Not that I am "not" always trying to see if someone offers a better Path, option on how to go about the Project or Price! I was a little bummed in that I kept explicitly explaining they will need to BORE thru SIP panels. I am a neat freak, so Yea, I want the work to be done smooth and clean and not hacking away at foam. Which later they were telling me about that Feat as if I hadn't explained that point over and over and saying you might need a special tool. They admitted they didn't understand the point in tellinng them I had SIPs where they were going through. Supposedly they have sealed that up properly. I would trust so, but I don't think I can verify it exactly. Anyway, the HVAC people were happy. But now I need to patch drywall holes and repair Stucco in a finished house.

In addition to getting a new solar ready 200 amp panel, we also had an add on garage brought up to code with new conduit and outlets for workbench, lighting, and dedicated car charger circuits in both the garage and the front driveway. Also new circuits to 3 rooms for running individual AC units. They probably could have charged more because some add on work was done that was not written down in the original quote but it obviously needed doing so they just did it. My wife and I were both impressed with the craftsmanship and the teamwork of the crew, and how everyone listened to each other regardless of age or experience level, to brainstorm and implement the best solution for the situation. This is the kind of job you have done once, so you want to be happy with who you choose. I highly recommend Marin sf.

Kudos to Len, William, Brian, Gabe - these boys are no nonsense, yet easy going, and get the job done right.

We hired Ed Electric to install a 240-volt outlet in our laundry room, and what looked like a…read moreheadache of a job turned into a masterclass in skilled, creative electrical work. The challenge: the line had to penetrate a shear wall into the garage -- already packed with HVAC, gas lines, and existing electrical -- and then find its way to the laundry room in the center of the house. We fully expected to be patching sheetrock on at least one wall when it was all over. Ed Electric surprised us completely. Not only did they identify a far simpler and smarter route into the house that we never would have thought of, but they ran the line in a way that is completely hidden yet fully accessible -- and not a single piece of sheetrock was touched. The finished result looks clean and professional, as if it had always been there. Their quote was fair, and they showed up to start the work the very next day. No waiting around, no runaround. What truly made the experience stand out was the owner taking time after the job to have a genuine conversation with me about how someone I know might pursue a career as a licensed electrician, and the state of the profession in the Bay Area. That kind of generosity -- going beyond the job to be helpful as a person -- is something you don't forget. Ed Electric is exactly the kind of local contractor San Rafael is lucky to have. Highly, highly recommended.

It is supposed to turn the lights on and off when it senses you walk in and out. The universe had other plans. It tuned on and off when the wind blew, when I sneezed, when the dog barked. It didn't turn on when I went into the dark bathroom at night. It liked to turn off when I was in the shower ...at night. I couldn't stand it anymore. I was afraid it would be expensive. I faced that fear because I just couldn't take it. I used a yelps handy dandy helper for someone to come. Someone licensed and professional. Out of the replies this one stood out so I scheduled the same day appointment. Within 30 minutes my switches were replaced. I was happy and the fee was so reasonable. My only regret was not doing this sooner! Omar was the electrician who came into my home, wore a mask (I am immunocompromised), and did the work neatly, efficiently, and professionally. If you need an electrician, this one is the one I am so glad I chose. Bookmark it especially if you own your home because you know, you'll eventually need this. Fiver for perfection. Thanks Omar!

Henry's Quality Electric when my solar inverter needed replacement. Even though they didn't perform that work themselves, they referred me to one of their installers and, in the process, saved me money by bypassing the markup they could have charged. That level of honesty is pretty rare. They could easily have kept the work in-house or added a layer of profit, but instead they focused on what was best for me as the customer. They also followed up several times by email to make sure everything was going smoothly and that I was happy with the outcome. Great customer service and a company that clearly values long-term relationships over short-term profit. Highly recommended.

They gave us a sliding scale depending on labor for specific jobs. When they invoiced us, they included receipts for parts... this is something that we rarely see but it creates a sense of trust and honesty. There are no surprises. Our first job was a lesser, more simple, job-we had at few sockets replaced one of which was a very loose socket that we were concerned about arcing. The second job was more extensive as there were several "needs" in one day. They replaced overhead light fixtures (3 of them), replaced an old and VERY outdated (probably from when our house was built over 35 years ago!) smoke/fire alarm, and installed bedside wall mounted lights. They are GORGEOUS!! On their third visit soon, we will have heated flooring in our master bedroom installed. B. Henry's Quality Electric is the place to go for your electrical needs. The team is nothing but helpful, and professional. They are community oriented and are always there to help when you have an electrical need. It's nice to have an Electrician that you can trust especially when it gets to be overwhelming not knowing what needs to be fixed.
