wages of one day and reimburse us the $60 spent that night. This place is tiny compared to most Chuck E Cheese we been to. Not much game choices and the swipe card machine doesn't work well. If it works it will steal a few swipes before it will work. So instead of costing 15 points a game you paid 45 points before you can play. Could be why this place have such low rating. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
