They have snacks available for purchase, plus complimentary tea, coffee, and water for parents, which was such a nice touch. We stopped by on Saturday for Open Play and Mirarose played for 2 full hours! Our 1 year old's favorites: sensory play on their round gel floor tiles and playing inside their colorful cube pit! Their were a lot of social butterflies here, but our tot was a bit nervous to interact. Open play is catered to ages 0-6, but older siblings may enjoy playing dress up on their stage and their art studio! We also took home a book from their free little library our 8 year old has been reading and plan to replenish their stock our next visit! Open Play is $17 with 1 adult included, $5 for infants, grip socks are required! No play limit! They sell plenty of snacks and drinks, even Girl Scouts cookies and offer free coffee! My wife saw a special Valentine's Day event happening on 2/14/26, at Space to Play, located on Elk Grove Florin Road in Elk Grove, CA. We took our toddler daughter for the event and later to play. My daughter had fun dressing up, decorating cookie before eating it, small painting on her hand (we were afraid she would smear face painting in her eyes), painting in the art space, and much more. We brought our granddaughter here for a play day. We have tried Enchanted with our grandson, who is older, and he enjoyed the larger venue. Space To Play is perfect for younger children. There are plenty of areas for them to explore. She enjoys climbing and the structures are just the right size for smaller children. There is a craft area as well. We had such a great time at this indoor play area! They've really thought of everything to make it fun for the kids and relaxing for the parents. There's a separate painting area where little artists can get creative without worrying about the mess. A huge win in my book! I also really appreciated that there's a special zone just for the newly walking toddlers, so they can explore safely without getting accidentally trampled by the bigger kids racing around. Parents aren't forgotten either! There are plenty of tables where you can sit and enjoy the free coffee (yes, FREE!) or feed your kiddo some snacks when they need a break. It's nice not to feel like you're just pacing around the whole time. Another highlight was the costume corner where kids can play dress up -- such a cute touch and it kept them entertained for ages. And of course, the big slide was the ultimate favorite, the kids must have gone down it a hundred times and still weren't ready to leave! Cute new indoor play center in old Elk Grove! They just opened up this week so we came to check it out, since it was raining outside today. They open at 8am everyday, which is awesome! A lot of kids places don't open until later in the morning but if you're a parent, you know that they're ready to get that energy out first thing in the morning! When we walked in, the lady explained everything to us thoroughly. They have complimentary tea and coffee available for the parents, and even free amenities like wipes and diapers, and phone chargers to use! There are a few tables near the drink area, and a couple of tables and couch in the main play area. If your kid is more independent it's definitely doable to bring your work while they play! Lots of fun play areas and things to do, despite it being a smaller size play center! I thought it was fairly priced for the size of the place. It was $12 for 2 hours and $10 for a sibling. Two hours was plenty of time here. They have a fun glow in the dark room with lights and a slide and a calm Animal Planet type show. They should probably screen the shows though because I walked in at one point and it was showing baby cubs eating a dead zebra... It's a cool concept in the room but not a ton to do, plus it's super dark. The colors and decor are all done really well! And it feels very clean and open, which it should since it's brand new! It'll be interesting to see how they evolve and if they plan to rotate toys or the layout as they're open longer. It was pretty cold inside when we went. They're probably trying to account for body heat which makes sense because I hate when indoor play places are so hot! But since we were one of two families at the time, it was freezing cold so just bring a jacket in case! I provided my feedback to the owner on Instagram and they were super receptive to it. They ask for feedback when they come in so just know that they are open to bad or good, just tell them so they can improve on it and know what people like! Overall great spot, we will definitely be back because it's so close to home. I think I saw on their Instagram you can pay a little more for an all day pass and come as you wish all day! I've come here with my kids about 3 times because I wanted to be sure of my experience before making this review. Each time I entered, I had met two workers, and one was I believe the owner who was absolutely the sweetest person. The other worker who sat it in the front and checked us in on the other days was not welcoming at all and had an attitude. Not a person that should be greeting families or children for that matter. She was not approachable and looked like she didn't want to even be there. Now for my main issue, this place is not at all CLEAN. While the owner was there she did organize and put things back where they go, the did not sanitize one single thing while I was there each time I went. NOT. ONE. SINGLE. THING. I was shocked at this my first time I went there. We spent about 2 hours and 30 mins there and nobody cleaned or wiped one thing down. This happened all three times I was there, and for a place advertised toward children it's honestly sad. While we do sign a waiver that includes it's not their fault if our kids get ill, I find it sad that they can't take time to clean up their hot hub areas and toys. When I last went there it was filthy towards the end of the night and they only started to clean since it was closing time. There is a tiny "yuck bucket" for dirty toys but come on. Why pay someone to sit behind a counter for hours when they could be making a difference and wiping germs away so people can feel more at ease. Unfortunately my child got hand foot and mouth disease from this place and we will not be returning. I am also posting this as a beware to other families of young children that while the concept is amazing, not providing upkeep and just a clean space to play is putting our kids in danger. And for the high price it is to come in, I don't recommend you do. read more

I love doing play dates here. It's a perfect size spot for children to run around and you can sit still and see your child from where you're sitting. They allow you to bring in food which is amazing and they promote working from home mamas! There's tables and outlets for laptops. They do recommend socks, so don't forget to bring socks! I also think it's great that they have a little donation area for diapers and wipes. So if you ever forget diapers or wipes they have them there for you. If I could give them 4.5 stars I would. I deducted a star because last time I came with 3 children and me and my adult sister. The worker tried to charge me an extra $5 for my adult sister, which was confusing because their policy says each child comes with admission for 1 adult. I had asked if one of the kids are hers wouldn't she be free? Which she was but the child had to be $15 instead of $12. So I basically paid $3 for my sister to come in with me. I feel like their policy should be a little bit clearer because the first time I came with a friend and I paid for her and her kids and my friend was free. Also, the first time I came I saw a dad just walk in when meeting his wife and kid (one kid). Otherwise this place is amazing and I don't mind paying extra, just wish it was a consistent price every time I come. read more
