We booked a lane for a family event (8 people). We were greeted by two managers who were on duty. We primarily worked with Luan who was phenomenal. He was so attentive, patient and kind. He ensured we had everything we needed and really went above and beyond to see that we had what we needed. We rented a lane, ordered two pizzas(cheese and pepperoni) , two types of wings (bbq and garlic parm), and two alcoholic beverages (mule and Long Island). Everything was delish, even for something from a bowling alley. When we were ready to wrap up, the managers were ready to give us boxes for our extra food, and take shoes when we were ready. we weren't left waiting at any point. Everything was clean, from lanes, to seating areas, to bathrooms. This place was run really well and I'd highly recommend a visit in if you're considering bowling, laser tag, or games. This place seems to always be getting worse.... Okay if you don't know the business model of AMF/Brunswick/Bowlero they generally claim bankruptcy or re-brand every 10-15 years. They will run up debt (through a combination of incompetent management and doing a big update/remodel) then hold on for dear life for a year or two then file for bankruptcy protection, get the debt discharged, change names and repeat. So going back 28 years it was AMF who merged with Brunswick and then did a big remodel to Brunswick and BAM bankruptcy in 2001. So after that bankruptcy they rebranded everything to Brunswick and were going good for about a decade then BAM once again they went bankrupt in 2013. After that they rebranded as Brunswick Zone which went on for a few years and then changed it to Bowlero and it feels like the cycle is about to repeat and expect bankruptcy around the corner. So this particular location USED to have a nice bar with eight pool tables, darts, a cozy fireplace, plenty of seating, and was busy on weekends. I mean they needed two bartenders for all the customers and was going just fine. Yeah Covid happened, yeah economy took a downturn, so what did they do....? They tore out the bar and now it's just a big empty room with three pool tables in the middle. Half the cues have no tips, there is no bar, no food, no employees just one room with three pool tables (and one broken table in the corner covered with a tarp) and a sign that says "See front desk for pool balls". The room was DEAD EMPTY....it's like they're trying to lose money. Another funny thing is the bowling alley. One side is all remodeled with nice high back chairs and leather seating and all modern while the other side of the bowling area is the old tables and hard plastic chairs. Like they remodeled half the bowling area....? Who does that?? I would expect the corporate company to be in bankruptcy court in a year or two. Also it's perplexing to me why this business would shut down a profitable bar and pool league and just have an empty room now???? read more

We had a breast cancer fundraiser at this Bowlero on 8/16/25 and it was amazing. First off Bowlero donated lanes, time and shoes for our fundraiser which was an incredible blessing. They did a walk through with us to find out exactly what we needed and how they could accomodate us. They were 100% prepared for us on the day of our arrival and continued to be available to us until the event was over. I had a group of 50+ people and not one complaint. The manager Jym Hersan and the staff that were there led by Carla (not sure of last name) were all incredible. I would recommend this business over and over again and I will hopefully be having this fundraiser there for years to come. Thank you Bowlero for allowing us to have our fundraiser there. read more

We came in early on a Tuesday around 4pm and it was practically dead, maybe three others? We had a party of four adults and two kids, unfortunately the kids took the lane that we were supposed to be on and flew through two rounds when we only had one (should have been the other way around). The staff were super understanding and gave us another round of bowling despite the mixup, they were really nice about the whole thing -- even when the little kids threw multiple bowling balls down the lane at once and got them stuck. We also ordered some food while there that came out quickly. The only weird thing about the bowling alley was that they didn't have any racks for the balls to be placed when you're not using them and the space underneath wasn't enough so you'd have like 6-7 balls spitting out and piling up unnecessarily. Took the girls on a little excursion to bowl and play arcade games. I hosted an event here and Amanda and the team did such a great job of making our party a ton of fun. My girls loved the bowling shoes, getting to throw neon balls down the lanes and played surprisingly well for a 5 and 7 year old. Worst experience I have every had. Went for my friends 21st and had a lot of fun in general but when it came to paying our tab we didn't get a receipt and they wouldn't give us our correct change. They threatened to call the cops on us before they went and checked the camera, then afterwards they gave us a "free 2 hour pass of bowling" for the inconvenience. Absolutely crazy to me that they threatened to call the cops on us after THEY SHORTED US. Needless to say we are never going back...EVER . I couldn't use my $5 coupon. I was standing in line at the bar for ten minutes. The two ladies were waiting and then there was a girl in all yellow behind them and then me. Waited for ten minutes before the two girls were finally done. Then after the girl in yellow orders and then 7 of her friends surrounded the bar and ordered after she was done. The staff was amazing! My 10 year old and I went on a Wednesday night. We got a bowl two games and get one free with a free $5.00 arcade card deal. We were visiting from out of town and looking for something to do. This fit the bill! We, also, played laser tag. Friendly staff from check in, food ordering, laser tag set up, to cashing in the "tickets" won at the arcade. Would recommend for a fun outing. This is a very expensive place to bowl. If you want to not break the bank, come on a special night when there are discounts. I wasn't expecting to spend just under $40 for two people to bowl two games. Also, a couple small sodas cost $9. We also overheard the cost of an appetizer sampler platter (about $30), and knew that we weren't going to be eating anything there. It also takes way too long to order and receive beverages. There doesn't seem to be a system for people to form a line so that things move more efficiently. The lanes are nice and the couches at them are comfy. So, waiting your turn to bowl isn't bad at all. I won't be back before I pick up my equipment so that I can use my own ball and shoes. This will save some cash and aggravation. I can't use house balls effectively. My beau was happy that he crushed me (we're both highly competitive). You can look up their specials on the website and choose to save some cash by coming then. My family and I came during their Sunday Funday (8-10:30pm) after having visited the Blaine location and being told that there were 7 groups before us on the wait list. The man at the counter was very rude. After we paid for our lane, the man didn't say anything else to him. So, my brother politely asked what lane our family would be taking and the man said (with an attitude), "give us a minute." We patiently waited until he told us what lane and he didn't even bother telling us what side we were on. When we got to our lane, the table was dirty. The previous party's trash and leftovers weren't even cleaned up. We had to track down 2 separate employees to let them know that we wanted it cleaned so that we could sit there since another party would be placed next to us - and we didn't want to be sitting at their table. NO ONE CAME TO CLEAN THAT MESS UP. We were there for about 2 hours and 30 minutes too! When we tried looking for the employees again to see if they would come clean the table, some were just standing around doing nothing. One was pretending to "work" and then went to the counter to eat his food and drink. He was doing this for the whole 2 hours and 30 min we were there. We ended up sitting at the table next to our lane the whole time and fortunately the family in that lane was kind and understanding. They let us sit there while they sat in the back since we had little children with us. This location (Bowlero - Brooklyn Park) has such bad customer service. If you don't care about being treated like crap, then go there. We had to settle for this location and we regret it. The next time you want to take your family and/or friends here, rethink that decision. Drive further to the Blaine location (if you're not close to it) because their staff is so much more polite, respectful, professional and they actually clean!! read more

I'll never go back! I will say it's a nice big bowling alley! But that's unfortunately the only good part. I went on a Friday night with friends a little after 8 pm. They have 2 sides to bowl on, one side was empty the side they put us on was 3/4 full at the time (died down a lot as the night went on). To get a lane you have to open a tab vs some alleys you pay for shoe rental & however many games you want to play upfront. I provided my card to open the tab for me & TWO friends (was told at the end we could separate the bill). We bowled one game. During the game a waitress came, we ordered food, I asked does it go on the same tab as bowling (since they already had my card info), she responded it could but I'd prefer if you pay at the lane. In which she put the order in, immediately gave us the bill (wayyyy before we receive our food) and waited at the table until we provided payment. She ran the Payments then came back & waited until we signed & tipped. Not sure if it was just our table getting this treatment or what. After all of that we literally had to get up and look for her anytime we needed something like utensils or refills. She never came back. If I knew I was going to have to chase her I probably wouldn't have tipped. She obviously did want to work that day. After maybe 40 min our food came, we ate & decided to leave. We go to the counter to close the tab & they did let us pay separately. With shoe rental & 1 game it was about $10. A few days later (Monday) I checked my bank account & had 3 separate charges from "Bowlero". 1. Food $13, 2. Bowling $10, mysterious $67 charge. I went back up to Bowlero and requested a manager. The lady working the registers said she was one. I explained my issue and showed her my receipts, she started to pull stuff up but couldn't tell me what exactly that $67 charge was. While she was playing around on the computer a line started to form & the GM approached to see what the hold up was and we explained to him what happened. I ended up having to show him my bank account app/transactions because he didn't believe me. He said that pending transactions from the weekend don't usually clear until Tuesday. But I've had my bank account for years and I know that they put "pending" next to pending charges and that this mysterious charge was not pending. We went back and forth about this pending issue for a few minutes because he didn't believe me. He asked that I wait one more day (til Tuesday) to see if falls off my account. He gave me his personal cell number to contact him. Tuesday comes, the charge is still there. I was busy that day and gave him another day. Wednesday comes, the charge is still there. I tried calling the personal cell number he gave me. No answer, so I go back in (mind you this is a 2 hwy, 15 min drive for me, out of the way). When I walk in he's (The GM) working the counter. He's actually the only employee in sight (understaffed). I walk up to the counter & he remembers me, I can tell he was annoyed that I came back in his tone and body language. I told him the charge was still there. He's the only one working so when other paying customers start coming in he asked me to step aside so he can help them & he also didn't know how to refund me. He ended up calling the original manager that helped and right in-front of me goes "she's back". He proceeds with an attitude trying to figure out how to give me the exact amount back. At the end of it all he ended up giving me a dollar and some change more back & gave me a $20 arcade card for my patience. After all of that I won't be back. They definitely lack professionalism. If the GM treated me like that, there's no hope for the staff. Yes, he fixed the issue & I should get over it, but the fact that I had to go back TWICE to get MY MONEY back that I was charged for whatever reason I was never told is crazy. read more

I had my birthday party here for the second year in a row. I booked ahead so we could reserve the lanes and the package included pizza. Pros: The events manager was very nice and friendly and accommodating. The lanes were smooth and even. There was a nice happy birthday sign on our table. Cons: The seat cushions were torn. Our waitress was not great. She seemed irritated by having to wait on us and couldn't keep up with the drink orders. I waited tables for many years and I know that stuff happens so I'm never judgmental about imperfect service but I am a stickler for attitude. We've been here three times, hoping that it somehow gets better. Unfortunately, it's always the same. First, it's extremely overpriced, considering the quality of the lanes, shoes, balls, etc... They have so many promotions and deals and prices, it's hard to say exactly what the base price of anything is. You pay for everything upfront. They always seem to assign lanes to people right next to each other when 75% of the alley is still open. The lanes are poorly maintained, always seems there a lane or two with dry spots that catch the ball. The balls they provide are fine, obviously never been cleaned. The ball return is also broken, only returning every other ball. We called for service but instead got a waiter...?? Speaking waiter, the food here is EXTREMELY overpriced and very low quality. Getting the idea? Overpriced, low quality. Find another alley. read more

Bowling area was jammed packed, on one side. My family and I requested 2 lanes but after the cashier talked to her manager (a lady), she wanted to fit 7 ppl in one lane! We get to our lane and the tables are all messy with another family taking up all the space. We just stood there not wanting to go in and bowl at all. Finally another manager (a guy) tells them to just put us on the right side of the bowling area with two lanes like how we requested. Nobody was even there! After the mess, bowling was actually fun! When we went to the arcade, there were teenagers loitering around all the games and not even playing! The area smelt like marijuana too. Ugh! Some people just want to ruin it for others. The websites do not post pricing, so I figured I would call and just simply speak to the front desk. Double checking their business hours, I called. No answer, but because its a simple question id rather not leave a message. Call back, no answer. Call a third time, no answer. Changed my location to Bowlero in Blain MN. Josh answered on the first ring. Was polite and answered my questions. It was a 3 min phone call that Brooklyn Park Bowlero was unable to accommodate. Scheduled an adult party...BLOWN AWAY! The staff at Bowlero in Brooklyn Park were on their game. I can't believe how much they shattered my expectations for my wife's 30th birthday party. I was a bit skeptical about what was claimed in the advertising, but for a very reasonable price per person, you get a couple hours of bowling, unlimited food that is unbelievably delicious, and a couple of drink tickets per person. The service was second to none and they made sure that we had an excellent night. When I say that the food was unbelievably delicious, I mean DO NOT EAT BEFORE YOU GO THERE. The menu is bar food. What you get served is your bar food but with a professional twist. It's not just some crap pulled out of a freezer. It's all cooked to order and replenished as needed. The chicken tenders were hand breaded and served in piles. The spinach and artichoke dip was the best I've ever had anywhere, served with some fancy parmesan pita bread stuff. The pizza was delicious as well. Having our own personal server for the party was fantastic as well. She was on top of our every need and very pleasant personality wise. He looked over at us a couple of times then walked over and asked her if she needed something. She told him and he proceeded to tell her she could've interrupted him. I asked about this and was told holiday pricing even tho Christmas has past and it was listed as normal pricing on the site. Took the family bowling this past weekend and after we waited a while to even get checked in to get a lane and longer still to get shoes (2 people working on a Saturday night??) we headed to our lane. We got our shoes on and started bowling the first frame when my wife went up to the bar to get us drinks. As she was standing in line at the bar, a server came over and asked what we'd like to order and I motioned to my wife that she had it covered and the server went up to her and told her she'd bring it. Well after about 20 minutes we finally get our 4 sodas and a beer and that was that, she never came back to see if we wanted refills or anything else. At the end of the night she asked if we wanted to pay the tab separately and I asked if we could just combine it with the bowling. Both her AND the front desk had taken our card to "ensure payment" before we even got started but I wanted to pay using cash and was assured that I could at the end and that the card was just to "hold" the charges in case and I quote, "we skipped out on them without paying". Ok, well that a lie. You see, the server went to the desk to have the add the bowling to our bill and I indeed paid her in cash for both the bowling and drinks then got $11 change to which I gave her a $5 tip which I thought was fair for bringing us 5 drinks literally 10 feet from the bar to our lane. Well sure enough, just like the other Yelp reviewer here, I had a charge on my bank account that posted this morning for $80 and some change for the bowling! THEY DOUBLE CHARGED US AND LIED TO OUR FACES!! DON'T GO TO THIS BUSINESS AND IF YOU DO, INSIST ON CASH ONLY AS THEY WILL DOUBLE BILL YOU!!
