Overpriced and not worth it... Friendly staff..... Way over seasoned... Won't do that again. I ordered the Blu filet. It was wrapped in bacon. The bacon was limp, gross and nothing but fat. That was the first thing off the plate. Pictures look great though

Came here for the first time with my wife and friends. We ordered the Delmonico Steak, Beef and Shrimp Chipotle Pasta, and the Bacon Wrapped Salmon. For appetizers, we ordered off their 25th year Anniversary special menu. We ordered the Mrs. Pham's Vietnamese Spring Rolls and the Smoked Duck and Applewood Quesadillas. They were all very delicious and flavorful. My steak which I ordered a medium, came out perfect. There were parts of the steak that were perfectly medium rare-ish, but weirdly dry and bland. I had to rely on the red wine butter sauce for flavor because I was too embarrassed to ask for some salt lol. Definitely will be back on special occasions because although delicious, it's still pretty pricey. Our waiter was very friendly and fast. There was a female staff who accidentally spilt (out of all dishes) a little bit of the fish sauce that came with the spring rolls, onto the floor and partially on my feet which made my toes kinda stinky and sticky so that was a bummer. Their ambiance is a bit dim, but beautiful and romantic. Lots of parking and overall great service.

White plate was tonight's special - Chilean sea bass. Blue plate redfish topped with crab meat

March of 24, 2023 Came in from Galveston to visit a friend that lives here. Our waitress was Karen who was friendly, knowledgeable, and hardworking. We started with wine, had some fresh bread... tomato/onion focaccia (too mushy-needed more baking) the white bread was good. The olive oil and pesto spread to dip the bread in was tasty. My friend got one of the specials: Chilean sea bass w/garlic mashed potatoes and I got the redfish topped with crab meat with lots of different veggies/potatoes on the side. Both dishes were excellent. We split the fresh almond crisp neopolitan of berries soaked in rum with white chocolate cream - YUM!

Incredible food, great service, and great bar! Our first time here and we were so pleased.

Started out with a Blackened Shrimp & Crawfish Fondue the perfect way to start off our dinner. Had a great taste and was light but flavorful. Also grabbed a Blueberry Mocktail which helped set the palette for the meals to come. Overall, these two items were the reason for not having 0 stars. Our dinner party had the Lobster Pasta, Field Salad, and Bacon wrapped Salmon. The pasta was not well seasoned and was lacking sauce, and the lobster was okay. The bacon wrapped salmon was quite dry and had no depth. The field salad had more of an apple cider vinaigrette base. Overall, this is a steakhouse so I recommend going for steak or meats. For dessert, the bread pudding was fantastic and had a balance of elements. The ambience and service were great, for a birthday dinner or even a date night.

Naomi was a fabulous informative waitress-the ambiance was remarkable like you stepped back in time ( turn on the fireplace would have helped as it was a cold night in Texas)! The food was way over priced for the quality. We got Waygu and it came in 4 thin slices -2 ounces was complete fat no meat! My husband got Filet which was average. The dessert was great.

Christopher's House Filet

Absolutely delicious!!! My only complaint was that the steak was a bit cold/not warm enough when serving. But otherwise I loved everything about this place.

Even with their system down our server was prompt, always thinking ahead and kept checking in. Much respect for great service these days. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals and we look forward to our visit again this weekend for my Mom's 80th!! Look, this is a college town when it's all said and done and you wouldn't know it in their establishment. The pace is slowed down from the college hustle and bustle, which is a nice change of pace and their vibe is just laid back, relaxed and elegant. This is my Mom's favorite restaurant and she's a tough one too.

I guess I was expecting rustic. The whole crew was friendly and attentive. The server had our drinks and menus out in a snap and was attentive throughout. While there are many options, Fish is clearly the star of this show. The blackened fish sounded good, but I do really like creole. So, I got the Atchafalaya, which was blackened fish topped with Creole! It really hit THE spot. My wife had the fried shrimp which she really enjoyed as well. Everything was perfect! If you are looking for something above average with great prices, you can't beat Fish Daddy's! Ambiance-5 Service-5 Food-5 Price-5 I really liked this place!

The fries also had similar spicy seasoning. The food was very tasted though and decent portion. Boil-N-Pot: There is so much flavor in this dish. It is pretty spicy as the food soaks up the spices. OMG seafood was one of them and because I like seafood I decided to check it out. It took me to YELP and I looked at the reviews. Reviews had good ones but the last few were bad so I was a little scared but I said let's go try it. When I got to the place only one car. I was scared at this point. One of the bad reviews said they were dirty and not clean. However the place had very large windows so I could see in from the car and the place was clean so I went in. I received great service! Told the lady I never been here before and she made some suggestions. The one person inside said get the gumbo. As I looked over the menu at the counter I could see they had a drive threw and it was busy so I was a little more happy. I ordered the boiled combo shrimp, crab and sausage. They lady asked me did I hear you right that you have never been here before. I said yes that is correct. She said I will give you a sample of the gumbo. Wow the gumbo was outstanding and I will come back tomorrow for lunch and get that. As for the boil combo I loved that as well. I'm so glad I did not listen to the other reviews because this place was great. I wish I had something like this where I live. I will have to enjoy it for two days before I leave. The problem is the food here is so friggin delicious that I haven't learned my lesson and I will be back. I had the fried catfish and shrimp platter which is what I always get. It's so good y'all it's worth getting sick to be honest. Or maybe I'm just a fatty but they honestly have the best fried fish in Brazos Valley. Sometimes I have a fried fish itch and this is the only place that scratches it. Do try it, I hope I didn't scare anyone off, it's worth the try.
