We checked in before 7:30 and were initially placed on the first floor. We immediately asked if it was possible to move to a higher floor, and were directed to a manager--who denied the request without even checking availability. That already set the tone for the experience. Things didn't improve from there. Our waiter brought a drink to the wrong person in our party and didn't card them. We had to step in and clarify that they were not the same person. It was honestly a bit uncomfortable and came across as careless and unprofessional. On top of that, we specifically asked to split the bill between drinks and the game for each person--something that's advertised as easy to do for groups. Instead, it was handled poorly. Everyone ended up being charged separately for their drinks and then again for the game portion, making it confusing and frustrating to sort out. We had to wait about 30 min for a booth during the week which was odd, as it seemed there were plenty of booths open but it wasn't the end of the world. The technology is great how you can see ball speed and play games with a point system - way cooler than your traditional driving range. The service was great, a waiter/waitress came by every so often to see if we wanted anything. There is no call button or anything, so you do have to rely on them walking by or coming up to the table. The food was mid, nothing to really write home about. The donuts were the best thing of the night with the warm raspberry jam. The worst thing was the buffalo chicken potato skins. It just had an off putting texture, we just weren't fans. The games were fun! I for sure cannot golf, so it's nice that some of the games are friendly for even the beginner golfer. Topgolf is a fun place to go if you go at the right times! They have lots of discounts going on and it is soooo worth it. We ordered the honey hot pizza which was good. I recommend it. We also ordered a s'mores skillet and if you are there to share with a couple of friends, it is worth the try. I had a lot of fun hitting golf balls and their food. Went here for a birthday party with a big group and we had a tasty charcuterie party platter, guac and cheese dip with chips and salsa. The buffalo chicken dip would have to be my favorite, it comes in a cast iron so it stays warm for a while. So good. Visited this past week in the AM and had a server by the name of Madison(didn't bother letting us know her name) Started off with one hr of game, a couple of waters, a couple of drinks, and buffalo dip. Asked for some hot sauce too. Then went on to order wings which were too big and wet when biting into even though they were extra crispy. We sent them back and decided on the tacos. I guess they were pissed and decided to take their sweet time bringing them out. At this point there was 15 minutes left of game which I decided against extending because I figured we'll eat our tacos and head out. Nope. Took them 20+ minutes after the game was done to get the tacos to the table. The energy was off and of course Madison needed to get help. Now the tipping point was when the server working next to our table looked over and rolled her eyes. I'm guessing she didn't believe anyone saw her because she seemed extremely shocked when I called her out on it or she's an excellent liar. The manager on duty, Lejla, was amazing. She refused a tip and even extended an hr of gameplay to use on a future visit. Although I appreciate her kindness, I'll be avoiding the Schaumburg location for now. Madison service was a 3/5, I truly believe it was her co-worker who was sabotaging her because Madison would've gotten a great tip. I could be wrong though. This is a great place to get outdoors while still staying warm under a heat lamp. My wife and I came here for a fun date. We made a reservation the day prior and while we made it for an hour we ended up extending an extra 15 minutes. I recently came here with my family to celebrate a birthday. I had been several times before so I knew what to expect. It's a very fun activity for a group, but it can be pricey. I was surprised that each player needed to pay $5 to add their name to the screen. This was in addition to the hourly rate. We had pre-booked online and already entered our credit card information, however, they still made us give a physical card to put on file. I love Top Golf... But my love for it has been a more recent thing! I came here with my coworkers last spring for our end of the school year function, and I had such a blast! This was not my first time visiting TopGolf but I really just enjoyed it! I decided to sign my daughter up for their kids golf camp after years of trying to get her into golf, and one of her friends joined her... let me tell you, their camp sparked a love for golf with my daughter. Since then we've done a few private lessons for her which she has loved. My daughter and I came to TG on Valentine's Day for my husbands first time and he is hooked as well! While I wish I could give it a 5 , it is rather pricey to golf here. Granted they have their reasons, but it does add a little salt to the wound. We came by a on a Friday night and a few of the bays around us were empty. We had Payton as our waiter and she was so very attentive all night long. On this day the weather went from 70 to 30 degrees as the sun set and we were kept warm by the heater. For the golfing, they have clubs for you to use and various targets to hit. To say that I'm a horrible shot, is already too much of a compliment. But the tee and the different circles make it a bit easier to have targets to aim for. The food was fun, the Mac and cheese bites and the garlic knots were delish. The nachos were a bit of a disappointment for how expensive they are. We also did the Buffalo chicken dip which was great to share along with the wing sampler and the flatbread. All in all we had a great time; and they brought out a dessert to sing happy birthday to our birthday girl! :) read more

Even if you don't know how to golf (which was me..I held the golf club like a baseball bat...and I had one of the top scores...it was just fun to try something new and enjoy a beautiful sunny day. Although, even if it's bad weather I could still see it being fun. You're in a covered area with TV's and table and chairs and the golf ball is electronically monitored. So wherever you hit it shows it. Cons: 1) they need to fix the women's bathroom doors. The handicap "accessible" stall is not. You can't even close it because the lock doesn't line up so if you are not able to hold it still whilst pushing it in, you cannot lock your stall. 2) it should be explained over the phone and in person (neither time it was explained) that the "service charge" for big parties or events does not go only to the server working the party..it is split amongst bartenders, buffet runner, etc. in other words, if you get good service you need to make sure you tip the server on top of your service charge. This should be explained. Our server never said anything and he was always in good spirits but I asked another server. When you work in the service industry you double check these things. Hameed took care of all of us, 17 total and he was very quick with everything and he had this contagious smile and attitude. It was such a great time! You should consider this for work events, family, friends, or date night! I even saw family time happening with boys working out their frustrations on hacking at the golf balls and the moms sitting back and taking a well deserved moment. read more

What an awesome facility! It's not cheap to play here but the quality of the experience makes it well worth the visit. Here's some reasons why: - The facility is enormous, clean, and modern looking - Parking is super plentiful and the size of the lot makes it easy to drive around - There's lots of great picture opportunities throughout the whole facility - The staff is very attentive and super helpful (especially with group pictures and directing people!) - Food is handled well, coming out hot and plated nicely, and the quality is good as well - There's lots of space to hangout even when you're not golfing, great for corporate parties - The menu is quite extensive for both food and drink, enough to cater to anyone's needs - The furniture is very comfortable for lounging around, especially on a warm summer evening All this and more were reasons why I had a great experience with them at Ascend Midwest's event recently. I'm not a golfer, never even picked up a club. I wouldn't even call myself a mini golfer. Even so, I found myself driving out to Schaumburg for my first-ever visit to Top Golf. You drive up to this massive three-story building, with the back open to a immense green. There is a very large parking lot and I entered the building to find my friend waiting for me in the lobby and they didn't have my reservation (more on this later). Nevertheless they gave us a bay on the second floor. It was pretty busy (in my opinion) for a Tuesday evening. Tuesday's are 50 percent off. There's a bar on the first floor, a shop, lots of comfortable seating, we went up to the second floor. Each bay has a hightop with stools, selection of clubs and large screens that show the score, etc. We ordered drinks and apps. These came out fairly quickly -- delicious cheese flatbread, very tasty hummus and vegs + pita, chicken strips, guac, chips and Mac n cheese bites. The food was great! Server bought food out right away, generous helpings for our group, mac and cheese bites were melty and cheesy -- the best! At about this time I started getting texts that my bay was now ready. This was from my reservation (that they couldn't find). The staff came upstairs to let me know about the mixup and that I wouldn't get charged for 2 bays. Later, the manager came by to make sure everything was cleared up and gave us an extra 30 minutes. The games were fun. Let's face it, I was TERRIBLE, but I still had fun. It was a lovely evening and the heat lamps came on and it was a challenge for me to hit the ball. During the angry birds game I knocked all the birds down and I got really excited but I was still HORRIBLE but it was a GOOD time. At one point my friend knocked over their drink and they were there to quickly get it cleaned up. At another point when I went to the bathroom (very clean, well maintained) I came back to find food all other the floor. My friends said, it wasn't us! It was a server and again, this was cleaned up and taken away pretty fast. This is a great looking, well maintained facility with lots of helpful and friendly people. This is my first time at Top Golf and second time at a golf driving range. My company held a party here for 20+ people and it was a blast! We came on a Tuesday night (tip: 50% off on Tuesday evenings, btw) and the place was packed! Atmosphere was energetic and many smiling and laughing guests everywhere. Employees were very friendly and helpful. Food was decent too! Guac and chips were tasty. We had buffet of build your own tacos fajitas or bowl. The chocolate chip cookies were to die for! Service was attentive and they offered wide variety of beverages, even for non-drinkers! I enjoyed the hot tea and coffees while golfing under the heated lamps in chilly 40F degree weather.
