My kids (aged 6 and 4) had a great morning here. We got here just when they opened at 10am and for the first two hours it wasn't hot or crowded. We got to do all the rides with minimal wait. The swings and the roller coaster in particular were a lot of fun. They also had some pretty reasonably priced popcorn ($5 for a large) and a face painter ($15 per design) which my kids loved. Admission was a bit pricey since the adults were charged too, so for a family of 4 it was over $80, but the wristbands allow for all day play. Come early to get parking! read more

Such a totally cute place and great for kiddos 2-10! There was a recent mandate banning all outside food and drinks including water bottles. That was huge shocker but they have water at the concession stand and fountains around the park. The rides were pretty good and seemed maintained. I love that they have food sweet and savory. I only wish the fries were made to order because they are pre-cooked and sit in a warmer with the churros....which I did have along with the nachos. I would never give my business to this place. They did a piss poor job of managing their own 80th Anniversary event (2/6/2026). Hundreds of families with their distraught children waiting to either get into the park or buy their promotional season passes. There were people waiting in line for over 6 hours but got turned away because the park is closing. This company then decided to remove their Instagram and Facebook posts of this event due to hundreds of complaints about our horrifying experience. A park that is supposed to bring joy to kids and families but didn't give a damn about putting their customers in line for over hours with kid melting or melted down. I would rather give my money and patron the zoo or Fairytale town than to give this place a penny. Then again, this place should just be like a penny, disappear from existence. read more

My daughter and I went here for a birthday party. We had not been here before so it was nice to go somewhere new. Plus it was a beautiful day to enjoy some fun outside. When we walked up there was no line which was nice and you could see some fun happening behind the gates. At the front there was a handmade sign that said no outside food and in smaller print no water bottles. The employees at the front greeted us for checkin and the next thing they said to me was no outside food and no water bottles. I understand that they want to sell the carnival food they serve which is fine however I don't understand the no water bottle policy. My child brings her reusable water bottle everywhere with her and with the amount of water she drinks I would still have to buy water to refill it. Inside the park it was clean and there were 8 rides running and one (the roller coaster) was out of commission. Out of the 8 available my two and a half year old could ride 5 of them which was great. The lines weren't too long and each attendant was pleasant at the entrance of the rides. There are a few little pay to play interactions in the middle of the park and my daughter loved the fact she could get her face painted. The party area was nicely shaded and off to the side away from the busy park goers. It looked like they have 4-5 party areas (I couldn't tell if the 4th one was multiple areas or if it's one big space) For being a kiddy party area it was very clean and well maintained. I cannot comment on the food they sell because we were still full from the pizza that was ordered with the party package. Everything looked good and the pizza wasn't bad. One of the other parents got a soda and it was huge for a large. One other thing to note is the restrooms are outside the main gates unless you want to use a porta potty. To my surprise they were very clean. Overall this is a great place for littles to go on rides and hang with friends. Such a fun place! Rides are more geared towards elementary kids and younger. We went on a weekday and there was barely any lines. The only time there was a line was to just wait for the next loading. Funderland is in Land Park which means there's a lot of trees and a lot of shade. We went when it was 96 degrees and it wasn't that hot since there was a lot of shade. The kids went on every ride except Squirrelly whirl and flying dragon since they needed an adult to go with them. The teacups were closed. Oscar the fisher had a MAXIMUM height restriction of 42 in so we couldn't go on that one. Their favorite was the Wild Stagecoach (the kids loved going backwards!) and the Red Baron planes. We were there for 3 hours and they went on 13 rides. They went on each ride 2-3 times. Different rides have different age and height restrictions so look on the website in advance and plan accordingly. The best height to go with kids that are more independent would be over 42" since they'll be able to go alone. Most rides will require 42" and under to have an an adult to go with them. read more

We drove to Sacramento on a whim and wanted to do something with the kids, we've done the zoo and fairytale land in the past but my kids begged to do Funderland. My kids are older, 12 & 7, so I had somewhat low expectations thinking they would be too big for the park, but man did they have fun. We literally opened and closed the place. It's kind of a smaller sized park and I loved that they got to run all over the place, back and forth between rides! And seriously, shout out to all the amazing workers, specifically the gentleman who took the time to know my daughter's name and say hi to her or rizz her up some whenever he'd see her. I've been to this place with my kids a couple of times and thought to bring my youngest for an afternoon of fun. When I looked online, prices were $10, but when I got the the gate, the man charged us $68! He said $18 for adults- mind you I just had knee surgery and can't bend my knee enough to even sit on these rides, & $25 per kid (2yo & 9yo) , even the people behind me in line yelled out, "DID HE SAY $68!!!!" As he was just as surprised as I was. Its ridiculous! After we paid, the man says, they can ride 7 of the rides, 3 are broken inc the roller coaster. I just feel as though this information should have been ran by me before I swiped my card, but okay, moving on. If you've been to funderland, you know the rides are over 25 years old. & NO they don't have any new rides! Yes, many are broken which holds up the lines. & as the reviews state, yes, the food is very expensive with their $9 corn dogs . We came here for a birthday party and my kids had so much fun. $17pp for unlimited fun. This place isn't big which is kind of nice. For a Sunday, it wasn't super busy so we hardly had to wait in any lines. My youngest, 5, was tall enough for all the rides and my oldest, 7, was too tall for 1 ride. Adults were able to go on some of the rides. I rode the roller coaster, the tea cup, the swing, the carousel, and the train. My kids didn't want to leave. My kids absolutely love Funderland. It is a great outdoor amusement park where they are able to socially play. They love riding on the train, the buggies, the airplane, and the carousel. There is a new addition of an obstacle course with a big slide that they enjoy. Sadly, the park is closed until February. read more

I stumbled upon this place online looking for somewhere to take our little one to, and I am so glad I did. This was such a fun spot for our 7 year old. I am not sure if kids over let's say 10 would be into it, but it was perfect for our age group. Once you buy entrance tickets kids can ride the rides as many times as they want. There's some food/drink options, but not a ton. They had a woman doing facepaint which is a dream for a 7 year old. It's a great place to kill a few hours. They have party areas, I could imagine a birthday party would be fun here. The park isn't too large, it's a nice size for small kids. The bathrooms aren't great, there's dark park like ones or porto potties, so neither are great options. Will definitely be back. read more

This place has been a childhood staple since the 40's, and it appears like it could use lots of help, so if anyone knows how to do fundraising and PR... The park needs a refurb in a big way. The train that goes around the park needs a new battery because the one that powers the train now has to be plugged in to charge after once around. It doesn't have the oomph enough to even make it twice around the park without being charged. The concession building burned down a few years ago so now they have a food trailer. It would be nice if they could have a building again. Currently, they have Por-A-Let potties inside the park and it would be a good thing if they could have actual working, plumbed bathrooms inside the park. The rides are old and some of them have to be evenly filled with riders so it's all balanced or the rides creak and don't run properly. Some rides barely work. On a recent visit, the airplane ride wouldn't go up and down, only around & around and the dragon roller coaster, the star of the show, wasn't working at all. The buggies break down and sometimes workers have to push them back to the boarding area. I miss what this park used to be. Maybe it's always been a broken down mess & I just didn't notice until recently. I don't remember it being this bad when I brought my kids here, but now I'm bringing the grands & it's just getting really run down. This place is a scam. It's $25 for kids and $18 for adults (to watch your kids). If you can't ride or don't want to ride any of their attractions, it doesn't matter. $86 for a family of four is absolute robbery when there isn't enough attractions to justify this absurd cost. The "amusement park" now has a no food or drinks policy. The only thing you can bring is an empty water bottle. They must really be struggling to force people to buy their mediocre food. I was fat shamed today for the first time in my life! A person has to weigh no more than 175 lbs to ride the carousel because apparently, if you're 176.4, you're a FATTY! Funderland broke my boys heart. Got measured at the gate and he was 37 in. tall. Went to get on rides and he measured 34 in. talk and wasn't allowed on most of them. I got my money back and left because I didn't pay $43 to ride teacups and carousels all day, but my kid was absolutely distraught over the dragon. We took my daughter for the first time to attend a birthday. We were pleasantly surprised how cool this little amusement park for small kids is. My daughter is 3 and she got to ride 8/10 rides there. Her favorite was the train that takes you around the park. There is also a food cart, face painter, and shop inside. This is a nice place to take your toddlers/small kids to. This was a terrible experience for my daughter's 3rd birthday. We got there today at 11. Half of the rides were closed. My daughter wasn't able to get on get on half of the rides, which is understandable for safety reasons but would've loved to be informed if the height requirements before booking the party. Also it seemed the the requirements changed depending on who was operating the rides. We went to use our vouchers for the from the party package. One was for a snow cone and the other was for cotton candy. For the snow cone voucher we had to settle for a different flavor than my daughter wanted as the one she wanted was out. For the cotton candy voucher we're initially told there was no more except when we showed the voucher then some cotton candy was able to be made. All in all some things were more of an inconvenience but for a $400 party I expected to have a better experience overall. The only upside is that my daughter was not old enough to realize just how many things were going wrong. read more

Signs advertised a 10% discount for season pass holders at the food stand, and when I told the staff I was a season pass holder she ignored me. I repeated again I was a season pass holder, and if she could apply the discount, she didn't respond to me. She then told me my total, and I asked her again if I received the 10% off since I am a season pass holder? She finally told me their system is old and outdated and doesn't allow them to provide any discounts. I would only be able to get discounts if or when their system is ever updated. Overall, Funderland is a cute destination for families with young children, offering a memorable day of amusement and play. I would recommend just bringing your own snacks and beverages. read more

Super cute place with such great potential, used to be one of my favorite places as a child, but to be honest with as much as they're charging for entrance fee ($61 2 adults, 1 child) and majority of their rides are either broken, breaking or still closed and taped off (the BEST Flying dragon roller coaster ever ). Place is real old and outdated. Crazy Tea cups feel like they're going to roll off with every turn. And the little small part that's not even on their park maps is a death trap. My extended family had a great time with our kids here! The kids' ages are 2, 3, and 6. Each child had a lot of fun! I would say the ideal age for this park is 2-7 years old. Kids older than 7: there are still several rides for them as well. The rides are unlimited once you pay the entry fee. The lines for the rides are short, if there's even a line at all. I liked that this amusement park is small, and the rides are mostly ride-able by most little kids. There was one ride that can't have anyone over 42" tall but most of the others were open to little and big kids alike. A couple of rides you have to be 42" or tal Food situation: bring snacks and drinks!!! They have a food stand with a small selection of savory and sweet items you can buy- such as corn dogs, hot dogs, nuggets, fries, funnel cake, cotton candy, snow cones. Apple Pay accepted. Bathroom situation: There are port a potties inside, by the food stand. I didn't use them but there are also real toilets in a small building just outside (to the side) of the entrance -- there is no soap in there, so you can walk back into Funderland to wash your hands bc the hand washing stations by the port a potties have soap. read more

This place is small, old and clean. They have food such as; corn dog, chicken nuggets, nachos and hotdogs, and drinks. The wrist band is good for all day unlimited rides. We had a blast and can't wait to come back. My kids went on rides multiple times without having to wait at all sometimes. They were sad when we left. Funderland has an octopus ride that is only for kids smaller than 42inches (interesting). They a have roller coaster perfect for small children. The operators at each ride are super nice, friendly and chill. They make sure all kids are following safety rules and they are watching the children at all times. Super cute! We took a 3 year old and 4 year old, and it was perfect for them. Parking was easy; we lucked out and got a street spot right out front. No charge. There several rides and we easily occupied 3 hours. Lines were pretty short and they never had to wait more than 2 cycles. They particularly loved the dragon roller coaster and the teacups. Employees did a fine job but they ranged from enthusiastic to extremely bored. Didn't really bother me. Minus 1 star for limited food options and no water. I came here for a kid's birthday party along with my kids. This is the first time I've been here and I never knew that a place like this ever existed. My kids had a blast with their friends and we stayed for a couple of hours. That all being said, here is what happened on this particular day while we were there. The Dragon coster ride broke down. (our kids rode it a few time prior to that happening). They couldn't fix the issue and blocked the ride. The train ride that goes around the park broke down and everyone had to be let out. They couldn't fix the issue and stopped the ride. The ride where you are suspended by swings and spin around a tree, they couldn't get that started. There were a lot of misses that day (weekend). The rides and the attractions at Funderland were fine . I'm complaining about the package , the birthday package deal. We arranged to have a birthday party at 1:00 (even we could be there at 12:45 to put up decorations)​ we arrived at the party area at 12:55 the janitors was just beginning to clean up so we had to wait until they finish blowing the leaves and sweeping around the tables . They did not wipe the tables . So it is now about 1:15 and no pizza , no drink , no party people coming to greet us or anything we just sitting there . Then one of our parents arrived with the cupcakes which were allowed and she also had gift bags for each child which, she promised not to give to the children until they were ready to walk out of the area the park . So now it's 1:30 still no pizza still no drinks so in the party treat bags were juice boxes , and we allowed the kids ​ to drink their juice because they were thirsty and the juice boxes for the party have not arrived. Then the nice janitor her name is Delores, came with the juice boxes . We asked about the pizza and she said oh they said it's not going to come until after 2:00, so I allowed the kids to get the potato chips out of their gift bags because they were hungry and thirsty . A mother bought three Waters mind you, they cost $4 a bottle , and we got some cups and we was able to split up some of the waters for those that was really thirsty . The janitors even bought us more juice boxes because the children are so thirsty . Finally after 2:00 the pizza arrived. The party people claim that they arranged with me for the pizza to come late and that's not true, we would not have had the children sitting there waiting an hour and a half for the pizza , they had been there since 11:30 and we're thirsty and hungry . I was so disappointed I really should get my money back or at least half of it because of the lateness and the miserable treatment that we got . read more

We were there last weekend/June 2025. This time it was 1 adult and 2 kids=$68; two adults with one child next to us paid $105. The roller coaster was broken. The airplanes did not "fly" /go up and down. One employee was allocated per two rides so not all rides were accessible. The train ride provided views of stashed junk. The prices are high. Over the weekend my boyfriend decided to purchase tickets to surprise my daughter since she had never been. Once we got their she was over thrilled with joy, she wanted to ride every ride at least a couple times, her favorites were the Wild Stagecoach and Oscar the Fisher since she could ride solo! I enjoyed watching as my daughter and boyfriend spun around in the Crazy Cups, similar to the Alice in Wonderland one in Disney Land if you've ridden before and riding the classic Carousel I've enjoyed since a kid! I would recommend paying a visit while in Land Park, since 1946 this amusement park has been the must stop spot for parents with little ones, noted riding along our legs hurt squeezing into the seats, but it was worth it seeing the joy she had on her face as it lit up after each ride! They even gave out special tickets so each child visiting could take home their own little pumpkin from their pumpkin patch, how sweet is that?! Happy Fall 2020! read more

Since when did Funderland get so expensive?! They have this new policy where it doesn't matter if you're riding on the rides on or, you have to pay to enter as well! $22 for kids, $17 for adults. Came here with my little family 2 weekends ago, the rides are old & kept breaking down - especially the carrousel. There was only like 6 rides we could get on & that was being operated. My 5 year old loved it, husband & I, not so much. But I guess if you have no plans & you want to take your child out, this is a good spot. I just don't like the fact you have to pay to enter instead of just purchasing it for those who want to get on the ride. read more
