Such a totally cute place and great for kiddos 2-10! There was a recent mandate banning all outside food and drinks including water bottles. That was huge shocker but they have water at the concession stand and fountains around the park. The rides were pretty good and seemed maintained. I love that they have food sweet and savory. I only wish the fries were made to order because they are pre-cooked and sit in a warmer with the churros....which I did have along with the nachos. Good but nothing spectacular and what I'd expect from carnival type food. I did see someone order funnel cake and I must try the next time I'm there!

My daughter and I went here for a birthday party. We had not been here before so it was nice to go somewhere new. Plus it was a beautiful day to enjoy some fun outside. When we walked up there was no line which was nice and you could see some fun happening behind the gates. At the front there was a handmade sign that said no outside food and in smaller print no water bottles. The employees at the front greeted us for checkin and the next thing they said to me was no outside food and no water bottles. I understand that they want to sell the carnival food they serve which is fine however I don't understand the no water bottle policy. My child brings her reusable water bottle everywhere with her and with the amount of water she drinks I would still have to buy water to refill it. Inside the park it was clean and there were 8 rides running and one (the roller coaster) was out of commission. Out of the 8 available my two and a half year old could ride 5 of them which was great. The lines weren't too long and each attendant was pleasant at the entrance of the rides. There are a few little pay to play interactions in the middle of the park and my daughter loved the fact she could get her face painted. The party area was nicely shaded and off to the side away from the busy park goers. It looked like they have 4-5 party areas (I couldn't tell if the 4th one was multiple areas or if it's one big space) For being a kiddy party area it was very clean and well maintained. I cannot comment on the food they sell because we were still full from the pizza that was ordered with the party package. Everything looked good and the pizza wasn't bad. One of the other parents got a soda and it was huge for a large. One other thing to note is the restrooms are outside the main gates unless you want to use a porta potty. To my surprise they were very clean. Overall this is a great place for littles to go on rides and hang with friends. I give it four stars because of the no water bottle policy on a handwritten sign.

Such a fun place! Rides are more geared towards elementary kids and younger. We went on a weekday and there was barely any lines. The only time there was a line was to just wait for the next loading. Funderland is in Land Park which means there's a lot of trees and a lot of shade. We went when it was 96 degrees and it wasn't that hot since there was a lot of shade. The kids went on every ride except Squirrelly whirl and flying dragon since they needed an adult to go with them. The teacups were closed. Oscar the fisher had a MAXIMUM height restriction of 42 in so we couldn't go on that one. Their favorite was the Wild Stagecoach (the kids loved going backwards!) and the Red Baron planes. We were there for 3 hours and they went on 13 rides. They went on each ride 2-3 times. Different rides have different age and height restrictions so look on the website in advance and plan accordingly. The best height to go with kids that are more independent would be over 42" since they'll be able to go alone. Most rides will require 42" and under to have an an adult to go with them.

We drove to Sacramento on a whim and wanted to do something with the kids, we've done the zoo and fairytale land in the past but my kids begged to do Funderland. My kids are older, 12 & 7, so I had somewhat low expectations thinking they would be too big for the park, but man did they have fun. We literally opened and closed the place. It's kind of a smaller sized park and I loved that they got to run all over the place, back and forth between rides! And seriously, shout out to all the amazing workers, specifically the gentleman who took the time to know my daughter's name and say hi to her or rizz her up some whenever he'd see her. It was very cool. Ella says hi!

We came here for a birthday party and my kids had so much fun. $17pp for unlimited fun. This place isn't big which is kind of nice. For a Sunday, it wasn't super busy so we hardly had to wait in any lines. My youngest, 5, was tall enough for all the rides and my oldest, 7, was too tall for 1 ride. Adults were able to go on some of the rides. I rode the roller coaster, the tea cup, the swing, the carousel, and the train. My kids didn't want to leave. We stayed long after the birthday party was over.

My kids absolutely love Funderland. It is a great outdoor amusement park where they are able to socially play. They love riding on the train, the buggies, the airplane, and the carousel. There is a new addition of an obstacle course with a big slide that they enjoy. Sadly, the park is closed until February.

I was surprised they didn't have more in between roller coasters, ones that weren't just for 7 year olds or the ultimate thrill seekers. What We Loved Immersive Play: The range of play structures is incredible. Our kids were obsessed with the recreations of famous children's books--walking through Mr. McGregor's Farm felt like stepping right into a storybook. Animals & Nature: Beyond the slides and climbing, the petting zoo and the peaceful Japanese pond (Urashima Taro) provided a great change of pace for the kids. Interactive Learning: The children's theatre is a gem. They have dedicated storytime and puppet shows that kept the toddlers completely engaged. Why It's a Must-Visit What makes this place even more amazing is that it's a non-profit. Knowing that your $10 admission (an absolute steal for the quality of the park!) goes back into maintaining such a creative space for the community makes the experience even better. The overall size limited the trip and we worked through it faster than anticipated. It was quite busy but the overall vibe was fun. The second visit was way more enjoyable and we decided to visit due to the addition of a reptile exhibit that included hands on experiences with snakes, lizards, and more! The exhibit was not as packed when we arrived this time, so my kids got to play in the water room much longer and then do the Dino coloring for a bit before they setup the show. Parking is limited but plenty of availability when we went late afternoon. Parking immediately across the street is cheaper, just pay the attendant at the actual site first. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Ambiance of Dinos Alive is cloudy with smog machines, dark, mysterious, and immersed you into "dino zone." Plenty of large dinos for families to enjoy (and touch - wasn't sure if this was allowed but we did it anyways as I'm sure the creators intended it for young kids). Take it slow, don't rush. Done with your tour? Backtrack back to the beginning and do it all over again! First round you're typically taking pictures. So make the second round a fun experience for yourself and absorb everything the Dinos Alive staff put together. Afterwards, there's a fun station for coloring dinos and scanning them to show up walking on a projector! Pretty darn cool, if I says so myself. Fun little eggs to take photos in. Excavation zone to dust off dinosaur bones. Couple rides for young kids with a small and big dino to take some videos. Small shop to purchase stuff if your wallet feels generous. The entire experience, with backtracking and seeing the dinos twice while taking our sweet time and messing with the kids, took a little over 1 hour. If you rush through, it'll take a measly 10 minutes (so don't do that). Highly recommended if you have children who are into dinosaurs! An experience you might forget, but definitely an experience the kids will remember!

The host would use a siren when it was time to move to the next room and to guide us over.  I'm thoroughly impressed with the way Wacky Tacky handles birthday parties. They clearly know what they're doing. The host took care of everything which took the stress away from me. She set up the room, put my favors and cupcakes out. She served pizza, cupcakes, and used gloves to serve! She even sanitized all the kids' hands before eating. I love how they take cleanliness and good hygiene very seriously. Plates, forks, napkins, cups, utensils, tablecloth, hand sanitizer, were all provided.  Food orders do have to be made in advance, but I was able to add juice boxes and soda while I was there. Pizza came delivered close to the time it was time to move into the party room and was kept in the heated bag, so the pizza was actually still hot when it was time to be served.  Wacky Tacky was highly recommended to me for birthday parties, and I can see why. I constantly had to track down staff to ask what was happening next and where we should be. When I arrived to set up, I was told I'd have 10-15 minutes to prepare the room. Instead, I had to repeatedly check in to see when it would be ready and was finally given just a few minutes to set everything up. During the party, the staff member assigned to our room showed no initiative or enthusiasm. He didn't communicate the schedule, didn't announce when food or activities were starting, and clearly had no idea who the birthday child was. He simply stood in the corner, quietly handing out pizza with no effort to coordinate or engage with the group. After pizza and cupcakes, we still had about 35 minutes left in our scheduled time. I was then told that too many guests had been allowed into Wacky Tacky, so the kids couldn't play afterward as promised. The children were disappointed and confused. I asked to speak with a manager, but no one ever came. I've since called multiple times to follow up, and not once has a manager called and spoken to me. Several of my guests mentioned they had attended other parties here before and had much better experiences, which only made this event more frustrating. Save your money and go elsewhere, Enchanted or literally any other venue would be a better choice. This was a disorganized, poorly managed experience, and we will not be returning

We've been to extravagant light shows, like Luminaria Lights at the Botanical Gardens in Southern Cali, so that was our comparison and we honestly weren't expecting much with Imaginarium. Really happy that we decided to give this a shot! It was held at the Cal Expo so parking is extremely generous. However, we went on a Thursday evening in early December to avoid the crowds and I, for one, absolutely appreciated not having any lines or difficulty going in and out of the parking lot. Hardly anyone was there on a Thursday evening on the first week of December but I can imagine it would've been annoyingly packed if we went during rush season closer to Christmas or weekends. Pretty hilarious how we initially thought the front entrance exhibits and cute little photoshoot setups were it, until we walked past some food vendors to be shocked and awed at the enormous amount of creative setups they had in the main staging area. There was even a little circus act for some entertainment! Enjoy your time with family, walk around to your leisure, and they even had lots of neat room setups to experience. The kids enjoyed the art exhibit the most where they could color in beautifully drawn artistry with chalk! Santa was available for photos towards the exit.m at no charge. Nice! Tipped him, of course, to care for his elves and reindeer. Biggest tip is to be aware of where the restrooms are in case any urgencies arise. We found them to be to the right of the main area once we passed the food vendors thanks to friendly staff and security personnel. Highly recommended for everyone around the Sacramento and Roseville area, near and far! Great for families, dates, solos, and friends. Security is tight since it's Cal Expo so it felt rather safe for our family. Lovely organized event and enjoyed a magical evening surrounded be a wonderment of lights and glamor!
