We had great steaks that were cooked exactly like we specified (well done.). It was tender, no pink, and not burnt either-so well done chef! Wished the menu was clearer because after we'd ordered and sat at our table, there was a thing on the table talking about country fried steak. We dine at the Sizzler on 17th in Idaho Falls Id quite often. The food is very good, the steak i ordered was cooked perfectly, the chicken was tender and moist. We only had 30 minutes and a large group for dinner. Got unlimited salad bar for everyone and they surprised us by offering a special - steak and a side for only $1 extra per person. Wow!! The food came fast and our server was beyond amazing. I think his name was Carson. He was so friendly and attentive. The manager even came out and greeted us and asked us how everything was and he was very friendly too. Definitely a five star experience. I would have given a much better tip if I had more cash. 5 stars I know your thinks really. But honestly in my opinion they deserve 5 stars. Their General manager Brad Hendrickson who has been there I believe since it opened decades ago just does a fantastic job! This is my go to favorite when we take my Mom out to dinner. So Friday and the place is full as always but somehow they seem to get you and your group in just fine. We had a group of 4 adults and 2 kids, the lil woman and I both ordered the signature Sizzler steak I had a baked potato and she had broccoli. Our steaks were heavenly especially for $12.99. Plus we both got the all you can eat salad bar, which is always one of the best salad bars in town no matter which season you go there. Our waiters name was Marshall and he was excellent! Went here for a late lunch Wednesday the 27th. We ordered two entrees with unlimited salad bars and one lime ricky soda. My husband's 12 oz New York strip was cooked perfectly medium and tender and juicy. My hibachi chicken was grilled to perfection and flavorful. Whoever they had working the grill knew their stuff! The salad bar has plenty of vegetarian options and low cal options for dieters. The salad bar was clean and inviting. The produce was fresh. The seafood salad and quinoa superfruit salad were addictive. The waitress was there to refill drinks promptly and very nice. We had a first class late lunch/early dinner for $49! I realize that sounds expensive for a lunch but it was really more of a dinner. The same kind of quality would have easily been anywhere from 75 to over a hundred at any of the other steakhouses. I like to start the story off I took my aunt there from Texas because I enjoy the chicken Malibu there but when I ordered the food all came separate I only had an hour for lunch and the cashier were you pay upfront got all the orders wrong and it took a very long time to get our food I went to talk to the manager about it his name was Colton he says could I see your receipt I showed him the receipt it was on the table then he says well sorry nothing I could do about it I don't understand if it was their mistake shouldn't they pay for it is Sizzlers and you are paying for food and service three of us at lunch cost $52 and change and that's what kind of service you get for your money I would recommend other steakhouses like Texas Roadhouse would definitely give you better service along with Outback Jakers but after that I will not eat Sizzler's again read more

I can't say enough good things about Sizzler, in Idaho Falls, I love their Malibu Chicken, and my husband likes their shrimp! Their baked potatoes are always cooked just right and their salad bar is the best around, tons of choices and always fresh fruit. We had a birthday party there, 17 of us on a Friday night and they were excellent in working to get us all seated together. I only gave a 1 star rating because there are no negative numbers. Both the wife and I had enough time to leave the restaurant and get on the road when we realized we needed to find a restroom NOW! The food was average tasting but we ate it because it was expensive. After we handled the issue stated above I went back and informed the cashier that I wished to speak with the manager. The cashier didn't appear to be surprised that I wanted to do that. The manager acted bored when I told him what had happened and simply stated that their cook tempertures were within the ranges required. The service is good but the last time we went there was a waiter by the name of Jeff who is honestly the best waiter I've ever had. I have always hesitated coming here because ...well...it's Sizzler. But after my grandmother had been a few times and said she enjoyed it, I decided to give it a try. Food was slow coming out, my mom's ribs hardly had any meat on them at all. BUT that being said; our server fixed everything quickly. When the second plate of ribs came out they looked a lot better than the first. My mom gave me a taste and they were very very good. I was in Sizzler last Thursday December 14th 2017. I was so appalled by the bathroom that I may never go back. When you can smell the backed up toilet clear out by the salad bar, there is an issue. I would NOT have used the bathroom if I didn't have an emergency. The smell was worse inside, gag maggots bad. I didn't sit down needless to say. Then I go to wash my hands and the faucet as well as the soap dispenser has what looks like chocolate pudding all over it, was it chocolate pudding? Who knows, but I was not about to touch it. Why this place only got 3 stars is beyond me?! I've been here several times love it?! Favorite place to eat has an amazing all you can eat salad bar. Everything I've ever ordered has been cooked perfectly and tasted great!! The only small thing some of the waitresses are more attentive than others and doesn't pay attention to wether some one wants more shrimp when it's all you can eat shrimp or refilling our water when needed it's those little things that matter. I'm giving this place mostly 5 stars on the taste and quality of food and environment and cleanliness. I would give it 4 stars because of the waitresses so more like 4.5 stars read more
