I'm a sucker for hotpot and Chubby Cattle is one of the most incredible dining experiences I've had. I've been to almost all the hotpot places in near duluth and this one is definitely my favorite. Since opening I've already been three times and will be making it my go to when eating out. The inside is super trendy and has an elegant but upbeat atmosphere. They have these led mists lining the middle of the restaurant which makes it look like theres small fires in the center. My friends and I were taking photos and they turned out so good with the fires in the background. Now, onto the star of the show: the hotpot itself. Oh my goodness where do I even begin? The selection of ingredients is insane. They have the freshest cuts of meat and bring out such a big seafood collection. I've personally never tried the abalone and tiger shrimp before but it was soooo good. There is a note on the menu that the meat only needs to cook for around 5s to enjoy that perfect medium taste. Broth was also amazing! I got the spicy miso and house broth and they were flavored so well that I didn't even need sauce to enjoy. They also offer snacks to order and cold dishes where you can grab at the bar. The tempura shrimp and sweet potato fries were fried to crispy perfection (lol ended up getting 3 plates of the fries). And my favorite cold dish was the takowasa, I'd get a small bowl of it and eat one piece with every meat I had. Not to mention service is 10/10. I've never seen a place where servers are so attentive. Everytime we were done with a plate it was instantly grabbed so they could clear room for everything else. Our server was also super knowledgable on the menu. On my first time here it was definitely a lot to take in since they have 4 sets to choose from but he explained it super well and we ended up doing the gold so we could try the A5 wagu's and it did not disappoint. The past times I've came they were still in their soft opening stage so I'll probably come when they open fully cause they'll have more drink options available and I'm dying to try alcohol they offer. read more

I was so shocked to the Japanese A5 wagyu, it literally melted in my mouth. We had Oscar as our server and I highly recommend him if you're visiting Chubby Cattle. He is energetic, detailed, and extremely friendly. I usually don't talk much to a server in a restaurant but I feel like he is one of my closest friend! Came here to eat with my friends and this place was amazing! We opted for the gold option. The A5 meats were so tender and juicy, our favorite was the A5 ribeye and A5 brisket. The specialty dishes were really good too! We shared them and the wagyu bone marrow and nigiri were top notch. All their drinks are unlimited which is a HUGE plus!!! The service was amazing as well! Our server Victoria was very sweet and knowledgeable. She recommended the raw egg with the sukiyaki soup and that was really good. The interior was really nice. They have the best selection of Wagyu available, and the service has been exceptionally great. We enjoy the awesome friendly staff here, including Oscar, his brother Bosco, Fangtang, Annie (to name a few) and some others... from the all you can eat Wagyu (levels start at like around $40 to $98) and the unlimited drinks included... it's a must go to for the meat lovers (and seafood too) in hot pot style. We got the Gold Set which gave us a taste of the Japanese A5 and boy when I say the A5 was amazing, it was absolutely fantastic! Jessie also recommended a dessert concoction with the Fried Mini Buns and the Hershey ice cream and it was oh so good! I highly recommend trying this place and getting a membership which is a year long membership (trust me is definitely worth it especially if you'll be going back)!
