Adj: Small but Sufficient…read more This is a nice little residential park just south of the Costco on Elk Grove Blvd. It's pretty small, but it's never crowded and that maybe the best thing about this neighborhood park. For a quick trip for kids to let off steam or for a short exercise routine, this park fits the bill. Recently, it was fenced off for some updates. Turns out CSD resurfaced the 2 little playgrounds' rubber flooring. I have mixed feelings about the synthetic material used for kids play areas, but they are more cushiony than places with bark or sand playgrounds. Overall, this is a well maintained and comfortable park to take a walk, run laps, walk the dogs or bring the kids to. A little place with a lot to offer. Check it out!

This park isn't as fancy as the others in EG but then it's also usually empty or not busy which is nice. Lots of open space, manicured fields for a soccer or vball games. It's all good. It's very close to the EG Costco too so it's also a nice place to bring some deli ready to eat meals and salads and sandwiches here from Costco for an in impromptu picnic when the weather is nice like it's been lately. All in all, a small but well kept park that's not so popular for some peace and quiet and for kids to let out their energy, quite safe too since it's not big so it's easier to keep an eye on the younguns. One star knocked off for the playstructures being close to the street (the round about) as you can see from one of my pics, one of the structures is right by the street close to the stop sign. I think it would've been better if they play areas are more toward the center if the circular park, just pave some paths so people can walk towards the middle, that would be better for safety for adults and kids alike.

I live nearby and have been coming here since it was first built, and my daughter has been visiting since she was a baby -- and somehow still enjoys it even now as a teenager. The playground has some classic features kids love. The big boulder is always a favorite for jumping off of, and the old-school monkey bars are still going strong for a reason. There's even a teeter totter, which my daughter and I still hop on sometimes just for fun. The park has also been updated since the original structure burned down. I really appreciate that much of the ground now uses tire material and some foam padding instead of bark. It helps keep the play areas from getting overly hot on little feet and adds a little extra cushion for falls. There's plenty of seating and a shaded picnic area that works well for birthday parties or just relaxing while the kids play. The soccer fields and big grassy area are also great for running around or casual games. One feature that's easy to miss is the beautiful pollinator corner at the Fassett Street side of the park. There's a small plaque explaining it, and it's such a thoughtful addition to support bees and other pollinators. Helpful tip: bring a blanket or snacks and plan to stay awhile -- there's plenty of space to spread out and explore. Final verdict: absolutely worth it.

There are 4 beautiful baseball fields with restrooms (that were locked because there weren't any games being played. There are extensive concrete sidewalks all over the park. The description indicates a skatepark (which is south of the dog park) but it was a disappointment and very small. (just a few grinding steps) There was a full basketball court and a community center building It's a large, beautiful park with a splash park by the playground. No convenient restrooms were the one negative for us.

But honestly, what really blew me away was the restroom. I know that sounds like an exaggeration, but I'm serious! So many park restrooms are cold, dark, dirty, and lacking privacy. This one felt downright luxurious. It is completely temperature controlled, which was especially nice since it was breezy outside! It was warm, well lit, exceptionally clean, and had absolutely no odor. It even sounded like it had a great ventilation system running. The only minor downside was the lack of toilet seat covers, but that's an easy fix. The entire park feels pretty new with a beautiful, modern design, conveniently located right behind the Sky River Casino. Highly recommend checking it out! Rate: 10/10

We saw a few people shooting hoops. There were a few families with their toddlers playing on the playground. A few were enjoying the sunshine with a book! It also has a small parking lot. You can enjoy the picnic area as well. It does have a walking pathway. Oh! I didn't check out the restroom, it has one.

Came here on a weekend afternoon and this time, we hit the pickleball courts. I've not even been to…read morethis part of the park, could've fooled me, all this time I thought these were tennis courts, haha. Just goes to show how much I know. My kids started playing pickleball, and came to a clinic taught be a coach. It was good times. The courts are nice, they are heavily used according to the wife, as tons of people from all around town come here to play quite competitively in the mornings. Recreational players who are so good, they look like pros to us. Anyways, lots of retired folks and others who come to play because this is a great sport for all. Well, the kids look like they have enjoyed it so far, it looks to be fun. There's 6 courts here and very spacious. Nets look in good condition, courts look good too, the pavement looks a little worn here and there, but I also could tell it's all kept up pretty well. The fence here is good too, so it's pretty secluded, there's some seating w/a couple of tables w/a shaded patio cover right by the courts for resting if not playing. I took a few pictures of the BBQ area so I'd remember how much room there is for future parties, plenty of picnic tables and the water feature/spray park area is nice too. That part won't start till after Memorial Day, according to the wife. It was windy the day we came for pickleball, but I ended up playing a few games too after the clinic ended, and wife and I both had a good workout and it was fun. Must work these old bones or we'll fall apart, haha We'll be back.

There are pickle ball and tennis courts, basketball courts, playgrounds for kids, walking trails, and exercise equipment (great pull-up bars). The size of the park is huge so I can't see this park feeling too crowded even if there are a lot of people here. Plenty of curbside neighborhood parking. Everything appeared to be well maintained, clean, and new. Quiet too.

This park or recreation center is huge ! It sits on 21 beautiful Acres right next to Stone Lake Elementary School. This is one of Elk Groves Park and Recreation Premier Parks in Lakeside. The park is a perfect fit for the active life style of today's family. With 3 large baseball / softball diamonds / soccer field / tennis courts / 2 large covered gazebos for parties , barbecues, / a kids playground / clean restrooms / and a 40 car parking lot. The sport complex is very clean and well maintained. A perfect gathering place the whole family . Whether your into sports or not this park has something for almost everyone . The one star deduction was for all the traffic around the park. Being next to an elementary school can get a little crazy when school gets out . Over all a 4 star performance !
