Hidden in the…read morePavilion Community Center is an indoor play space, and even more wonderfully is a beautiful carousel. My daughter LOVES them so I surprised her with a visit here. She enjoyed playing at the indoor playground and I really appreciated that in addition to the large climbing and play maze they had a couple of small play structures for the littler kids. My own kid was just the right size that she could play pretty safely on both. The carousel was, of course, the piece de resistance. It is really beautiful. There are about a dozen and a half horses (zebra included) and a swan chariot for when you want to sit (and, since we did over a dozen rides, I did need to sit since I was so dizzy!). My only complaint is that there are no restraints on the horses. The other carousels we've been on have some sort of strap to wrap around, but not here. The carousel doesn't move at lightening speed of course but some added safety measure besides just me holding her on the horse would put me at ease. The place is available for rent, which is cool. For individual, single-day entry, it's only $6 which is one of the best bargains in the suburbs tbh. That's for unlimited rides. The worst part is the hours! They're only open Monday through Friday from 10-2, so that really limits the times we'll be able to visit unless I use PTO to come by. I've heard that they're doing some renovations or something though so who knows, perhaps it'll grow in popularity and they'll increase their hours.

There's a carousel (like a legit, big one with hand-painted horses) and a circus-themed play area with tunnels, slides, and all kinds of things for kids to climb around on. We had about 15-20 kids there, from toddlers up to around 8, and it was perfect, everyone had something to do the whole time. The carousel was probably the highlight. The bigger kids loved it, and even the little ones could ride with a parent, which was really nice. Also have to shout out the staff, they were super helpful with setup and cleanup, which made everything way easier. The space itself is really practical too, lots of tables, outlets (we plugged in a slow cooker for hot dogs), and you can bring your own food. We kept it simple with hot dogs and pasta salad and it worked out great. Overall just a really fun, easy place to host a party. Definitely recommend for kids 8 and under!

That said, we went on a Monday during Spring Break, and there were literally hundreds of people there. Staff mentioned it actually gets even busier on weekends, which is hard to imagine. I don't have an issue with it being busy, that's expected for a place like this, but the size and layout make it really difficult from a safety standpoint. Because it's so massive and not designed for adults to crawl through tunnels or go down tight, enclosed slides, it's nearly impossible to keep eyes on your child at all times. That part felt really unsettling. It quickly turns into pure chaos, fun for kids, but stressful for parents trying to keep track. I really wish they had some sort of safety system in place, like matching wristbands or a check in and check out process to ensure children leave with the correct adult. Even places like Chuck E. Cheese have basic precautions to prevent situations like a child leaving with the wrong person. I hate to sound overly cautious, but the reality is the world is not perfect, and when you have that many people in one space, safety measures matter. With the annual pass, you get to hang out as long as you want. I saw a mom working at the dining area while her kids ran around. Our 5yo is super happy here and she will be for many more years. The food is a little pricey as well, but it's decent quality. We got the daddy basket and it came with our choice of simply lemonade drinks. I'm also surprised that there are affordable souvenirs here with figures as low as $1.99 and mid-sized stuffies for $6.99. It's a safe environment with lots of space so you don't feel crowded. Also, plenty of places to sit and watch you kids as they explore. Bottom Line: Highly recommended for locals, slightly expensive for tourists. Worth it for fans of Peppa Pig.

My older son was very excited when he saw some clips about this place and we decided to pay a visit. We came on a Saturday. There were many kids, with a wide range of ages, on the giant jungle gym, the large bullpen with an interactive screen, and the young toddler area. Check-in involved with waiver-signing and socks purchasing for first timers. I believe a pair of socks cost $3.50 and each child's admission was $18.50 (as of 02/14/26). There yellow-bee socks seemed to have a good grip on the bottom, but we will see how they would hold up after a few washes. My kids were a little hesitant to get on the big boss jungle gym first, so they started playing at the toddler area to condition themselves. Eventually they released their inhibition and were climbing all levels numerous times. My 2.5 year-old, small-statured younger son went on the suspended bridge repeatedly until he overcame his fear, so it was impressive to see his progress when facing challenges. For parental supervision, for the most part, parents would be able to watch their kids while sitting down at the perimeters. I spent majority of time chasing my two boys while slightly bend down at the jungle gym the entire time. Adults were able to get on them and they seemed sturdy, yet for tall individuals there would be no way to stand straight inside this if you were to constantly go after the kid(s). Everyone in my family enjoyed "Kids Play Hive," but one star was deducted because the lack of boundaries on protecting the little ones who also wanted the opportunities to play. There was a group of older boys and everyone was very energetic and running fast throughout the venue. When they got to the young toddler zone, they took up space reserved for the little crawlers and walkers. While it didn't significantly impact my experience, but that would be something for the management to think about for crowd-control purposes. There was also a birthday celebration going on and the invited guests got to use the party room. Overall, "Kids Play Hive," in my opinion, is a well-designed indoor playground with convenient parking. We don't live awfully far away and will definitely come back in the future. The snacks and beverages they sell also are priced reasonably. Guests are allowed bring their food and there is a designated dining area.

I was surprised at how good the pizza is. I liked how the game cards come on reloadable cards that come on an elastic wrist band. Chuck E. Cheese himself was out quite a bit even for those of us who were not with a birthday party. I liked the location size; not too big and you could basically see your child. I felt like the location was very safe. Overall, I was more impressed than I expected to be. I would take my son back again.

Given a dedicated host who was extremely friendly and engaging with the kids. The place was really clean. For a Sunday afternoon, not overly crowded. A different place from what I remember as a kid. The pizza was decent. 5-6 year old kids seemed to like the games. Lots of ticket winner type games. Not many arcade games. Our son got to do a ticket grab air blower thing. He ended up getting like 4-5k tickets in all. Enough to get a couple decent prizes. On top of that, several visits from the mouse. We ended up paying like $300 something for 14 kids. I feel for this age group, you can't go wrong doing a birthday party here.
