Honestly, my daughter had fun, and that's all that matters, but I ordered a salad bar and there was no frickin salad at the bar!!!! How does that happen? Nary a piece of lettuce or spinach was there and forget about some toppings. There were literally no bacon bits or sunflower seeds and I overheard a staff telling another customer that they didn't have any more in the back. I should have asked for my money back, because I paid ten dollars for a little bit of lettuce (which they brought out later), some onion and cheese with dressing. I also noticed several people around the salad bar with no masks on. Gross. read more

we visited the end of June on a family vacation from Colorado and Cheyenne was the absolute sweetest employee! Chuck E. Cheese - Pizza Near Me - Citrus Heights, California

First time ever visit for my granddaughters ages 5 and 20 months old. As a retired elementary teacher, I have been to many "Chuck E Cheese Pizza Nights" and was pleasantly surprised at the nice updates including a swipe card to use for rides and games and the availability of well placed booths for people to eat while watching their party play games, ride or play on the climbing structures. I appreciate their focus on kid safety as you are stamped with an invisible number which corresponds to your child's number. As you exit, these numbers are checked to make sure you have your child. We went on Dec 26 which was great as it was warm inside and not as many people as most were shopping. read more

Worst service when i came up to get my baby a prize, first off the women that was suppose to help out with prizes was not even there she walked out 4 min later, super slow coming out the door like she didnt want to even be there. This is a kids friendly environment and people like her shouldnt be there at all makes me feel unsafe takening my child there. It was our turn we were waiting for her to count our tickets, she didnt even look at us and moved onto the next person. when the next customer said i feel bad you should help them first she answered dont even worry about them its not a big deal i found that ver rude and racist! Her name is Ericka so beaware of rude and racist service when you see her. I dont think i will bring my child here anymore there are better and mich friendly places around than here, its sad because i grew up coming to this place and it was much better before. read more

Omg what a terrible night for supporting the schools next Time I would rather just give money to the schools - one person cashier - 2nd in line took 30 min - ordered a pizza took an hour to get it after I escalated the order in the pizza window - 10+ people standing at the pizza window. Money for an hour on cards ran out - had to get the pizza to go! My 5 year old kept saying this is a rip off and I agree! read more

I figured I would put in a recent review for this place because it's been years since I have been here! When I walked in I was asked how old I was because apparently I looked under 18! Lol I'm 22 years old so I get it, I look young but I guess the rule is...if you're 18 or under you can't enter without an adult? I thought 18 years old was a legal adult if it not mistaken. Anyways on the actual place itself. I'm here on a Wednesday it's mid afternoon and I was surprised to not see many people are actually here. One thing I noticed is that the old robotic guys on the stage don't sing anymore they just kind of move back and forth. Extremely creep looking if you ask me. The games are a little updated from what I can see, so it seems to keep kids entertained. Everything looks a bit dirty though. Like this place could use a very good wipe down. The floors weren't vacuumed and there was a bunch of little food and particles on the ground. Second I noticed that one table had cardboard holding the foot so it was balanced correctly. It's small but still looks kinda janky yah know? I went to the bathroom to see what they looked like and they are okay, they could be cleaner but kids go in there and get crazy I'm sure. All in all the cleanliness of this place could be better, and the vibes here are extremely boring for adults and older kids but it all depends on the person I guess. The manager was extremely polite and made sure we were doing okay, the employees are alright as well, not very energetic or social for that matter. This place is a bit run down and I feel like more energy and a better atmosphere could be provided if they wanted to. read more

Brought my grandkids to Chuck-E-Cheese Thursday October 18th. Worst experienceof my life. I've been coming here for 40-plus years. Couldn't read the code on my coupon so sitting here struggling to find another coupon that they can read. Ended up spending $20 more than I needed to. There's an in-store coupon and the manager or the cashier never gave me any information about it. This place is completely empty. I wonder why? After all the years of enjoying Chuck-E-Cheese I doubt if I'll ever come back. Seems counterproductive that you charge so much money for an hour worth of play and you can't even help your customers find coupons and the place is empty. Wouldn't you rather have it full than empty? No guest service, no guest satisfaction. It's just all about the money. Really sad that all the places for children are closing down because of greed. read more

Just as great as I remember it as kid, minus the pocketfuls of jingling coins! They have changed over to card form. Simply load the card with as much as you're heart desires and have fun. Same great games, tickets and greasy pizza! Fun fun fun! And my 2 year old daughter had fun too! Great place for birthdays and good old fashioned family fun. After reading some of the other reviews I was compelled to defend this place a bit.... First of all, people for the love of God, get this through your thick skulls, Chuck E Cheeses isn't a freaking gourmet pizzeria. The pizza here is supposed to be greasy and cardboard like. That's exactly how I remember it as a child. That's what makes it so great, it's something you never got to have at home and boy did it taste good! The salad bar is just there to shut the health nuts up, it's not supposed to be great, you are at Chuck E Cheese's not Fresh Choice. And last but not least, yes!this place is meant to be a money pit. Tokens/points cost money, in what world did you think they'd be free. How do you expect this place stays in business? Definitely not the gourmet pizza ;) Our experience today was great! Friendly service, same terrible pizza and a clean facility, no complaints! So let's stop with the insults of the fat parents in reviews, as that is beyond the control of this fine establishment and just enjoy the time with your family, as you might remember it as a kid, judgement and bitch free! read more

Chuck E. Cheese - This place is empty on a Monday evenings, perfect time to take the kids! - Pizza Near Me - Citrus Heights, California

My daughter loves to come here. I can spend less than $20.00 for her to play some games and kill time. If she wants to stick around longer for pizza, it's still not badly priced. My only reason for not giving a full five stars is that I feel like it could be a bit cleaner. Often there is trash lying around. Although this is not the store's fault (since the consumer's are the ones to leave it), I do think they could make a better effort to clean. read more

I relived my childhood today! Crazy how I used to look forward to this place more than anything, it was like Disneyland! Games: the games aren't too modern, but there's still your classic wheel of fortune, skee ball, and air hockey! Three stars because many times I scanned my electronic card and it charged the card but the game didn't end up working so it was kinda a jip for a couple of the games. I recommend playing the pink panther game it's so fun and addicting! Tickets: Many games only give you a few tickets, and the prizes are measly for the amount of tickets so definitely don't come here only to win prizes, come for the fun! We had 200 tickets and could only get the little prizes like a piece of candy and such. I think they should consider upgrading the prizes/rewards for your ticket count! This is definitely a kids place (emphasis on kid) I'd say it's good for ages 4-7 and then after that they may not be too thrilled or excited. Once after that age group I'd recommend going to Johns Incredible Pizza instead, they have a little more grown up of games at the arcades read more

I have been coming here for years and this place had definitely gone down hill. Customer service is horrible! They just stand at the counter and don't acknowledge you. The good people that worked here, Savannah and Alana quit, might be time for us to quit coming to this location too. read more

This place is like the kids version of going to Las Vegas. Sounds coming from all directions, kids anxiously waiting for their "machines" to spit out their big winnings (tickets) and the more coins you give them, the more they want to spend. I took 5 kids to Chuck E Cheese's for one my sons' birthday last week. They LOVED it. They were each given a shitload of tokens and sent out into the madness. I wondered around, putting a token here and a token there. What a rip off! Before I even knew whatever game had started it was "game over" and spit out ONE ticket. The kids didn't seem to mind as they would just keep feeding these greedy machines token after token and getting super excited over the ticket they got that would soon get them THE PRIZE OF A LIFETIME! (totally kidding, all they give out are those things you get per dozen at Oriental trading for about a dollar and even so the kids need like a gazillion tickets) As far as I was concerned there were only 2 really cool things there. One of them took a picture and sketched it for only one token and the other was a picture printed on a really cute plastic card that was worth more than whatever they got for all the tickets they accumulated and it cost only one token also. I had not taken my kids here in years as the last time I took them, one of my kids ended up hospitalized because he caught a really nasty virus from this place. I took them again because now they are bigger and know not to touch things and put hands in their mouths. Overall... the kids thought it was super cool, so who am I to argue with the ones that should know ;) read more

Some serious LA-style attitudes in these reviews! It's freakin' Chuck E. Cheese. This isn't where you go for great Italian fare nor top-flight New York pizza. You get OK pizza only kids will love and they run bat-shit-crazy-wild. I can't stand kids, but my cousins love this place so once in a while I get them amped up, feed them a ton of sugar and caffeine and watch the mirth and hilarity ensue. Lighten up, people. Chuck E. Cheese is where a kid can be a kid. Stop being an asshole and let them. read more

Main complaints about this one, as to why I am reviewing it less than the other Sacramento are counterparts. 1) Size: Its not that big, less games than most, and ultimately at least a few are out of order (such as the bowling game). 2) I always appreciate (gag) when I am waiting in line for a few minutes while the manager and two other coworkers take part in friendly banter. I mean, its not like my little sister isn't antsy after a week at school (and me after my two job lifestyle) to get right into the games. After the banter is over and attention is turned to me, then complain about working almost a ten hour shift with "this staff." While it is not good business practices to bitch about your job around customers, you have little sympathy from me, as I work 40+ hours night shift in the ER, and guess what my second job is, lady.....that's right, working with kids. After venting to me, she finally took my order, and started to process my credit card wrong, and joked she should pay better attention. You think?!?!? Sorry for the cranky review, but holy hell.....learn how to do customer service in a high maintenance job, or go dig ditches. read more

I'll give 2 stars because they physically exist and provided some sort of entertainment to my wild tribe. Stood at the door for long enough to me to get annoyed and have to literally shout for someone to come help us. I walked over to the register... Again... I waited long enough to get annoyed and yell for someone get help us. And my response you ask? A girl looking at me and asked if I had been helped... Clearly NOT. Then I had for wait for longer for someone to help me. I wasn't given cups when I ordered so I went back to the same woman and we had an interaction so brainless and anti social that I think I was actually grinding my teeth afterwards. I'd reach my word limit trying to recreate that horrible back and forth. As I said on my check in: I loath chuck e cheese and I go out of sheer necessity... read more

I went with some family members, and my two year old today. It's really not the same as it used to be. The play center is gone. No more climbing, no more ball pit. All of the games rip you off. ALL of thems. On numerous (like 5) occasions we hit the "jackpot", and it gave us 2 tickets. After telling the attendant they gave us 4 tokens, and 50 tickets (not OK). In the kids section, two of the games were broken. The steering wheel had broken off of one, and the mallet game just started vibrating while we were playing it - again, no tickets. There is a game that involves hitting the button to stop on a certain number, or "jackpot". It's like my game, I own that game. At Johns, I can sit there all night and hit the jackpot playing that game. At Chuck E Cheeses', nope. I showed my cousin while I was playing. Aimed for the number before the jackpot, got it. Aimed for the number after the jackpot, got it. This was the same for the wheel/slot game also. On top of that, you don't win ANY of the games. It's ridiculous. $35 in tokens. 680 tickets. 2$ worth of prizes (if that). My advice: Go to johns incredible pizza factory. The games are CHEAPER. My daughter and I won the same amount of tickets for half the price, better games, THAT YOU ACTUALLY WIN (cause they aren't rigged) and, THEY HAVE RIDES. Boo chuck e cheese, you've always sucked, but never this badly. read more

GAWD! I hate this place. Ghetto, some of my friends have called Chuck E. Cheese's. Its crowded with smelly, snot nosed kids. The parents are overweight, bossy mothers who won't get out of your way. The pizza tastes like cardboard and the salad bar is from out of cans and bags. BUT...EVERY kid I know LOVES this place. They don't care about the taste of the pizza, other people or salad! They want tokens, token, tokens. Its an introduction to gambling. My kids eyes light up when I tell the we will be going to visit the Rat. Its all about playing games and collecting tickets so you can get the prize at the end. Those awful junk toy prizes are the best thing ever to a four year old. The best and only reason for going is for my children's happiness. And they do serve beer. read more

Oh Chuck, you are such a creeper for adults. But the kids seem to adore you. I wouldn't come for the pizza or any form of adult entertainment. This is strictly for the kids. They love it. Coupons will get you tons of tokens. I worry about the small ones - keep them supervised, especially at this shady location. There is a glow wrist stamp system they have implemented there that was semi reassuring. I was mostly surprised by the friendly staff. Those kids are holding it down! Well done! read more

So not a fan of the whole franchise but this location is definitely the best. Clean efficient and great customer service!! My grandfather came from Covelo (4hour drive) to bring the grandkids here 3/12/16 The service sucked! The chubby cashier was rude. Found a table and had to ask the door lady for it be wiped off, since no one else was on the floor. No one came so I finally had to ask again. I went to the restroom and it was disgusting! I walked out and there was an employee coming out of a room. I asked if there was a family bathroom she said No. I told her if was so gross! She said Oh that's not my job that's Ross. Well I waited 5 minutes for Ross to clean the bathroom he never came! There was no toilet paper or seat covers I had to grab from the men's which was horrible also. Finally went to the front and spoke with a Brittany or Rachelle was her name I believe she was so sweet. I told her about my experience and she said Oh I'll go clean it. Where is the team work!! You don't serve that young lady she's better than your location. read more

I live in Roseville and the Chuck E Cheese that is close to my house is not one I like to go to because it gets too busy and too crowded. Don't come here without finding coupons for tokens online. BIG PLUS. read more

Lousy overpriced food and drink: $30 Number of kids running around like maniacs: 75 Cost in tokens to win a $10 toy: $50 Look on your child's face when they walk in... Priceless. Don't expect an inexpensive outing, or great food, or even all machines to working.... but is that really what we expect here? No! The kids LOVE it!! It's good entertainment. Bite the bullet and go have some fun... you might just remember what it is like to be a kid again yourself. The staff is friendly, and they keep the place fairly clean - considering all the sticky/greasy little hands running around. There are areas for the younger toddlers as well. I bring my three year old nephew here every once in a while, he has a very short attention span and this place keeps him going for hours. We went once on a Friday evening and it was a very rough crowd. The adults are really rude and will cut off the kids to play a game, and don't watch their own kids who were too old to be there in the first place. I feel sorry for what the staff must have to deal with :( I have no complaints about the weekday mornings. You get the place to yourself and the staff is always super friendly and accommodating. The pizza isn't the best and looks pretty scary after 5 minutes so I would suggest eating beforehand or sticking to salad and sides. The place is always clean and they have a great selection of games that seem to work most of the time. read more

Great place to take the kids. We visited on a Sunday around 7pm. The place was not crowded which is always nice (Expected - 90min til closing). The reason I gave five stars is mainly because of the manager. He's friendly, responds quickly to issues (Re: Ice machine), and sets a good example to the staff. Also, having five years of sales experience I can say the staff are good at upselling. The place was clean, friendly staff and the pizza was good n cheesy, just the way we like it (Ordered a personal size pepperoni) Bottom Line: I haven't been to Check E. Cheese in over ten years but after tonight we will definitely be back. read more

Just as the few other reviewers have said.... Yes the staff is awesome and they really made our visit for my 3 year olds birthday party so much easier and a better experience. Moe is awesome! And so is the other tall gal working behind the counter at the same time (I'm so sorry I didn't get your name but you know who you are!) I was apprehensive about the customer service at ol' Chuck's because for so many years past, the staff was nothing but rude youngsters who don't care about their job. Even if The people working yesterday on Saturday Aug 20 in the afternoon don't care about their job, they don't show it and the customer has no idea. The pizza is even actually pretty good now-a-days too! The whole environment at this location has improved just even since my 14 year old was 2-3 years old.
