It was a busy saturday and had a last min birthday party. My daughter is autistic with some sensory issues. This was first time at a chuck e cheese for her. The employees rocked! They even gave us candles that we forgot. Everything was kept up and there were enough staff around to ease my nerves. I think we will definitely be back. Its a 45 min drive but well worth it. I have been to Chuck E Cheese's only 1 time EVER in my life. This was my second time (this time as an adult), and it not only let's a kid be a kid, it let's an adult be a kid! I liked this place because it was set up well for big kid parties and had games that were fun for all (ie: Fruit Ninja was there!). Granted, you don't get very many tickets for winning and the prizes suck (but, really, what do you expect?) There were also employees ALL over the place, so if the kids needed help, they literally could just turn around and get it from them. When I was there, they also had a little gathering where four of the employees helped the kids learn a dance (cupid shuffle). They were patient, fun, and enthusiastic with the kids. My bf's niece and nephew had a great time here. I would definitely come back on another babysitting day with them! read more

For some odd reason, it says they're closed today (Saturday) but they're open lol. That should probably be changed. We arrived and as usual it's super packed, especially on a weekend. We walked around and couldn't find two empty tables near each other so I asked one of the employees (I think she was a manager) if she can have someone clean off these two dirty tables that seemed to have been deserted. We waited and waited and still no one. I went and asked the lady again and he finally came to clean it. Some of the machines malfunction way too frequently. It kind of kills the vibe when you're tryna find someone to fix the game or give you back your tokens every now and then. It's pretty crowded in there and they could have more games. Their pizza isn't as good as it used to taste. Tastes like cardboard lol but I only like their unlimited salads since you choose what you want for yourself. read more

If you haven't been to Chuck E Cheese for a while, you may or may not be disappointed that it is no longer a token per game but now works on a card swipe-err- tap (like apple pay or something). And its 10 to 15 "points" per swipe. Games that use tokens dispense 1 token at a time per swipe (15 points). I'm sure there are still killer coupons online but I haven't checked for a while. It has gone up in cost per kid and I considered it a budget friendly place of you didn't order food and all that. Also, the staff is kind but we had trouble with the machines taking points but not starting but the tech didn't offer a few game or anything where as the previous manager would always "comp" games if it took your token. When we entered the premises we were told to stand on the side and wait for a manager to escort us to the back to take us to our tables. As we waited a second group of people came in, they were seated first even though we had been waiting there, saying oh I thought she said serenity, my sisters name is Kennedi. Then we found a roach in that was crawling over the pizzas, the manager refunded us for two of the pizzas. also we ordered a half pepperoni half cheese pizza, and there was pepperoni littered on the cheese. don't you think half of it is cheese for a reason? We brought our little one to the Chuck E. Cheese's in Elk Grove for the first time before heading out trick or treating last Friday evening. The employees gave out 50 free tickets for each child that was dressed in a costume which was pretty nice. We didn't have any of their food (I'm not much of a fan) since we were going out later anyway so we just played some of their games. I was surprised that this location actually has more of a variety in terms of games and / or rides compared to the one on Arden and the place was a whole lot cleaner. Had my son Benjamin's 4th birthday party here on Saturday and loved our experience. Jessica was our party host and she was absolutely amazing! She kept me informed on how parties work there, she came and found me on the floor when I was chasing around the kids. She even gave Benjamin some extra tickets from the Ticket Blaster after he only caught a few. They have more food choices here compared to other party venues, very clean and the staff here is very nice and attentive. Would highly recommend, and we will definitely come back! 102 bucks WHAT?!? 40 bucks for 2 large pizzas WHAT they were not worth the money. Who do they think they are Mountain Mike's? And then I bought 3 play cards for 70min of play. After pausing one to eat it didn't work. I asked for either a refund or a new card with adjusted min. They accused me of trying to pass an empty card off. EXCEPT I had my receipt. Jokes on you manager. So then he said he would only give me 20 min to replace the 30 we lost. Why he couldn't give me the whole 30? His claim was it's company policy... Umm what policy is that exactly? Couldn't give me any further explanation. I give this place a 1 star my kids had fun, but it was understaffed, and the food was awful. Came with my family for my Brother's birthday party, immediately after walking through the doors I was hit with a strong odor, I'm currently sick so I couldn't normally smell, but this stench was so bad I could smell it. I can't imagine what it would be like for a healthy person. Party goes on We get some pizza, pizza was sub par, cardboard and greasy as hell but honestly my expectations were low anyway so it didn't bother me too much. Next to our booth was a jeopardy coin drop machine, some kid was sitting there dropping a coin and then shaking the machine which set off an alarm, after doing this about 5 times my Dad set off to complain, and while he's doing that the kid's mom walks over and actually starts helping him cheat. Eventually a worker came by and stopped them. I witnessed this same worker patrol past a kid who was standing on the basketball game and he didn't bat an eye, that's simply a safety concern. A far far fall from the scary(but oh so cool) rat I remember so back in like 95 they revamped the mascot to a 'cute' mouse and that's whatever and as we got into the millenia so did the restaurant. Essentially an indoor play arena with some new fangled card reading games no more tokens tickets are still the awards and the prizes are still outrageously high but hey its not about winning dollar store toys it's about the fun. So in a nutshell little ceasers quality pizza kids running crazy and a basic(but not bad) salad bar go for the fun not for the nice quiet dinner. read more

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Nick at the front desk was extremely rude and inconsiderate. My 5 year old daughter is in tears as we drive away from the building. Apparently only one family is allowed in at a time even though it says that NO WHERE online and the sign at the front door says their compacity is 118 people. Then when we asked him how much the packages were, he said $175 and up. When I asked if there was anyway to just play the games without getting food, he said no and that if I didnt want to pay their price, that someone else would. We ended up deciding to leave and I turned around before we were even out the door and he was gone. I called for someone by saying excuse me multiple times and he purposely ignored me and waited a few minutes before coming out of the back to finally talk to me. I have video of the incident and have no issue sharing it with those who would like to see as well. Don't go to this facility unless you want crappy customer service from people who shouldn't be working at a children's play place. read more

I love this chuck e cheese! Chuck E came out almost every half hour and gave the kids free tickets. The ges are really convenient because each machine is only one quarter or token. Every time you purchase something there is a link to take a two question survey. They give you a few tickets, but occasionally they will have limited time offer where If you take a survey you can get 100 tickets! They also have an app called skate universe and I won 480 tickets off of that game. The pizza is probably a 7 out of 10. But the cheesy bread was a whole other level! Came to the Elk Grove location hoping that the atmosphere would be better then the Stockton location. Huge mistake the whole experience here was horrible it started with them neglecting to make sure that my father in law and not being stamped in with our party no big deal right well I've got three little girls that I'd like to know can't be taken outside without me. Our 50 dollar pizza might as well had been cardboard and I would've been better off going to little ceaser for a 5 dollar pizza. The salad bar if you can call it that with the little bit of topping that they do offer was bone dry and I actually had to yell for a worker to pay attention to not just me but the line of people behind me waiting to be able to get lettuce just so they can continue to be disappointed. And god forbid the bathroom not only was it dirty but not one of three soap dispensers actually had soap and even the hand sanitizer in the hall was empty. read more

Don't book a kids party here! Seriously. Here's why, they did not tell us that there will be 5 other parties going on at the same exact appointment. I expected I get an 30 min or an hour so to myself for the booking. Not so. It's an book all you can whether it's 6 or 7 parties at 12pm then 1pm, 2pm etc. . And when you sing happy birthday, 5 parties will be singing along the music at the same time with different names. It's a circus. This location has gone downhill! Took my grandkids for a visit 1/9/19. Long lines, not enough staff to accommodate (free machine play) day. Went early evening and the lines continued to grow, shame on management for not having more staff. I purchased pizza (decent) and 2 (30 min free game play cards, 1 worked, the other didn't. I paused the play card that worked (18 min left) while I tried to resolve the card that didn't. Manager Give me a new card and stated it had 18 minutes left on it, I said that makes no sense I brought it to you because it doesn't work how are you going to tell me I have 18 minutes, my old card that works has 18 minutes and she said sorry I can't help you. The salad bar was dirty and all the items needed to be filled. Some random lady walks up to me and says is this Chuck E. Cheese always so disastrous. I told her yes, everything has gone DOWNHILL. I told everyone that has kids and grandchildren not to waste their time going there, It will be worth the 25 minute drive to take them to another Chuck E. Cheese. read more

For a Chuck E Cheese, this location is pretty decent. I was here for my nephew's birthday party. The staff did a great job hosting the party. It was a bit crowded, but the party was on a Friday night and that was to be expected. One thing that I really appreciated was that the upon entering the facility, each family member was stamped with a glow in the dark number. Before you could leave, you had to show the number and they would verify that all matched. This prevents any psycho from taking off with your child. We recently had our son's 7th birthday at this location. Let's just say it was fabulous. Last year we had it at this location too but we decided not to pay for their party but just do our own thing. There is a reason that they offer party packages.....it's not to charge you more....it's to make your life easier! We loved it. Kaitlyn was our party host. She is wonderful at her job, assertive and great with kids. She took care of everything and as the mom that normally makes sure everything is perfect myself it was such a relief to have this wonderful young woman do everything that I would normally have to do. My wife, daughter and I came here for lunch and so my daughter could experience some games and burn some energy. Food was overpriced for quality, high chair was completely dirty, i asked an employee where the high chairs were and I was told I "i dont know" with a blank stare on her face. Tables were dirty, toddler rides were sticky with spilled soda on them and some rides had no seat belt or only half. No more token. Play pass card very disappointed. Each game take at least 15 point to play. It used to take us an hour to play with 120 token. Now it 1200 credit . Take about 10 minutes. Done before the pizza arrive. The new games pay less ticket too. I think it another way for Chuck E to take advance of our kids and make profit. If they loose their card then you screw. I won't be coming back here. I think I'll be taking them to Dave &Buster instead. At least their food and prizes are much better. Shame on Chuck E I hope you happy with yourself. read more

This will probably be my last time at CC again. It's just a waste of money. I liked taking the kids here every couple months just because it's close to the house and the kids like it. They recently changed the value of the coins so you don't get a coin for a quarter. The games are pretty stingy with tickets too. $10 will get you a couple pieces of candy and a cheap plastic toy. Pizza isn't very good either. The best thing about this location is that it's cleaner than the other ones I've been to. read more

I used to take our daughter to Arden location when she was little. Of course when this location popped up we had to give it a try. Its good I guess for a arcade place. She still likes some of the arcade games they have and basketball game. Everytime we have her cousin we come, he's almost four he has so much fun. I think they should raise the entry price a bit.
