We stopped in for a drink after Topgolf and I have to say the service was excellent--very attentive and welcoming throughout our visit. The drinks, however, were a bit underwhelming compared to other locations I've visited. Not bad, but not quite on the same level as I've experienced elsewhere. I do really like the layout of the space--having two floors with one large bar and a smaller, more low-key bar area is a great concept. It gives you the option to choose between a lively atmosphere or something a bit more relaxed depending on the vibe you're looking for. read more

Came here for a work event on a Wednesday evening. We had the entire upstairs area reserved for our group, and there was ample seating and a bar area for drinks. The dragonfruit margarita (pink rita) was sweet and packed a bit of a punch. Lots of games and there was a giant human claw game that looked really fun. You hang from a harness and try to grab as many giant blow-up toys as possible. A couple of the managers played it and my manager won a blow up toy. Great service and friendly staff. I was here twice in one week--once for their family friendly New Year's Eve party and once for their half price Sunday. The New Year's Eve party was of great value to me--less than $30 and it included 300 chips on a card (even though the piece of paper enclosed in the envelope said 100), unlimited play on the non-ticket games, and a family friendly buffet. The soft drink selection was great and even included Fanta, Dr. Pepper, and lemonade! The buffet (again, remember, family friendly!) had sliders, chicken nuggets, pizza, fries, fruit, donut holes, and churros. I had to ask someone for ketchup--I am not sure how they did not anticipate that question with all of the kids around, but the staff was friendly and efficient. I not-so-secretly was hoping they were going to serve these mini beef wellingtons I got to sample at their soft open, but again, I know they are making that time slot family friendly. The event was well decorated, they had party favors galore, and they even did a balloon drop! 10/10 would attend again. 1/2 price Sunday was also fun! I have never been to Dave & Buster's so long before that I actually experienced game fatigue. I had collected so many credits with coupons for the party of 4 that we actually still have 1K left--I suggested hitting up a different location to see if there are different games! My mom did the Human Crane for funsies--she picked up a ton of prizes, but as per the rules that are clearly listed, she was only allowed to keep one. She kept a giant branded donut float for my teenaged daughter to use at the pool. It didn't look big inside the Human Crane, but it took up most of the trunk and then the living room once it was inside the house. (It is now deflated and neatly rolled up until summer!) If there was an issue with a game, it was resolved quickly by alerting the staff. I had an error message on the Spiderman coin game, the football game was not registering my card, etc. No biggie, the staff came and fixed it and gave me the equivalent chips back. After being there for many hours in one week, I am not rushing to go back, but I look forward to seeing what other events they have to offer! read more

We went to Dave and Buster's Saturday, August 1st. We decided to sit down and get something to eat before we took our grandson around to the arcade. What struck us most was how kind and considerate our server was, Gordon. There is a dinner/arcade special that can get a little confusing if you don't go there regularly. Gordon was patient and explained everything to us suggesting the best option for us. He even suggested to take a photo of the gamecard in case it was misplaced during our time there. He made recommendations on the menu and checked back with us frequently. This happens almost no where these days and I wanted to take a moment to recognize Gordon for his great service! read more

Large space to accommodate large groups. Rob has been our sever a couple of times and he is always so attentive and humorous. Frequently checks in and makes sure we have everything we need. We come back at least once a year with a large group and it's always nice (server, food, spaces, accommodations). read more

This is quite the upgrade over the game works that used to be here. They have an upstairs and downstairs bar, Multiple screens, a full food court, and full arcade. We didn't have food this time because we were killing time before our next event. So it's great for walk-ins! read more

Dave & Buster's Schaumburg is finally opened and replaced the dark empty space that was Gameworks (RIP - so many memories there). I'm so glad that they placed a Dave & Buster's here to continue the arcade/restaraunt/bar feel in this building.I got nostalgia as soon as I walked through the doors, they've been locked since the pandemic began. The layout is 2 floors - there are bars on both floors, as well as games on both floors. The dining area is only downstairs. There's a bunch of games to choose from to play and everything is remodeled inside and looks so new and modern it looks great. The only downside is I was a bit disappointed that some games were not working (stealing credits) upon swiping my card, it didn't work, but maybe that will resolve as the building literally just opened Tuesday. I'd recommend a visit, it's a big building and is a great time. read more

Wow! Having practically grown up at the Game Works that used to be here, it is so nice to see what Dave and Busters has done to transform the space and give it new life. Obviously this location has only been open a week, so everything was as new, sparking, and clean as could be!!! Definitely a night and day difference from Gameworks which was showing such signs of age towards the end. Good food selection. Typical bar food is what you get here and there's ample seating and servers to help you. So many games both new and even few classics thrown in too!!! Video games and ticket games even pinball. We have been to other locations of Dave and Busters and have to say that this location has the best selection of games and the best layout. I really hope that they can keep this location as clean and nice as it is right now. If that's the case, we can definitely see ourselves coming back and enjoying time with our son here more!!!! read more

Congratulations to Dave & Buster's on opening a great place in Schaumburg for food and fun! There are games for all ages to enjoy. I'm looking forward to happy hour gatherings here, too. Finally checked out the newest DnB to the Chicagoland area. Overall, it was a nice vibe. Games were all working, there was ample parking and certainly felt secure. The two stories was a new aspect for me but in some ways it felt like less games than other locations. Certainly, a lot of driving games and ones you can do with or w/o a challenger. The prices were pretty mixed. The avg chips per game seemed about 4.5. The reward store had a decent selection though we opted to hold and wait until our next visit. The dining areas were super large. I only ordered drinks but the server was nice and informative. FYI Free refills on soda and teas. Would recommend a visit. I do plan to come back here again. However, because it is a longer drive than other locations, I would like to do when the mall is open. read more

We came to the Schaumburg Dave & Buster's to celebrate my stepson's 7th birthday, and it did not disappoint! From the food to the drinks and the service, everything was on point. We ordered the sample platter to kick things off--mini sliders, pretzel-wrapped hot dogs, and wings--classic crowd-pleasers. The garlic fries were addicting, but the barbacoa quesadilla totally stole the show. Packed with flavor and perfectly crisped, it was everyone's favorite. The kids had pepperoni pizza and mac & cheese, and both plates were devoured in minutes. The adults tried the new Spotlight Punch Flight--three vibrant flavors: green melon, orange citrus, and cherry lime. It was the bartender's first time making them, but you'd never know it. They came out perfect, refreshing, and fun to sip. Huge shoutout to Edwin at the bar for his awesome hospitality! Friendly, attentive, and super helpful--he really made our visit even better. I was sad when GameWorks closed down. But was happy to see that DnB took over. The parking lot is huge especially with a parking garage next to it. Although, on certain days and hour, it could be hard to find a spot since there is a lot to do on the Street of Woodfield. Inside, I see they did redesign the entire layout of the store. There are a lot of machines. However, it looks a lot smaller than when GameWorks was here. The restaurant and seating for eating/drinking is large. Service was ok. We got ignored for the most part. Food was okay for an arcade place. Drinks are reasonable priced. And I do like how they moved the stairs to the front now. Upstairs does have the same atmosphere with different games and another restaurant/eating area. But upstairs looks a lot smaller than before. Lots of different types of game to pick off. Prices per game is cheaper/reasonable than most places I have been to. Overall, it is a fun evening and I would probably be back. read more

I'll leave a better review next time after I try out some of the newer games. We went to Kurimu and decided to check out the newest D&B location. I love that they kept games on both floors like how GameWorks had it. Restrooms can also be found on both floors and they were clean. You can eat downstairs but they also have a bar upstairs. Plenty of seating in both areas. There's an elevator if you're handicapped/have a stroller or just plain lazy. Judging from the appearance itself, it looks way better than the Addison and Rosemont locations. I know people complain about the food, but to be honest you could just eat at Chipotle and walk over to play games. Schaumburg has a diverse amount of restaurants to choose from. I'll give 5 stars for now. read more

We left the restaurant after sitting at the table for an hour and never receiving our drinks. We never were able to order our food, and after trying to find our waiter for another 15 minutes, we decided to walk out. If it was a busy night, with full tables and not enough wait staff, I wouldn't be writing this review. My husband and I came here the other day because it's close to our house and we were so excited that it opened in the old Gameworks building. We had 6 different cards from past experiences from the Rosemont Dave & Buster's location, so we didn't spend any money on game cards or credits, which made our experience even better by default. The place was very nostalgic when we walked in since we hadn't been there in quite some time since Gameworks closed. The building was dark, yet lit up from all of the games, and everything was clean and new. We came on a weekend, so it was pretty busy the day we came, and it was crowded with kids running around and adults drinking at the bar. Just a tip, don't forget that this location has 2 floors of games and bars! Since this location is new, there are tons of games, and the ones we played all worked fine. I was super impressed with the Guitar Hero setup because there are large speakers and lights for the band experience. However, when you are playing, the game is BLARINGLY loud. Also, because the game is so old, when you play individually, there is an awful lag. It was a MUCH better gaming experience when playing multiplayer unless you end up playing on easy mode independently. They have all of the songs unlocked on the game, though, which is a plus because not all arcades have all songs unlocked. Other games we enjoyed here are also at other locations, such as the Pop the Lock, Connect 4 Hoops, Milk Jug Toss, and Down the Clown. These are just a few of the fun games they have, and to be honest, they had a lot more game options here than at the Rosemont location. We didn't eat anything here, so I cannot comment on how the food is, but we did go to the upstairs bar, and I ordered a pina colada. It was delicious. It had such amazing flavor, and it was pretty large for the price, which was good. The bartender we had was friendly and fun, too; he was joking around with us since I was wearing a University of Iowa sweatshirt. Overall, we had a great first experience at the newly opened Dave and Buster's location, and we are so glad that it is so conveniently located for us to frequent! read more

At the moment, I haven't really explore it, but ANY arcade is always for for me. Especially if they have a fun pinball machines. This place does. It's in the old Game Works building RIP. They have a good amount of Stern pinball games and a lot of ticket games, 2 floors worth. They should've changed up their business model to accomodate some sort of performance area as it seems too much area for arcades really, or something different on the top floor. read more

Ok..ok. GAMER GAMER GAMER... when going to an establishment like this you'd at the very least expect games,tenders and fries along with some type of a mixed drink. But hold up. Walked in knowing this is a new rebound DNB. GREETED right away. I went straight to the bar on an empty Tuesday night and was welcomed by the bartender with open arms. I wish I remembered his name because he made me feel so at home. Anyways.. we ordered drinks and appetizers. Ok..ok .. we ordered the chicken pot stickers.. and let me tell you.. by far the best potsticker I've ever had. Also, ordering, the fried pickles, which were lightly breaded and not overwhelmingly salty but the perfect amount of seasoning and spice. We ordered drinks from the bar which were made to our request with no downfalls. ...WE then payed games for a looooooooong bit and built an appetite. Ok, so we order a burger and manchego chicken.. not only was my burger cooked to perfection but and before I say this..... I hope it's consistent had at least 5 pieces of bacon on it. Remained juicy and delightful. Then, My machengo chicken was served juicy with a tenderness of green beans and potato's. Furthermore, keep this quality of service and food up and I'll be back regularly. Side note. PAC man on second floor did not work. Photo Booth did not work for complex settings only basic settings(backgrounds). Overall, this is a great establishment to visit. This new DB has 2 floors of fun. Both floors have a dining area, bar area & tons of different games. I have been here multiple times now and each time is fun with or without kids. Some of the game machines do malfunction, but there was always a friendly employee to come fix the issue. As for the food and service, that is a hit or miss. We have been taking advantage of the 50% and trying almost all the items on the menu. Food is ok, but a couple Of items have been under cooked or poor tasting and was replaced or taken off the bill with no issues. Out of all we have tried I recommend the smokehouse ribs, crisp & guac, barbacoa quesadilla & sriracha honey bone in wings. They have AYCE wings on Mondays & Thursdays but its only for plain & bbq flavored. Half off games all day Wednesday's. All employees that we have encountered have been very friendly and pleasant. read more

Our family wanted to be one of the first guests to visit the brand new Dave & Buster's in Schaumburg (Streets of Woodfield) and it didn't dissappoint! We were touched by the gracious hospitality. Every employee we met made us feel valued and had a welcoming spirit. We've been to other D&Bs in the area, but this dual story location is very classy and is packed with energy, great lighting and fun atmosphere. There's wonderful new VR games throughout. But you'll also find the classics too- definitely a game for every age. There are two full service bars with great looking drinks. My son loves to collect his tickets to redeem in the gift shop. And this one is full of desirable items for all ticket amounts. We had dinner in the lower restaurant. It was delicious with ample portion size and great taste. The Salmon was A+ Prices are very fair. There are tasty kid meals available as well. Upstairs you'll find pool and air hockey. There are even contemporary, bright meeting rooms where you could host a business event, seminar, or private party - like a rehearsal dinner. They do really nice banquets / buffets at D&B. I've been to Vegas several times in my life and this location has the feeling of a posh, classy casino! I think it is exciting to watch the way Dave & Buster's is elevating their brand with this new locale. I'd call it Dave & Buster's 2.0! read more

I'm never this person but please bring back the Addison location. My boyfriend waited forever to get 2 draft beers and was ignored. I went back myself and was ignored as well. I even made eye contact with one of the bartenders and some drunk annoying girl shouted at him for shots (it was before 6pm on a Saturday, mind you). Schaumburg staff needs help!! When you visit Dave & Buster's for a fun gaming experience, you're sure to have a great time at their new location with a wide variety of games. However, if you plan on dining there, it might be best to try one of their other branches until they iron out some issues. During our visit for the new menu release and 50% off deal, the food left much to be desired. Service was slow, our orders were incorrect, and they didn't all come out together. My entrée arrived before my husband's, who had to wait 15 minutes for his meal. Even dessert took another 15 minutes to arrive, and it was still frozen in the middle. The manager was kind enough to visit our table and offer us some free gameplay, which was a nice gesture. Clearly, the kitchen at this location needs some serious improvement. read more

If I could leave more stars I would. Last time I was at a Dave & Busters it was pre-pandemic at the Addison location, which we loved. We since moved and conveniently this location just opened in February. I walked in not sure what to think because the Gameworks (which was at this location before) was really needing an update. I was honestly completely surprised at how amazing the location looks, and even more stunned at the amazing service we received while we were there. Honestly I had an incredibly tough day in my personal life, and LITERALLY spent 8 hours at the hospital with my mom while she went for a chemo treatment. I am not saying that because this staff knew that or gave me any special treatment because of that. But I am mentioning that because they turned my day around WITHOUT knowing that because of how incredibly caring they are. I MUST shout out ALANA the game tech/checkout at the shop specifically. We stopped by earlier in the night with OLD players cards, Alana helped me and assured me all my points and tickets were still on there and merged everything on one card. She was talking to my VERY shy niece and breaking her out of her shell.. Later, she saw us checking out a racing game, which she ran over excitedly and said it was her favorite and wanted to treat us to the game. She explained the rules scanned us on and even helped my niece adjust the seat and get set up. The bartenders were also really great and made me some delicious margs! Also had a manager give us extra points for the inconvenience when a game swallowed our credits and was not working. We didn't really even complain, I just wanted the 15 credits back but they went above and beyond. Fun time for the kids to bad they closed the one in addison, nice bar reasonable food.

Went on a Wednesday, and was seated upstairs. Our server was clueless and struggled to handle 4 tables (every other table upstairs was empty). She also asked a few times if I was a rewards member, which I had to remind her that she already wrote down my phone number. The food was sad. The crispy chicken tenders had no crispiness and were very soggy - the minimal breading fell off immediately upon picking one up. The fries were hard as a rock. After voicing my concerns about the food to the manager, our server came back and told my date that I must be mad at her, and after we paid she wanted to shake our hands. Very strange behavior. Probably not going to this location for food ever again - I wouldn't trust any place that messes up something as basic as chicken tenders. read more

Brought my daughter and friends there for some fun on a rainy day. Food was cold, and when I ordered a drink the bartender slammed the drink down spilling a good portion of the liquid. He topped it off with the sugary mix making the drink undrinkable. Asked him if he was having a bad day and he told me to mind my own business. lol. Okay. The service was incredible an employee let us have at least one free game because me and my friend are new to the location and it was awesome. The ambience is phenomenal. I love all of the racing games that are VR or motion based also the Godzilla VR was incredible and also a lot of of these games that are not at Rosemont is incredible even though we didn't have any of the food at this location I probably would consider going back and having food I would recommend this Dave & Buster's location over the Rosemont one Schaumburg has the better one read more
