So as she saw this team of dogs taking off, she decided she wanted to go with them. She bashed her concrete head right into the screen, at first it looked like there wasn't any damage but eventually a very annoying and very permanent mark formed on the screen. So it's an opportunity to upgrade, and this time mount it onto a wall. I heard about Video only over the radio so I decided to check it out. This place is amazing. I'll never go to a big box store again. I came into there not knowing anything. I have two TVs at home one a 720p and our big one with the dog mark, a 40" 1080p. Resolution wise I can't really tell the difference. So I'm really not what you'd call a videofile. Calvin was very helpful in getting me up to speed on the new tech and I was ready to buy something when my wife called and talked some sense into me. Otherwise I would have gone for it because the prices here make other places look like scams.

Tahir charged me $100.00 for diagnostics and to give him a solid week and he would get back to me. I called him 2 weeks later and it was like he didn't even remember me or my equipment, and that he was in the hospital and to send him a picture of my receipt, which I did. A month later I called him to see what was going on and he told me that my amplifier was fixed and working plus he thought he could fix the other one with a minor solder fix and said to call next week to set up a pick up. I told him that getting one fixed was awesome but getting the other one fixed wasn't a priority, and if he could fix the second one only if it was at a discount if possible. So I told him that I would call to set up a pickup and that was the last time I have ever talked to him. I have tried to call and sent him texts with the receipt and nothing. My original receipt is from 8-22-25 and today's date is 2-22-26 so you can see the lapse in time that went by and he has never not once tried to contact me. I really wonder how this guy stays in business since he is burning all his customers. Please take your equipment somewhere else and deal with less headaches and storytelling. Since that time I have moved locations and feel that for $100.00 I will just give my honest interactions with this "so called" repair shop and cut my losses.     I received a gift from this Brookstone, it was ordered from there online store, however, the person…read morewho gave it to me was told that if there was any problem with the item the Corte Madera store would take it back with no questions and issue a refund. I went into the Corte Madera store and the "Assistant Manager Josh" looked at me like I was speaking a foreign tongue. He did not know the store policy and told I had to send it back to Brookstone. I explained that I was told I could bring it back to the store, but he just glared at me. Finally another "Assistant Manager" stepped in and called Brookstone customer service. He confirmed they could take the return. However, he need to get an ok from customer service and have the original credit card in the store to credit it back, even though the item was unused in the original packaging with the receipt. This store is filled with crap from China, the sales people are untrained and rude, and I will never shop there again!!!! Brookstone will go the way of Sharper Image and soon become a soap store. Don't waste your money buying more landfill.
