The food (pizza) was good. We used the Summer Package coupon. However, the original pizza crust was more like a thin crust -- but to each their own. My 3-year-old grand-twins had a great time. We have been coming to this Chuck E. Cheese for years. Their pizza is one of our kids favorites, that we often even door dash just their pizza bundle box a few times a month. It had been a while since we did a door dash because the previous time it wasn't up to par. So we decided a couple nights ago because my son was having some friends sleep over. Let me just say the pizza was so bad. Half of the pepperoni one had no cheeee and no sauce, and they both looked and tasted like water or something had spilled over it before they boxed it up. I can't exactly remember the last time I had been to a Chuck E. Cheese, but it's probably been since the 70's! In fact, I wasn't aware that these pizza places were still in business until now! That's because I was recently invited to a children's birthday party. My late fiancée, Joe K's granddaughter was celebrating her 6th birthday. Even though this location was a long drive away from my residence, I looked forward to seeing his side of the family again after a couple of years. I get lost easily, but still managed to find this place with little trouble. There is plenty of parking available even though it is part of a large and popular strip mall. The interior of the business was bustling with children and adults alike. It seemed like they crammed as much fun as they could fit into this warehouse sized room. As I entered, I noted that all the games, toys, music and lights are at the front half of the room. Long tables are located at the back end where the parties and food eating are placed. Featuring Pasquales Pizza. They even made specialty pizza for those who require dietary restrictions. There were several children's parties going on at the same time, and felt a little cramped. The kids get bracelets with swipe cards attached to use for unlimited game playing during their allotted reservation time. Amongst the celebrations going on, the star of the pizza parlor arrives: Chuck E. Cheese himself. That's when the excited children get to watch him put on a singing and dance routine with staff members, include the kids to join in, and pose for photographs. It seems like a great place to entertain youngsters and maintain the party on a high energy level. Since I'm not a high energy person, I felt a little overwhelmed, but I survived well enough! I looks like this is a fun place for the kids and you can't go wrong with having a party here at least once in their life time, and maybe acquire some memories for that old Chuck E. 11/16/25 Our grandson's 2nd birthday was held there today. Majority of the games did not work, and I'm not exaggerating about majority. The birthday party staff were terrible. Our son-in-law ended up purchasing additional tickets so the kids could play in the trampoline/jungle gym area. Yes, that's not included when you buy the token card for your children. I never knew Chuck E. Cheese had a jungle gym area, but then it's been several years since I've been to one. I'm only giving it a two star because majority of the games were not functional and I only seen one staff member come by once in the three hours that we were there to bring a caddy that had plates and forks, but no napkins. I would say choose another Chuck E. Cheese to host your child's party. They appeared to be short staffed as the same lady that took our food order was also bussing tables. I like to go to Chuck E. Cheese around 2-5 pm on week days so there is not that many kids there. You do have to pay extra for adventure playground but they don't really pay attention to whom is inside . I always pay for my kids and then I see randomly kind without paying are playing inside in their shoes and no one from the term are addressing that issue. Food is ok . I would probably go with just a cheese pizza and all other options were not that good in my opinion. Kids are happy , that is all that matters . read more

I cant believe this place stays in business. The sampler came with over sauced junk "wings", fries that were simultaneously undercooked and burnt. The salad bar was out of at least half of the items the entire time even after we asked for it to be restocked. Its a place designed for toddlers yet somehow not family friendly. We are all miserable the entire time. Utterly terrible. Severely understaffed. The manager here needs to be fired. The employees are very obviously miserable. I replied okay I heard you and for someone who is paid to give customers and children a great experience she shouldn't be so quick to argue. Cheese in full costume clearly noticed how excited my son was to see him. They gave him a high five and took a few pictures. They also saw him again later and gave him another high five. It's been a hot minute since we've been to chuck e's. We made our return thanks to vaccinations! Yay! The place was busy! All of the games were working except for one which isn't bad at all. There are two options to play - points or time! We opted for 1 card and paid for time. Although the games don't give out as much tickets anymore we still managed to walk out with some good prizes. If you purchase the time option you can pause your card at various kiosks so kids can take a break or eat. We didn't touch the food so can't comment there. This is the first time I took my daughter to this chucky cheese. There's plenty of parking and the inside is pretty clean. We got there around 11:20 for a birthday party so wasn't as busy. The staff were friendly and assisted us as needed. The staff who helped our table was attentive, she refill our water pitcher & fruit punch. When she brought the cake, she even cut it for us afterwards. My daughter was able to play the games without even waiting since it wasn't that busy. We took our 5 year old grandson and went on a Monday right when they opened. Everything looked clean and all of the arcade games were working except maybe 1 or 2. They have a system that puts time and money on a card for the games. If you want to stop and eat, you can pause the time and just reactivate the card when you're ready to continue playing the games. And Instead of the floor of balls to bury yourself in like back in the day, they now have a netted in trampoline area that is monitored closely by staff. I think we paid 15 dollars for all day trampoline, but really can't remember the pricing but I know it was reasonable. Our grandson just loved it and quickly made friends in there. Chuck E. Cheese did come out for a few minutes and danced and took pics with the kids and that was cute. There's also a big screen showing Chuck E, Cheese and friends dancing as well as a big dance floor that lights up as you move around it. That was kind of cool. Now , if you're going for the food, it's ok for what it is. The pizza is similar to Dominoes and the salad bar is small and not much to it. But the kids there as well as our grandson loved the pizza, what kid doesn't, and they all seemed to enjoy the activities and that was what we were there for. Went to CEC on Sunrise Blvd., Citrus Heights a couple of days ago. There were only a few children there at the time so it wasnt busy. The garbage was overflowing and several tables were dirty. Also, it's gotten so expensive and not worth what you get. An all you can eat salad is $12.99. And the salad bar offer basic items. Hardly any fruit. They no longer have a sandwich on the menu but a variety platter that is not good. A couple chicken wings, french fries, some gross cheese bread and celery. Not going there again. I had to leave Chuck E. Cheese a great review after visiting today. I hadn't been to a Chuck E. Cheese since I was a kid. I wasn't sure what to expect. It was great! Very clean inside and employees were wiping surfaces often, lots of seating, overall a super fun way to spend an hour and a half with my kids! We bought a pizza and sodas and cards for games. The pizza was decent! My kids loved the games and they have something for all ages. My 4 year old liked the ride-type activities (little carousel, hot chocolate ride, etc) and my almost 6 year old liked the arcade type games. I loved ski ball as a kid and can say it's just as fun now :) The employee running the prize area was great and super patient with the kids. We'll be back for sure! read more

We celebrated my son's Birthday Lunch/party here today. Upon entering, we were immediately greeted by our host, Zoe. She immediately took us to our table and confirmed the finishing touches of our online order. She was fantastic from start to finish. The food tasted better than all of us adults remembered from the last time we went. Honestly everything was great and so convenient. I would have left 5 stars. She always checked on my daughter, checked on the party, she helped keep an eye on my daughter, she helped clean up my daughter when she got caked and I was busy! Honestly, my daughter had fun, and that's all that matters, but I ordered a salad bar and there was no frickin salad at the bar!!!! How does that happen? Nary a piece of lettuce or spinach was there and forget about some toppings. There were literally no bacon bits or sunflower seeds and I overheard a staff telling another customer that they didn't have any more in the back. hi-ya! it's a place for kids...it's not the cleanest, but again it's for kids and they seem to have a lot if fun here. the games are cheap--if you compare the same game to say, Dave and Busters. the food is...not good, but I've never gone there exclusively for food. However the kids seem to enjoy the pizza there. what's actually fun is the basketball games...i typically will see a lot of guys playing more so then the kids so win-win for dad's and their kids. periodically chuck-e-cheese will come out and hang out with the kids. which is neat assuming your kid is not freaked out by him. overall 3 because it's for fun, but if your an adult you really can end up leaving the place full of soda...because that's the only thing edible. read more
