Went in for drinks on a Sunday and just relax before the work week and engage in some friendly conversations with some other patrons and the wonderful staff. The staff is their secret sauce - such great people! Decided to eat something light and tried a new menu item - Feta Pita Salad. Very filling, flavorful and satisfying. I will have this again. It has a vinaigrette dressing so a little sour, but very fitting and flavorful. Feta and pita wedges, instead of crumbled feta. I liked it, just some may not do keep in mind. See picture. I never even knew this was a possibility but stumbled upon it, thanks to the power of Google, when I was looking for a venue that would accommodate 50-ish people for my son's baptism reception lunch. This place definitely won't break the bank by any stretch of the imagination. The only downside is that it's not much to look at. The hall is nice and airy, 2 walls of windows let ample light stream in, and a wall of floor to ceiling mirrors reflect the light. The floors are wood, and the walls are cream, which provide a nice neutral palette for decorating without worrying about clashing. There's a tiny little kitchen in the back corner, complete with microwave and a full-sized refrigerator. Obviously they don't cater or anything, which is both a plus and a minus. They don't even have a coffee maker on hand, so be prepared to bring your own. What they do supply, or at least claim to, are 6-8 tables and 40-50 chairs. What we found when we arrived were 3 tables and about 20 chairs. We never did locate the rest of the tables and chairs, but we made due with what we had. This place isn't fancy by any stretch of the imagination, but if you're looking for a nice facility to hold a lunch or a get-together that isn't in your home, Algonquin's Historic Village Hall is a great option. We will definitely keep this place in mind for our next party.

They were hand and hand with us every step of the way, were so helpful they solved problems or set things up before I even knew they were doing it, gave us the space to make our even completely our own, the building is STUNNING and functional with a great history (as someone who is from the area), and it really is true that Rob and Tone created the perfect venue by alleviating every issue and nuance that they have experience go wrong at weddings they have attended. My wedding is only what it was because of them, and I will be forever grateful for that.
