This is our third summer buying the bronze Fun Pass. We get really good coupons (free snacks and 50% off food) which is awesome. This location has been especially clean this summer. We know the workers now from how often we go and they are incredibly kind. Very friendly. I never see them on their phones which is a bonus- that's an issue at most other places we go. I always see at least one employee making rounds cleaning while we are there. We like the food for fun nights out and we always have extras. It's never over or under cooked and the trays are always clean. We've only ever seen one machine out of order in three years and they continue to get new and improved games. We love it here read more

Line just to get in took several minutes. Then, since it takes a tech genius to sign up for an account to get a gold membership. I gave up and just bought a number 5, so expensive, then the pizza wasn't cut all the way and we had to rip it apart, it is incredibly stupid to require an account to buy a gold membership read more

Ale the manager did an amazing service to my family she was super pleasant to meet and great smile and we all had a great time. All workers were doing something and actively helping other customers and keeping the store clean. I love this type of service we will definitely come back again. read more

Chuck E. Cheese - ale - Pizza Near Me - Crystal Lake, Illinois

Brought the grand girls here for a little fun. Ordered pizza and appetizer sampler. The counter staff was very helpful and polite. They have added some new rides and games as well as a bounce house. Food came was ready, pizza was sliced in small pieces, made it nice for the kids. Appetizers were surprisingly good. Korean chicken wings were tasty. Seasoned fries and cheesy bread was also great. It's not fine dining, but good. We purchase the games by the points, seemed like a better value when kids cans decide what they want to play. If they don't use all the points they stay on the card for the next time. Win win. Can't really speak to the ambiance...... lots of noise from kids having fun. Seems appropriate. read more

Good enough for Kids playing. However I will not come back again. I hope they have more games. read more

Terrible. We took our 4-year niece and it was so lame, not like what you remember. Pizza, downhill. Tastes like Casey's General Store. I got yelled at once for not wearing my mask, only to order food, mind you the mandate was being lifted the next day. I talked to the same person multiple times and did not get a speaking to the other times. Most of the games and rides were broken. LAME! read more

Just came for my husbands 70th birthday. We had 5 grandkids and 6 adults and it was so fun. This Chuckee's is so clean and the staff is so friendly and helpful. We saw several employees cleaning up the whole time. And the pizza is so good but the cheesy bread is definitely delish. We tried boneless wings and our kids loved them. Overall it's totally worth it for all the ages. I still can't get over how clean it is compared to other Chuckee Cheeses. read more

Chuck E. Cheese in the time of Covid isn't great. But, honestly, I think there's a lot more to the quality cut than just Covid restrictions. We went to this CEC with my cousins, the youngest celebrating a birthday. Throughout the years, I've seen the pizzazz slowly disappear into what it is now and it's kind of sad! One animatronic character in the showroom is bad enough, but while we were there, no one had even bothered to turn up Chuckie's audio. He moved fine and looked like he was in decent shape, but you knew that the audio was coming from the TV when you were up close, which made it weird to hang out around the mascot. The games are basically just chance games. Ski Ball is the only worthwhile game there. Everything was very arcade-esc. I don't know if this is due to Covid or not, but the new system of game play uses a magic band or card with tickets being sent electronically to the card. Counting tickets or putting the coin into the machine was half the fun of going to CEC-- it was tactile and helped you know how good you were doing ticket-wise-- so this was a disappointment, as well. A few years ago, we went to CEC and the pizza was actually good. Just as good as a normal pizza place. However, this time around, the pizza wasn't very good, nor were the sides. Overall, this visit left a poor taste in my mouth. CEC has lost its magic. I hope one day, they find it again. read more

Extremely disappointed with this location, our first time here and Half of the machines don't work Our food takes forever and then they give us this joke of a meal Definitely not coming back to this location They lack in toddler friendly games and the ones that are here, are our of service Waste of time and money read more

Chuck E. Cheese - Chicken nuggets (child) - Pizza Near Me - Crystal Lake, Illinois

This is a location that, for me, fluctuates from 3 to 4 stars every other time I'm here. I'm calling it 4 stars, to give them the benefit of the doubt. But the service has been inconsistent over the dozens of times we've been here so call it rounding up from 3.5. In the past, we've celebrated my son's birthday here and it was excellent. The party hosts really took care of everything from the food, to the cake and even preparing the birthday celebrants for Chuck to come out and sing with them. We found the attention to be very accommodating, and we were able to spend more time with our guests. On occasion, the service has been poor, with some employees struggling to maintain some semblance of interest or energy. This last time we were here to celebrate the end of the school year. For sure this time, the management was overly accommodating and helpful. We took advantage of the afternoon buffet, and they provided us with gluten-free pizzas, though not a standard. We were even offered more mid-meal! That's what I call service! The games and entertainment were still appropriate for my 6, and 2 year old, so we were able to get an hour and a half of solid engagement. The standard thin crust pizzas are excellent (crunchy with a tart sauce and loads of cheese), a guilty pleasure of mine. The gluten-free option is also pretty good, but it definitely lacks the crispness of traditional crust. We'll continue to come back, but only when the kids ask. :) read more

The other day I went to Chuck E. cheese with my niece for her birthday. While there Deklan was AMAZING. We were having trouble receiving points on her card and Deklan helped us fix the problem so she could still pick out her prizes. While helping us Deklan was friendly and helped make her birthday special. read more

Needed to keep the kids busy and work off pal that energy they have. Chuck e cheese is def one of the place we take my niece and nephew. We ordered cheese pizza, veggie and cheese w olives. It jas been a while since I've been there since my daughter is now going to be 22. It hasn't changed much. Pizza is just ok. Salad bar wasn't all that fresh. We also ordered the sampler. The garlic cheese bread is good. The Bbq boneless chicken is just ok but I wouldn't order it again. However, the activities and games kept them really busy. The prices for the tickets compiled towards the end I think is a rip-off but the kids seem to enjoy it. The person portraying as Chuck E Cheese needs to be a not more enthusiastic and motivate the kids the dance more. Don't get me wrong my niece and nephew def enjoyed them. Overall, I'd def bring them back but will not eat unless I really have to. read more

Staff was very inappropriate when handling a question about a long delay on food. Lied and acted like privileged snobs.

Went on a Friday with my nephew. He had a great time, we got there right as they opened and there weren't very many other people there. No wait for any of the games, and a good amount of choices for all levels of play. He said he'd like to go again. read more

Chuck E. Cheese - a pepperoni pizza in a box - Pizza Near Me - Crystal Lake, Illinois

We are regulars that go at least 2-3 per month. We have become to know certain people by name now! They are hard working, attentive and kind to my children. They are always cleaning up after a family leaves and are trying their best to keep the place clean and safe. Mikey has been awesome with our family each time that we go. The pizza is also delicious, along with the salad bar. read more

Just had our son's birthday party here. The staff was very friendly and we didn't have to lift a finger. I brought cookies for the kids and they did everything. We got them the unlimited 2 hour play and the kids had a blast. read more

2 stars because machines are all working but wow if I could rate staff separately it would be a zero! There's like 20 kids working but none are helping customers. Some on their phones the rest don't care to make eye contact when you've been waiting forever. When you need to pay something or exchange points, you are seriously bothering them to the point of eye rolls and sighs TO DO THEIR JOB. how sad, I was taught to say please and thank you for everything and now even if you ask them with a please they roll their eyes. Management needs to get their staff in check. read more

I had my party for my daughter last weekend my sister lost a ring there and we called right away and spoke to Christian and asked if it was turned in and went there today and it's magically disappeared he denied ever speaking to us or that it was ever turned in. They called me 3 times during the week to get my order I gave it and still took a while for the pizza to come out. The lady on the phone told me we get 4 drinks for every X-Large pizza well that changed when we got there of course I like the Batavia location better. All they cared was money money and not your experience. When I was going over the bill to make sure I wasn't overcharged the manager said I could take the payment yeah I know! I will not come back here again. Also encouraged to give cash tip yeah right who does that I will be contacting corporate as well read more

Very bad experience last Saturday May 27,2017 I took my daughters to have some fun , we played, had fun but my younger daughter was hungry so I order the smallest pizza for her since me n my older daughter have eat already, it took 30 minutes to get my daughters pizza, is that normal? Is a tiny pizza $7 for it , I start asking staff about my pizza and they were ignoring me just saying let me go look, it finally arrived , and I ask the guy ,does it take 30 minutes for pizza? His response was ,well we had 30 pizzas ahead of this one , for a birthday party , it was 1 p.m it wasn't even busy and they did not have 30 pizzas, am not coming back to this location. Awful customer service! read more

First time here and the best experience with the staffs. I am impressed how great customer service and well manner the staff are and especially thank you to daisy whom went far and beyond for get me my salad when they're cleaned up and put away. She went and got what I wanted and need. I am very thankful and glad I came to this spot. Don't know how why other gave them such bad reviews. Definitely recommend to bring your children here. read more

Would give it zero stars if I could. The machine would only accept 2 bills out of 10, then it took 15 minutes to get our money back, then another 15 minutes for a manager to come to the front to return us for a card that we got using a debt card. Extremely slow terrible service. read more

Great place fun for kids however I don't like that they didn't have the animatronics anymore

So these places are no parents favorite, no doubt about it. But honestly, they were so wonderful there today with my two kiddos *one and three* that I can't resist giving them a major shout out for their efforts. I can't say I've been to many of these in my adult life, long ago maybe when I was a kid, but honestly, it was clean the staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly and my two little ones smiled the whole time. That's the point right? Lastly, when my son went to cash out his ticket value and the "gift" counter he wanted something much higher in value than he was eligible for - without making him feel badly the attendant did a great job of enthusiastically showing him the items that he COULD get. Turning a potentially negative experience into something that was fun and engaging. I'm thankful for that! read more

Many memories here #ShaneDawsonconspiricytherios 15/10 recommend Chuck E. Cheese is for everyone not just little kids Chuck E. Cheese is like 5 nights at freddys just this decade and the animatronics are pretty friendly in the day time the night tho they might bite. read more

today me and my friends decided we should go to and play some games after school before it got really busy. we had been looking forward to this all week, after a long day at school we get there and the second we walked in we were asked if we were 18, (one of us is just shy of 18) and we were told that we would have to leave and we would not be able to come back until we have an adult present, hearing this we had walked out very upset it's hypocritical to have workers that are under 18(these workers are our age)but not allow customers that are under 18. whats the point of having an adult present when one of the party is about 18 and what's a parent gonna do with kids that are old enough to drive themselves there? the parent would sit when they have better things to do. I understand having an adult when you have younger children that would require supervision but for us it's just much harder as we can do some things on our own. read more

Clean although on a microscopic level it would be disturbing as one might expect being a child's play kingdom. Pizza was good, bathrooms were clean, and prices were fair in my personal opinion. This was my first time back to Chuck E Cheese since I was a child and I found myself having a great time with my daughter as this was her first time experiencing such a place. Great place to let the a child run around in foul weather as we often experience in the North. Coupons easily located at corporate website and can be redeemed via smart phone. read more

What a cesspool. Half the games are arcade versions of cellphone app games I.e. Fruit Ninja, Crossy Road etc. A quarter of them are either out of order or have run out of tickets. The staff looks so miserable and act like they have anything better to do. Anytime I asked for anything it was an inconvenience on the staff. If I owned the place I'd send in secret shoppers to see just how horrible the staff is. I know they're all kids but come on. Never saw one smile from anyone other than the kids there. The guy in the mouse outfit maybe comes out for 5 minutes, throws 20 tickets on the ground and leaves. No chance for pictures if you missed him going to the bathroom. Between the machines not working and the staff looking like they want to kill themselves, I will not be back. I know it's a kids but place but to say it was dirty is an understatement. I grabbed a red pepper shaker and half of it was blocked from dried pizza sauce and cheese. Like someone just decided to smash it into their sub par pizza. This place is a joke. read more

Super angry! For the last two years so this would be the third year we have taken our kids to this place at around 6pm to celebrate New Year's Eve early. We promised the kids all day long we were going as we have always done and this year for no reason they changed their business hours. The kids were crying and we invited their cousins to come it was a total mess! The manager offered the kids cotton candy and nothing else. Sorry kids guess today isn't your day! Totally pissed! read more

The kids had fun, but we found there were only a few of the games that really interested them. The majority of the game are for tokens and the tokens buy you nothing but crap. Scheduled a party and went into the store to pay a deposit. 2 weeks later on the day of the party I called to confirm details and they had no party!! I had guests coming so we were stuck! So embarrassing!! We purchased drinks, pizza and a cake on the day of the party and they forgot the cake! We finally got the cake and it was frozen. I still have not got my $50 deposit returned. My child was disappointed. We have his party at Chuck E Cheese every year, but we are going to rethink this... I'd really like my deposit money back!... heck you think they would have done something to make it up to the sad 4 year old.... such a shame! PS the automated service when you call is HORRIBLE l!!! read more

So I went to Chuck E. Cheese to attend my niece's birthday party and was very excited to spend some quality time with her, but then I enter the gaming area and half the games we tapped our little cards that contained our time were either out of tickets or needed to be repaired. However, when I entered the room with the mechanical Chuck, I got to meet my niece's party assistant/ host Christian. And he was amazing. Every time he walked up to my sister (my niece's mom), he always had on a smile on his face, and was always on top of everything. He had such a gentle voice whenever he talked and made it very clear to us when he explained the schedule for the party. Always checked on us every ten minutes to see how we were doing. And for the little show for the birthdays, he gave a 10 out of 10 performance dancing with my son, nieces and nephews. I think my gumdrop had a little crush on him as well. The manager Isabella was also very nice when she approached us. Overall 3 star because of the lack of game help but great customer service. read more

It's OK... I mean I have been taking my 6 year old son here few times a year for the past few years. As I do visit other locations in other states as well with my boy. But it's good for kids under the age of 12. I feel like more then half of the games are lame as hell but some of the kids tend to like it. My boy likes playing that batman video game and few others. My request to Chuck E Cheese Corporate Management would be try and change out your games at least every 4 to 6 months. I hate seeing the same stuff year after year. Also the Pizza tastes like crap I know it's frozen but try put some effort in a better food selection in the quality of the Pizza's. Also a note for the customers watch out when using the kiosk machine using a credit card getting tokens. I always get shorted on tokens either they do it on purpose or there really is a problem with the kiosk machine. read more

I have been to this location several times, I've never had a bad experience but after what I saw today, I will not be back. When we arrived today, we were alerted that a "big manager" was in the building today by one of the staff and they(the staff) were trying their best to do a good job. We enjoyed our time there and as we were getting ready to leave, I noticed a young girl that worked there getting yelled at in a booth by a gentleman that appeared to be the feared "big manager," in complete public view. He was showing her his phone telling her that he would be sharing pictures of what he saw today to everyone. I was standing a good distance away and could hear everything he was saying to her. None of it was appropriate,it was very degrading, and I am sure publicly humiliating to her. There were several families sitting around him, and another mom stood up and actually said something to him trying to get him to stop. I can't imagine what he found by the way he was treating her. Anyways, if this is the way they treat their employees I have no interest in being a part of it. No one deserves that, and if she deserved to be let go, give her a little human dignity and do it in private. read more
