I was actually impressed with this new location. The dining and entertainment areas were larger than I expected and the food and service were very good. It was also clean and inviting, not dingy and dark like the one in P.C. I only glanced at the menu prices but according to the host of the party, she would've spent just as much at D&B or having a party at her house. That's a good deal, especially if you're like me and don't wanna deal with dishes/cleaning after a house party..plus the kiddies have a lot more fun and room to run around in this place. The pizza and finger sandwiches were fresh and tasty, and the salad bar was just average. The gal helping our party was friendly and helpful, and constantly checked on our table(s). Parking is plentiful, even on a Sunday evening with 4 other birthday parties going on. This is my family's go-to location... Although we live out in Wahiawa, this one has waaaaayyy better pizza and a wider selection of wings. I mean that is what everyone else comes here for right?! the food?! well, i know i do! We usually like to get here as soon as it opens (11:00am) to give my son some run around time before we start doing errands, if we let him kill some energy it'll be easier on us. And it helps that we can get lunch at the same time.The workers are super friendly, as they should be, and always helpful...even when I always ask for a side of ranch for my pizza and wings. One note: Our party began at 11 am on a Sunday, and this location opens at 11am. When we booked we were told that we could come in 30 min early, but due to miscommunication, we arrived early and waited outside with no way to get in. Thankfully, we were let in 25 min early after explaining to the manager about what one of the staff members told us. This wasn't a typical accommodation so we appreciated his understanding. We had goody bags and wanted to prep the space before guests arrived. The space already had table cloths, cups and plates...no balloons. Cheese's pizza. I'm a huge fan of thin crust pizza, so their garlic powder dusted thin crust is a winner! I always order the BBQ chicken pizza (topped with fried onions!), their chicken wings and/or sampler platter, and dessert. I suggest getting the traditional buffalo or BBQ chicken wings. Don't get the boneless wings, as they're sometimes cold/not fried enough. It's really a hit or miss, depending on the cook. For dessert, try their churros or cinnamon bread sticks, or even a slice of their chocolate birthday cake. They're all surprisingly yummy. I detest coming to chucky cheese, but alas the kiddos love it so away we go :( 40 bucks get you a medium pizza and 4 drink and token. They call their medium pizza a large, uh, no, its a medium. This place is pretty expensive to come very often. I do like that this place isn't dirty and dingy like the one in Pearl city since its pretty new compared to that one. The wait staff is young, but their nice enough. Bathrooms are clean, but they don't have seat covers... me no likes. We threw a party here last year for my daughter for about 30 persons. Pretty pricey. But the set up was really nice, the kids loved it. My last visit in this location was by far disgusting AND disturbing. I witnessed a worker collecting trash THEN delivering the food to guest. I am so disappointed by our latest Chuck E. Cheese visit. Of course there's the overpriced pizza and general chaoticness, but I was prepared for that. What really disappointed me was Chuck E, himself! My daughter was really excited to see Chuck E for her birthday. We were there over two hours on a Friday night during spring break (super busy) and Chuck E only came out twice. He usually comes out and does a dance with the kids and then does a ticket toss. The first time he came out when we were there, he didn't even dance...just walked out with a plate of tickets, threw it on the ground, and walked away. He made his rounds around the room, barely waving or interacting with the kids who were all trying to get his attention. Since it was my daughter's birthday, we requested to have Chuck E come by to sing happy birthday to her. We had the cake and candles ready to go... He came out, waved to her, and kept walking. We had to chase him down and bring him back. The other staff members sang to my daughter as Chuck E stood there barely moving or interacting. An hour or so later, Chuck E came out to do the dance again. This time he did dance, but it was so lackluster. They turned the lights down, and I think there was supposed to be spotlights, but they weren't on, so it was just really dark. The music was playing pretty quietly. Chuck E was going through basic motions as he fiddled with his gloves. It was really sad and disappointing. Kids come to Chuck E Cheese to see Chuck E. It is a treat when they get to come and see him. To have the experience ruined by a Chuck E who clearly doesn't enjoy his job is unacceptable. Recently went to friends sons a birthday party here. Took a few pictures and posted them as well. At the end of the night I was going to write a review, but I realized that I was full of cake, caffeine and pizza so I decided to hold off a day or two provide a better uninfluenced and unbiased point of view. Like many other reviews, have stated previously, the location kind of gives you that South Central LA vibe as you are driving in. On the night in question, I noticed about six rather large (250lbs to 350lbs each), tattooed thuggish looking males to the far left of the entrance. Being the hard core thug that I am not, I dub-stepped my way up to the entrance in a giddy gangster fashion as fast as possible. Notable point, a family in front of me had children, all of which had to receive a stamp and were told that the children are not allowed to leave with anyone else but the parent or adult who has the same stamp as them. Makes sense. I then met up with the party I was there to meet, exchanged greetings and submitted my birthday offerings. My friend explained that they didn't have a reservation so there would be a special announcement about his son's birthday. This seemed really cool of Chucky Cheese, as evidently it cost like $10 per head, minimum of 10 heads to make a birthday reservation. I said cool, and made my way to get me some tokens. Second notable point, while in line a lady was nice enough to inform me about a deal I could on occasion get if I have the MidWeek newspaper. The one she showed me was 100 Tokens and 1 pizza for $30. This seems like a good pretty good tip to me. In any event, I played games with my friend's son and we all had a great time. He brought his own cake and there were other dishes that tasted pretty good as well. Salad, chicken wings, and cheese sticks. All of which I managed to get a little taste of before heading back over to set some high scores on the games. This is when I noticed that the group of large tattooed males I had seen on my way in to Chucky Cheese's were now walking around inside. Not wanting to show fear, I just continued to drive race cars, drive speed boats and roll coins in to slots for gift tickets. My friend called me over and the staff made a huge announcement and we all sang happy birthday to his son. We ate cake and more pizza and it felt really nice and personable, in light of the fact that my friend didn't have a reservation beforehand. And then came the confrontation... I came around behind a double gunned space alien shooting game just a little before (in my opinion) one of the large tattooed males. Stuck in a sort of standoff with this guy who outweighed me by an easy two hundred pounds, I did the only thing any self-respecting smaller guy would do. I was said, "What ....like play?" To my surprise he said "Shootz!" next thing I know we were like two of the biggest kids in the place running from game to game trying to beat the high scores and each other throughout the evening. It was almost like one of those scenes you see in a commercial we were having so much fun. And then, of course, reality kicked in when my friend tapped me on the shoulder to thank me for coming and let me know their party was over and they were heading home. I kind of feel bad that I beat his son in Fruit Ninja, but the way I see it, life isn't supposed to be easy, especially if you are four years old. All in all-Great place for Food Fun and Games Better to go with a kid if you have one or can barrow one. Sorry for those who are offended, but it seems as if the parents take their kids there just to let them throw a tantrum rather than to behave and have fun. I get it... they're kids. But when you have a kid screaming as if they're being brutally murdered then someone needs to talk to that kid. Here, kids are not like that. Well MOST KIDS. Rarely do you have a kid screaming their head off. Plus too... over here, they let you sit ANYWHERE except for the long tables that are reserved for the parties. Which is good because the pearl city they CLOSE OFF the tables in the party area for the parties which then makes the customers wait for seats. Don't really make it out to this location much. For the kids, though it was worth the drive. Its always a plus that each game is only a token which helps everyone especially families of 7 like us. The games are spread through the facility so the kids aren't crowded or banging into each other. As for the food, we ended up spending about $160 for two large pizzas, 8 drinks and 2 salad bars. It was a but pricey but worth it because we all left satisfied and full. The salad bar was full of options, with vegetables, salad dressings and other things. The pizzas we ordered were half cheese and half supreme to avoid the up charge of a full surpreme. All I gotta say, is that crust is simply amazing. Even before we had our daughter, Chuck E Cheese has been one of our favorite places to go for pizza! Something about the garlic oily-ness of the crust is what I love about it! Once my husband discovered their bbq chicken pizza he was hooked too! Now that we have a 19-month-old, it's the perfect excuse for us to frequent this place often! I like that it's easy to get coupons for Chuck E Cheese. I usually just check their website or the Hawaii Parent magazine because without coupons it can be a little expensive. Usually the coupons include a pizza, drinks, and tokens (the size of the pizza and amount of tokens/drinks varies on the coupon). We also usually get a large salad bar plate and try to fill it as much as possible since you're only allowed one trip per plate. The rides & games are always fun for my daughter. She's still a little unsure whenever she sees Chuck E. and the other characters in costume walking about but I think she's slowly warming up to them. This is a really great place to bring the kids! We appreciate the extra security measure taken to ensure your child's safety as they stamp your arm when you enter and check it when you leave to make sure that the child leaves with the adult they came with. read more

I gotta say...I love Chuck E Cheese! Well I have two boys, ages 9 and 6 who love going there. With all the places children can go to play games (Dave & Buster's, Fun Factory, Jungle Fun, Tiki's), I gotta say that Chuck E Cheese is the best deal in town. Why you ask? Well all the games all cost one token. It's the only place that still uses the old skool coins...everywhere else is the game cards which we all know is very easy to scan yourself to zero credits. The games are always being updated so you're not always playing the same old ones. They always have deals in the Hawaii Parent Magazine which you get free at local supermarkets and other locations for pizza, drinks and tokens and occasionally during the school breaks, the MidWeek has a deal for 100 tokens and large pizza for $30.99 Monday-Friday. Ok so the games are a bargain but what about the food? Chuck E Cheese has one of the best pizzas in town. Am I serious? Yes I am! The crust is not too thin but not doughy like Costco. It is crispy and coated with a garlic butter on the bottom. The sauce is a perfect blend of sweet and savory. If I'm not careful and the boys are more focused on playing games instead of eat, I can pound the entire large! Besides pizzas, they have wings, appetizers and salad bar. I haven't tried the wings or appetizers but the salad bar is decent. The only thing is that it is a one time trip through so gotta load um up. Rather than putting dressing on your mountain of salad, ask for the dressing cups on the side. If there is a downside at Chuck E Cheese, it would be the crowd. During the weekends, it can be super busy! I find the best times to go is right when it opens at 11am, weekdays or on holidays. One time, I took the boys on the 4th of July, totally empty! Like other locations they offer pizza, finger foods and a salad bar for those who are hungry (basically parents lol) while there is a plethora of games for kids. They are open every day ( weekends open earlier and close later), and there is ample parking. Chuck e Cheese also caters to birthday parties l, as they have packages starting at $10. PROS: Before, Chuck e Cheese used to have games that would cost anywhere from 1 token up to 4 tokens. But now every game costs only one token and every ticket game will give out a ticket. Very good for those who are on a budget with tokens. Their token/pizza combos are pretty good. If you do some digging, you can get better deals from the chuck e cheese coupons in the Sunday paper or from the military magazines. The only drawback is if you buy the coins by itself, it's $1 for 3 tokens, not the industry standard of 4 for $1. But it's not really a big deal. WORKS IN PROGRESS: I smelled something like BO when Chuck e Cheese came out to dance. Not sure if it was an employee or the guy in the costume, but it smelled like being in a gym. I know you can't fit that rat's head in the washing machine, but maybe you should steam clean it? I feel sorry for the guy that was wearing it. I've only been to Chuck E Cheese, once in my life and it was last year when visiting Atlanta. LOL. My boyfriend tells me that on the mainland Chuck E Cheese is notorious for having broken down machines and rides so I was concerned when my brother invited me here to spend time with him and his nephews. We arrived around 6:00pm and it were pretty "busy." There was no big parties, but lots of other families (it is summertime). We ordered a few items such as wings, pizza, drinks and the coins. I believe my brother paid for a package that came with 100 coins. We were SUPER surprised by how tasty the stuffed crust pizza is here. There's a garlic-y crust on it and it's so addicting. I'm craving it right now, just thinking of it. Although Chuck E Cheese is generally thought of for children, I found a few of the games pretty fun (I'm going to be 27 this year LOL). The pizza recipe has def changed since I was a kid but my kids don't complain. I have never heard of any incidents so their black light stamp system must be working. Get ready to read a novel because I have a heck of a lot to say about Mister Chuck E Cheese. I called to book a birthday party for my son's 6th birthday at Chuck E Cheese. I ended up having to physically drive to the store because I couldn't get enough information out of the worker that they had answering the phones. I tried to get party info from the Chuck E Cheese website but the pricing differs from store to store and I wasn't able to book online for stores in Hawaii. Lame with a capital L! So I took time out of my day to drive to Chuck E Cheese and I got to meet my nemesis, err I mean, hostess in person. She gave me a print out of what the birthday party entailed and I was really disappointed to see that you needed a minimum of 10 kids in order to have a birthday experience. The website said 4 kids but of course who cares about the website, its just the only information out there that your customer can decipher. I told her I only had 4 kids and she said that I could buy the party package for all the adults which would end up with 10 guests if I wanted. At $13 a pop without tax it was basically going to cost me almost $150 for my son to have: -A Chuck E Cheese foil balloon for my son -A Chuck E Cheese inflatable crown for my son -A Chuck E Cheese medallion for my son -A turn in the Ticket Blaster for my son -Chuck E Cheese paper hats for my guests -Chuck E Cheese paper plates and cups -2 slices of pizza and a small drink for each of my guests All I could say was - "You have got to be CHUCKING kidding me." I could totally see buying this package if I had 10 kids from my sons class but I really couldn't see wasting the money on my Grandma who certainly has no appreciation for mouse adorned party favors. I asked if there was a way that my son could go in the Ticket Blaster (A plastic capsule that your kid stands in and they blow inside the capsule and your child gets to keep all the tickets he/she is able to hold onto. It's pretty freaking cool if you're a kid.) even if we didn't do the party for 10 and they said no. Now this I find to be a huge fault in the Chuck E Cheese system because shouldn't making a child's birthday special be reason enough? Nope. Chuck needs you to pay a minimum of $150. Well Chuck, I'd tell you what I really think but as this is a review of a children's establishment I'll keep my dirty thoughts to myself. I decided to come back that evening as a walk-in with my 4 kids and 6 adults as my son was completely excited to be visiting Chuck E Cheese. It was either the Cheese or Dave & Buster's. It's like asking, do I eat garbage or poo? I choose garbage. I had poo last week. We walked in and the hostess stamped my hand, my BF's hand and my kiddies hands with a stamp. This is part of their Kid Safe program where you can only leave with a child that has a matching stamp to yours. The funny thing is that later on the evening I could have stolen a few kids and the guy at the front really could care less. He told my brother "Hey man, it's cool, no problem" when he tried to leave with my nephew. For a minute I contemplated having someone kidnap my son for a day from Chuck E Cheese so that I could own the store and stick my son in the Ticket Blaster for free. : P It really is cool. We ordered food from my nemesis at the counter. I had joined the website's e-club and had printed out two copies of a coupon that got us a large pizza (any toppings), 4 soft drinks & 40 tokens for $25.99. We used both coupons. It was a really good deal so be sure to get this coupon online. Knowing that I had saved almost $100 by using that coupon and not buying that party package made me feel so much better. That and how happy my son was with his birthday party. He played games, he opened his presents, he ate pizza and drank soda til he almost barfed. Really a dream day for a six year old! Even though you suck for adults Chuck E Cheese, you sure do know how to make little kids happy. This is really the only reason I left you with any stars. Children are so innocent and perfect that they don't know any better. I really wish that could last forever...and that you served beer and martinis. I remember when I was a little girl and my father used to take me to Chuck E Cheese. Had I known the torture he had gone through in order to spend hour upon hour at that God forsaken place, I think I would have been a better daughter to him. Sorry for all the lying and crying Dad, you really did take one for the team. Its payback time as I now am a parent and have to endure what seems like endless hours of Chuck E Cheese torture. I'm sure I'll be back at Chuck E Cheese again because this is a small island and everyone throws their birthday parties here. I've already been invited to two this summer. Shoot me. Chucke e Cheese was so much nicer when it was at Aina Hina. It was so much less crowded and the families that seemed to go there took better care of their children- so my opinion now for kalihi is that there is more running and less organization. Chucke e Cheese when we were there now has a cute fake line dance electric slide where Chucke e Cheese stands on the ski ball lanes with a few crew members and they sing and dance like 2 numbers and then throw a few tickets. Good to have a few activities where the keiki don't need to have a ton of tokens- that and there is the slide up tubes, and then the show for birthdays. It's not my way to just give more and more tokens until I'm broke- there are a few other things to do and otherwise I would never get them to sit and eat for a minute if I didn't do something. We've gone to at least 2 birthday parties- I know my one friend knows the owner and got an early booking and was allowed into the place 30 min before official opening. Having that time without outside families in was wonderful for our birthday group. I know at the bill at the end he dropped like $300. I wouldn't have thought it was that expensive but everything little thing adds up so much. Chucke e Cheese tries to make holidays more special. Halloween all the crew members are in costume- know that some of the workers are still in high school so some of the costume choices are more than questionable - don't know if that is on purpose or what but sometimes it could be cleaned up better. Christmas has at least a tree and little things that make it feel better. Chucke e Cheese is one of those pieces of Americana that is among the most controversial. What could be controversial you ask about pizza, video games and stuffed animal people??? - well to a 5 year old- nothing, but to adults there is a need to know factor. I don't go there often and there are reasons. First off- why does Chucky advertise on both PBS and Disney tv and cable? I believe that any show targeting children under 5 years old should only advertise is spinach or broccoli and at the very most Chiquita banana even though they support death squads in central America for their production interests- because keiki need their bananas though to eat. Next price- there are coupons which make the prices more reasonable but you need to print and have coupons ready before ordering. Food- if it can be called food, it really is the lowest quality food stuffs, with basic flour, oily cheese and subpar old materials used as filler. The sauce has sugars added to keep keiki addicted to the product even though it has no taste. Games- belief what you would like about video gaems- but keiki under a certain age should never have exposures to the lights and flashes of the games. It is too much stimulus for them and combine that with salt and sugar and you do have the means to make children more likely to be susceptible to add or adhd symptoms. Even now there are only some warnings about seizer possibilities. If you let your 13 yr old play games for days- that is your choice. If you plan to have a healthy childhood for your 3 year old- don't let them play high intensity flashing video games. Call me a nut if you like - but it does reduce the ability of some children to pay attention during their schooling years. I really don't like to have 1 yelp event review after another- so I do have to work even harder to write more quickly. read more

Check Keiki Magazines for coupons on pizza and tokens! I'm not ashamed to say, I'm a Kid at Heart! I love this location! I drive all the way from Wai'anae passing the Chuck E. Cheese location in Pearl City just to come out to Kalihi's! The space of this location seems bigger and more room to move about. Even though it's a pain to find parking at certain hours, if you try to go after 6pm...parking is easy. The food is always great and hot! The servers try to quickly get your order to you. For me, I like sitting closest to where they come out of the kitchen so its piping hot! From pizzas to hot wings and my favorite cinnamon sugar desert pizza! The Salad Bar is always loaded with fresh veggies and if they run out, just let the team members know and they're quick in bringing out the cart full of vegetable goodness! If you're like me, I use the tray to pile on the veggies! You can only go through once, so try to make it count! One thing that has changed since the summer is that they don't have the token bonuses if you use $10 or $20 bills. The price of toke is close to $.33...but the good news is that its still 1 token per game! Always new games to play and not too many long lines on the good ones! This location is great for parties, especially if you're fundraising or having an event. The team members are friendly and always willing to help out and make your experience enjoyable! I love bringing my friends who haven't been to Chuck E. Cheese in a long long time for their birthdays. You can ask the cashier when you're ordering food for a 'birthday cake' and you can choose from vanilla or chocolate, they'll ask the name of the birthday person and give you a number. When you're ready, Chuck E. Cheese himself and a team member will come to you and sing! Best part Ever!! Every 30min of the hour, Chuck E. Cheese puts on a performance...and if you dance with him, he'll toss a bunch for free tickets in the air for the kids to grab. I love watching my nephews and my baby bro dance! All in all, always great for the family or even a few friends! read more

If you decide to spend here...arrive full from eating at another cheaper and better quality establishment and spend on drinks and games for the children. Food: The menu is very pricey. A lot for a little amount. Pizza-it's not a pizza joint. Buffalo wings-it's not like "Hooters." Fries-can't even describe what the hell it's like...and it's not that great. Service: Great service. Staff was very helpful and ready to clean up the tables as soon as they saw we and others were finished. What was great about this establishment was that they also help with school fundraising. Atmosphere: A whole lot better than their previous location at Aina Haina. More space and a newer feel to the "Brand of Chuck E. Cheese's." It's not super clean. They have many game machines that are on their last legs and a carpet that has suffered untold abuses. And during peak hours it can be crazy and make you feel a bit like screaming. However. My kids LOVE this place. And it's cheap. One token per game? Nice. Free jungle-gym thingie? Cool. Even though the wall prizes start at five bajillion tickets, as long as we accrue enough to barter for a few plastic snakes my progeny leaves happy. We have attended quite a few birthday parties here, but most recently we were treated to what must have been the top-tier birthday package as we encountered things I have NEVER seen at Chuck E Cheese. For example, I have never seen a sandwich platter before. I did not know they made sandwich platters. And nice plastic cups with twisty straws and deluxe goodie bags and mounds of tokens for every child. We were the fricken' royalty of Chuck E Cheese that day with our lavish spread of chicken wings and pizzas and wraps and fries and salads and aforementioned sandwiches and kids running about with tokens and tickets flying from their little sticky fingers like ballers. It took me a LONG time before coming to this location. I was always under the impression it would be ghetto since it's located in Kalihi. The environment surrounding the location is a little unnerving, especially at night BUT upon entering I was surprised! In comparison to the Pearl City location, this one is much larger. The game area is just a little spacier where crowds can kinda maneuver around each other. The area for parties is also more roomy for kids to come up front and dance. If I'm ever in the Kalihi area and feel an itch to take the kids out to Chuck E. Cheese, I'd definitely come back. And I'm leaving this review based on a birthday party I attended on a Friday night. Sure, the party was at 8pm, so it's kinda late, but there wasn't a crowd to fight with. So overall, it was an enjoyable experience! read more

Took my son here on Sunday to play some games. The games are all one token which is nice. Sometimes in the Sunday paper they have coupons or you can sign up on the website. I usually print out some coupon online so my son can get tickets by playing online games. A good selection of games for young children. Always busy when we have gone there but so many games so you don't have to wait in line. The prize selection that you trade your tickets in were very small selection this past Sunday we went. My son was excited to trade in for a prize but there was nothing that he wanted. They seem not to stock up the prizes very often. Not as many games as Pearl City location but this location is closer to where we live. read more
