Chukarama has been going down the tube for years. They have 1 option, chicken, more chicken, chicken with mushrooms, & more chicken. The management not only kicks out their customers for saying hello to their cashiers but go as far as trespassing them too. Absolutely disgusting behavior. read more

The food is a disaster. The employer doesn't know a good cook from a hole In the ground. Why? This place used to be good. What happened?

Most everything was great! But the chicken nuggets were completely raw in the centers. We told two servers and the cashier, but nobody seemed alarmed and nobody went to pull them off the serving line. No apologies were offered either. read more

If you like buffets, there is a lot of selection here. It's usually kind of crowded so other people like it here too. I wasn't impressed, everything was OK. Nothing was bad, but nothing was really great either. I'm assuming with the foods you can't flavor things with a lot of salt or spices because people complain. If you wanna feed a lot of people with different tastes, this is probably the place to go. on the plus side they did have a orange bang machine and icy machine. Dirty plates. I don't appreciate the way that they treat the customers with dirty plates. Ruined my apatite and my day

Visited during labor day weekend for dinner. They have the food area set up in the middle and groups of eating areas around it. So if you come in big groups, you could pick one of the rooms/areas and not have to worry about bothering other families. It feels nice and less crowded since the table seating areas are divided that way. Their Roast Beef is really good but I suggest getting that first because after whatever they have out are all distributed they won't bring out more (they have a staff there cutting the meat for you). There's a variety of fried dishes, soups (one or two kinds), salads, and a whole bunch of desserts! So many different cake options and ice cream too. If you like dessert, you would be satisfied. Their drink options were really good as well from icees to tea and Mexican hot chocolate. Kids would probably enjoy coming here due to the variety of fried food and desserts. All of the staff were friendly and kept busy by serving or cleaning the food area. So the food area was pretty clean the whole time. read more

Went here for dinner a couple days ago. The employees were friendly. The food was not so great. Not a very big selection of food to choose from. Everything was cold or very slightly warm at best. The flavor and taste of all the food was good but it was hard to enjoy it when it's not very warm. Most buffets aren't known for their food quality, but the trade off is you get a big selection of food that is ok but not great. At chuk a Rama you get almost no selection of food that is far below ok. Almost 15 dollars for lunch is a rip off for what is basically two types of chicken, some boring side dishes, and a few dried out deserts. If it were 8.50 for lunch I wouldn't feel so cheated but that was definitely not worth it. We love their salad bar and the many options they have there for the salad. Their meat at the dinner time is great along with the roast with vegetables. Definitely a favorite of ours. Their dessert selection is always fun and better than any other buffets we have been too. They try to keep it all clean and coming out of Covid was hard as it was for all restaurants. We went on a Saturday. The way the buffets are set up is very tight for a lot of people. Very unorganized. Food is ok. Not much to choose from compared to other chain buffets. We could taste an over abundance of salt in everything eaten. Our waitress was amazing though. Basic food. Very minimal. Very salty. We were taken to chick seams by family we were visiting. I didn't know what to expect but it was extremely busy. I have to say I was surprised. It was good. Very clean, items well stocked and kept that way. Friendly staff. A traditional all you can eat and it was expensive less than $20 a person and seniors get a discount. This buffet is always great! They serve 30 or more salads of all kinds, salad bar, daily food variety (seafood/fish today), and the always amazing pot roast with potatoes & carrots. A special night for my family, gathering many long-distant siblings together. Our server was a gentile girl, prompt with our drinks and removing empty plates. All went well until one of my brothers started to choke at the table, so he fled to the bathroom instead of be heimliched at the table. After he returned and we were all appeased that he could breathe properly again, an employee with poor English came to our tables and dismissed us. *We were thrown out because my brother almost died. He didn't want to have a scene in the public space of other patrons, nor die across the table, but apparently the restaurant would have preferred that than him expelling the blockage in the private space of a bathroom.* We explained that he was not ill with contagion and offered proof of his medical history that his throat constricts and he had had surgery last month because of it... They insisted that he had not been choking but was instead a walking viral danger to all, so we had to leave. Ludicrous reaction to a client's near-death in their establishment. Poor treatment to a group who paid nearly $200.00 + tip. Absurd employees who murmur about the clientele, cannot speak English properly, disregard the patrons. Eat here if you are fine with being thrown out like garbage, if ever you yourselves were to choke/have an allergic reaction/seize etc health condition flare up. read more

Took the kids here to celebrate my hubby's birthday. It was our first time at this particular buffet. We have been going to Golden corral, but we wanted to give this place a try. We came on a Sunday around 3 so it wasn't busy. I loaded up my plate with all things carb. Mac and cheese was just o.k. but the kids liked it. Fries were soggy, but they brought out fresh ones that were crisp. Let me tell you what I loved, the scones!! They are amazing! Put the honey butter on them, or the raspberry jam, it's a win-win either way. So good!! I also liked the turkey with stuffing, the turkey vegetable soup was nice and hot, needed more meat though. The drinks were good, lots of options. The desserts left something to be desired. The cake was dry, the icing too sweet, the chocolate pudding was good though. This place didn't hit it out of the park, but there were definitely some things here that will keep us coming back (scones). Some things Golden corral does better, some things Chuck-a-rama. So today took my family to chuck a Rama and while we were siting there my kid needed a refill and the server came up after grabbing another person's drink that was used might I ad and instead of taking my kids cup and refilling it at the drink station he put the other person's used drink in to my kids cup and said here you go and me and my wife were like wtf that's so dang nasty and so we will never ever EVER go there again cause that's so dang NASTY . read more

The food was fine, service was crap. We went as a big family group to celebrate a reunion, and we knew that we would need to wait for quite a while, as our group was really large. The waiter tasked with seating us was EXTREMELY RUDE. He tried to seat us when there was obviously not enough seating at the time, told a family that was already eating that they needed to hurry and leave, and was not kind at all. When I asked where the restroom was so I could change my baby's diaper, he rudely informed me that he didn't have time to tell me. It was literally around the corner.
