This place is awesome for kids. They just got better with the cards. I like the cards better than the tokens. Now you don't have to carry a bowl for your tokens, you can just swipe a card! But the only thing bad about Chuck e cheese, is that they really do have lame prizes. Like a barbie doll for 5,000 tickets, or a slinky for 200. Sunslpash arcade has amazing prizes. Beware of this company. They don't tell you the total.of your parry until after they charge your card for the 50.00 deposit. The representative was rude and her supervisor kept me on hold for ever. It took a lot of yelling and a supervisor to get my money back. Do not go with them for anything. Please keep in mind this was the call center and not the actual location. read more

Chuck E. Cheese when I was growing up was a messy zoo-like place. This Chuck E. Cheese (katty corner Sunrise mall) is very clean, organized, and has friendly staff. Even the salad bar was regularly cleaned and nice. Great place! The only reason I'm not giving them 5 stars is they need to improve the pizza they ship out to the franchise locations. The corporation needs to take all the money they're making and hire a chef to make something better. But this location is excellent; great for kiddie bd parties like what my family visited for. read more

Why cant I give zero stars? Yes I am yelping this ridiculous thing they consider a business. I took my niece here with my dad and kid sister and must say I was very disappointed in everything. I know this place isn't made for adults to enjoy, I mean after all this is the place "where a kid can be a kid" right? Sure if you don't mind every game breaking down on you, have to ask for assistance every 5 minutes, constantly watching and making sure other kids aren't stealing your kids tokens, tickets, etc, if you enjoy beyond sh***y pizza that is way over priced, and if you think it's acceptable for a giant oversized rat to walk around and hang out with your kids. I don't ever come here for the food, but my daughter loves to come here and play. I would of gave it 5 stars before, because it used to be so affordable to come here and play. Now they switched over from tokens (25 cents a piece) to the card that you purchase credits for and its much more expensive than before. We still have fun coming here, its just not as good of a deal anymore. read more

After playing at Arden customer service was bad got food poisoning from salad bar drove 14 miles to go to greenback. Played several months great service, had my grandson 2nd Birthday. Sad to say it was the most horrible Bday I had to do the whole party myself party host was only at my party 4 minutes all party favors didn't get to table after 1:20 piñata got at table about 2:20 party started at 12:30 to 2:30 then she told me I had to clean the table which I did because I'm not a pig she was supposed to stay the two hrs plus forgot one pizza pretty much don't recommend this place for a party I will never have another chucky cheese bday at any locations. Very disappointed family here. The food was actually ok but the management was not great and does not seem to care about their clientele at all. We hadn't been here in several YEARS... In general, the games are fun and the tables are clean, but the staff is way subpar. After speaking to a staff member, we were assured that we would not need a reservation to use the larger tables in the back for our 6 year olds soccer party. No one suggested making a reservation, just in case or anything of the sort. A week later, on the day of the party, we were told we could not use the larger tables because they have so many parties that day. Instead of simply taking responsibility for her mistake, the staff memeber my husband spoke to pretended that it wasnt her problem and sauntered off. As a former retail manager, I understand that people are human and mistakes are made; however, I do not tolerate people pretending that they did nothing wrong. There was plenty she could have said when my husband spoke to her originally AND when we walked that could have potentially lessened our frustration, but we got nothing. Furthermore, as I sit here writing this review, I see children climbing up the outside of a tube slide and climbing on top of games and there is NO STAFF to be seen. Not one person walking the floor ensuring the everyone stays safe and follows some kind of rules. I know that ultimately it's the parents responsibility, but lets be honest there should be staff helping keep an eye on things. Bottom line, my daughter loves Chuck E. Cheese, but the staff here needs serious customer training. read more

Ok so I went here today and it was so NASTY and DIRTY. The salad bar was gross super dirty and the tongs were everywhere the soda area was messy and had soda all over the floor. It was beyond disgusting. And alot of the games were broken and jammed up with coins. I will never come here again it was just as bad as the Arden location. Ill be sticking to the Roseville location. Nice and clean it doesnt even compare to this location. read more

Went here today and ordered the buffet with water. We saw a young boy get soda with his water cup so my son decided he wanted soda too. So my husband got some soda, and over comes a worker asking to take our cup away. I told her about the young boy getting soda and she said "oh". So i went to buy a soda cup so she would leave us alone. After seating here another 20 mins, ive seen the same boy come back for soda in his water cup 3 times. And no one bothered him! After playing at the Arden location several times we came to the Sunrise location for a birthday party and I was pleased to see that there was more available for toddlers to do! There were still way too many people and it was way too hot inside ... but it was an okay place to spend a rainy day! Next time I'm going to try to go on a weekday to avoid the crowd! read more

Not to mention they get to eat all the droppings for free... When I questioned a worker I was told the dog in a dress was a service dog. They didn't know about the other dog there. Yes, two dogs running all over. They did nothing! All service dogs I know don't run around all over. They stay by their owner in order to help them. read more

It has been my experience in the past that C.E.C is dark, noisy, dirty, and with lousy food. The last time I was there in SoCal was about 5 years ago. Simply put, I avoid it at ALL costs. So my next door neighbor's girl had her birthday party there. The kids hands all get stamped and you get matching stamps as your kid. As you leave they check & make sure they all match. I dont know what would happen if someone messed up & gave you the wrong stamp by accident. Would they call the police? Is there security?? So as part of the birthday party every kid gets a credit card instead of tokens-much easier to manage. But we found lots of cards with a balance on them so kids were leaving them on the machines. Shame. I saw some kids with lanyards or the stretchy bracelets to hang the card to prevent losing it. Great idea! They must be regulars there! So the place seemed pretty clean but in the over 3 hours we were there I didn't see one machine get washed. There were lots of different kinds of games appealing to certain age ranges. I personally didn't eat any pizza but my hubby said it was better than little caesars (which is the worst & most disgusting pizza around). They gave the adults their choice of pizza, chicken wings, french fries, garlic bread & unlimited soda fountain. The birthday girl also had chocolate and vanilla cakes which looked cookie cutter Walmart style 8-10" round. All the kids seemed satisfied & there were 4 or 5 other birthday parties going on at the same time which made things very chaotic. All in all, the place has improved some. I will still continue to avoid it but just be warned that no matter how much fun the kids seem to have, it still feels like gambling. Take the birthday to somewhere like BounceU to wear them out & get away from the blinking lights and computer games. Good old exercise is still the best!! Cheers! read more

Great place to have a reasonably prices party. I did not do the scheduled party because it is pretty pricey. I did a walk in used their coupon for the pizza, drinks and tokens. The employees were very friendly and they were well staffed. The store was clean and bright and had recently been updated with new games. I also bought on the spot one of their birthday cakes for $10 it was a 10 inch diameter and was pretty good. They also brought out candles and matches along with the cake. The pizza was not very good but the kids liked it, Salad bar was good. I also bought a very large helium balloon for $3.99 and they wrote my sons name and age and delivered it to the table. I only had my son and 3 friends for the party and I paid $55 total for the big balloon, cake, 1 lg pizza , 1 salad bar for me, 4 sodas for the kids and 100 tokens. (using the coupons that come in the Sunday paper. 100 tokens kept 4 kids entertained for a little over an hour then they cashed in for their prizes. I always like this location because it does not get super busy and because it is all on on level so it is easy to keep an eye on the kids. After we left my 7 year old said I gave him the best party ever! That was the best, I will be back. read more

This place is such a money pit!! We paid $40 for a crappy, greasy, cardboard pizza, 3 sodas and an all you can eat salad bar plus some credits for the kids to use. Very few of the games take tokens anymore so if you`ve been hoarding them like my youngest you will need to stand at the machine and painstakingly turn them into credits on the cards they provide...but watch out for the swiper on the games! My son was standing next to (not playing, just standing next to) one of the games and it was taking credits off his card THROUGH his pocket!! He didnt realize he could say something to the workers there so he felt obligated to play the game...a few times since it continued to take his credits as he stood watching his friend play the game. So if your kids complain that they are out of credits too quick this may be why ;/ The ice cream machine will try to rip you off also, it takes your money but rarely dispenses the ice cream bar. The manager was quick to handle issues (I saw him running around like a chicken with his head cut off) but it`s just not worth it to me. I enjoyed it more when I could give the kids a handfull of tokens and have them check back in with me for another handfull...now you have to follow them around keeping an eye on the machine while doing math just to make sure they arent mysteriously losing credits lol. The vibe is the same there and the kids did have fun. read more

I threw my daughter's 4th birthday party on the 13th here spent almost 300 $ and the host that was assigned to me was extremely unprofessional, to start it off I paid for each of the children to have the most expensive package. My host was to busy chatting with her Co workers while I was asking her for cups, plates, forks, and tokens when she should have had them ready to go. She did not bring me a single thing without me asking except the food. One of the staff members snatched a plate out of my guests hands and threw it away because she didn't know that we had to have salad plates. One of my guests bought his own tokens because I asked her to get my 60 tokens for each child while she took her time my guest bought tokens. One of my guests asked for a salad so I went and ordered 5 salads plates well my host took to long and my guest bought his own salads so I told her I did not want them anymore. I paid for the piñata and my host grabs the pinata and stands on a chair telling the children to hit the piñata with their freaking goodie bags.....um I don't think that's how you bust a pinata...that's how kids get hurt. I decided to take the piñata home and let the kids bust open a pinata the right way. Well my host failed to tell me there was tickets and tokens inside the pinata and it would be a waste to take it home and more beneficial to at least break it open. Thanks alot host..... even though she is a young host that doesn't know how to do her job I still tipped her to be nice. To top it all off with the package I paid for my daughter she should have recieved a tiara and cape but never did. I was to busy asking for simple things that should have been taken care of to even remember that until I got home. Never will I book a party here again their hosts really don't know what the hey are doing. read more
