Several days later, tracking showed UPS still hadn't received my order. Emailed customer service for an update. No response except a generic auto-reply. Several days later I tried to call the store and was told they don't handle online-shopping customer service; email is the only contact method. Two weeks after placing my order, since UPS still hadn't received my item, I emailed to cancel my order and get a refund. Still no response. Ultimately, I contacted my credit card to dispute the charge and, miraculously, within a couple hours Milk Street finally got back to let me know my order was canceled. I will never do business with Milk Street again.

She prints of recipes, shopping guides, and includes links to her YouTube videos on the recipes, she even included a bonus recipe for us just because she thinks it's delicious. We get Thai takeout, and I was excited about learning the specifics of a good pad Thai and fresh summer rolls. The pad Thai recipe was simply not tasty. I brought most of it home and my husband didn't complain, but really, it wasn't great. May be because they use no nuts, which is great for most families. But also, it didn't have any bean sprouts in it, it just wasn't good at all. We also made chicken satay that I have already made again, and that was pretty good. However, I learned how to use rice sheets and make summer rolls which was wonderful. I made different ones when I went home but they were a huge hit. Huge. Lots of fun to hear about them and how to most easily handle them. To me, it was like when I originally heard how to handle puff pastry, or phyllo sheets or make my own sushi. Well, we not only had a great time learning a new cuisine, but we made some new friends in the process. The studio is in a private home, so the setting is very intimate and private. So, if you have never touched a cooking utensil before, you are definitely in good hands here. If you have, then this becomes an art in learning new and exciting foods and the history behind them. After the food is prepared, we all sit down to dine together and engage in conversation over the meal in which we all took part in preparing. Such fun! Be aware that the studio is BYOB, but the studio does provide wine glasses and soft drinks. We had such a great time that we are hoping to do this again soon.
