We love Christine's tacos!! So delicious, and great service. We are never disappointed when we eat here. The chicken fajitas are also our favorite. read more

After eating here a few times and experiencing what I have I will never return back to this restaurant! I actually enjoyed the food but costumer service was AWFUL. Christine's daughter served us the first time and was the rudest server I have ever had and I can see why with how Christine treats her costumers (in the restaurant and on this thread) truly disgusting behavior after reading her responses to the bad reviews so I can't imagine what kind of reply I will get! The last time there witnessed her treat her staff like garbage as well! Probably why there is new waitresses every time I've been there! I'm surprised they are still in business with this nasty behavior from an OWNER!! read more

I love this place! The food is delicious, there is a warm family atmosphere and prices are very reasonable. Christine is one hard working lady too. She has a pleasant attitude a beautiful smile. read more

Best strawberry margarita I've ever had! I'm on a special diet, and I appreciate all the food options! Service was very good, at lunch, when we were there! Really like the booths...great place to meet with the "girls." read more

Well it was me mom and my sister's first time in Cincinnati and we had no idea where to eat so I got here on Yelp! I was searching and found this place and read the reviews and saw how the owner personal comments on almost all the reviews. So I knew that this owner is invested in her business. It was a thirty minute drive from where we were staying but we went! It was late around 8:40 but we weren't the only people going in. We started with the mozzarella sticks which looked and tasted homemade and they were fantastic the cheese stretched for more than a foot. My mother got the house salad with their bacon vinaigrette which she said was amazing. I got the swordfish steak with shrimp and then green beans and French fries as my side for only 13.95!!!!! It came with 10 shrimp cooked perfectly and the swordfish was super moist but still crisp on the outside. I'm not a big vegetable person but the green beans were great and so were the fries. My sister got the Salmon burger she isn't big on seafood usually but she loved it along with the waffle fries. My mom got the meatloaf and she is extremely picky about her meatloaf and she loved it she got that along with the mashed potatoes which she said were just like her mom used to make! To finish it all off we had the molten lava chocolate cake which was super moist and came with a healthy portion of ice cream! The service was amazing and everything came out quickly and was very fresh. In the end I think I would drive all the way from NC just to have it again it was so great!!! read more

Christine's Casual Dining you can write and say what you want. except several customers saw how you acted and mentioned it on my way out. I didn't want anything except for you to take a charge off the bill , for something I didn't order. You approach my table acting as if you were making sure we were not lying.... I stated I would never return long before you mentioned it. You did nothing to keep cool you were rude. I hope you learn to be honest and take a review instead of always trying to make a situation different than it was. What I clearly stated was "a real manager" would take something off not try act like that over a chocolate milk. I wanted nothing from you except to hold the waitress accountable for her mistake. read more

We went to Christine's on a recommendation from a friend. It was a total let down. Service was terrible, the food was sub-par. Ex: pork chop was dry, hard and tasteless, one of the side dishes was "canned" green beans and the kid's burgers were just OK. Who serves canned anything any more? I think it would have been better if we would have ordered their Asian food, but I will never know since I'm not going back. read more

This place has a huge menu with lots of variety. Everything I've had so far has been good.

This is my favorite westside eatery. Great menu selection, something for everybody, but not overwhelming. The Filipino food is fantastic, but I love the burrito! read more

It's funny, I wouldn't have tried this place if it wasn't for Yelp. It's an old renovated Pizza Hut that doesn't look so hot from the outside. Well, don't judge a book by its cover....... This place was very nice in the inside and packed with people. The service was excellent and the food was good. Prices were VERY reasonable and they had a full bar. Definitely going back before or after the next movie night. read more

I've never had anything here that wasn't good. Everything is great!! GREEN BEANS. Get the green beans! The egg rolls, taco salad, Christine's salad, chef salad, mozz sticks, mashed potatoes, French fries, the burrito, beef tacos, chili, chicken club, and I forget what else. My husband likes the wings. I always send ppl here that ask for restaurants on the west side and no one has been disappointed. Also we've always had great service. Which is really important IMO. read more

Fabulous place with amazing food! Christine greeted us and I was impressed with the selection and service. So glad we tried this place!

I love this place. The new location is beautiful. Christine is so sweet. She takes pride in her restaurant and demands quality. The food has a wide range of everyday staples along with some eclectic dishes. You can never go wrong with the egg rolls for an appetizer. Her salads are fantastic. Try the steak burger, it is the best I think I have ever eaten. read more

Love Christines! This girl works her tail off as she is always there! Some of my favorites are the pot roast, meatloaf, spaghetti & meatballs! Taco Tuesday is a must. Service has always been exceptional! Keep up the great work Christine!! read more

Food was great. Love the authentic food. One of the most diverse menus I have seen. Something for everyone.

I ate here with my gf about 4 months ago. The food was good and the waiting staff were really nice and friendly. I've been planning on revisiting sometime soon for dinner.. I'll update this after we do. read more

Great food and an owner who cares After reading some of the lower rating reviews for Christine's, I felt compelled to add one of my own. I've only eaten at Christine's a handful of times, but I've always gotten good service and great food. I know every experience is different, so I'm going to share my worst experience. My wife suggested we DoorDash Christine's for dinner (the egg rolls are fantastic), and when it arrived, I noticed that my pork skewers weren't included. It was charged on the receipt, so I called Christine's and the waitress promptly got the manager (Christine). She reviewed the order, apologized profusely, then had a DoorDash driver deliver my missing item with complimentary cheesecake desserts. She even called and messaged my wife's phone via the DoorDash app to make sure everything arrived okay. Having been in the food and service business myself at one point, I know how frustrating and often unreasonable customer requests can be. She quickly owned and addressed the issue, and did so in an endearing manner. I really like to support local businesses, and will continue to be a patron here. My advice to anyone who goes here and has a less than stellar experience: give your feedback to Christine. You can tell from speaking with her that she genuinely cares about improving her restaurant in any way that she can. As an aside regarding the reviews that were a little negative about Christine's being a converted Pizza Hut building, this creates a sense of nostalgia for me because I miss dine-in Pizza Huts (fond childhood memories), so if anything, this is a plus for me. :-) read more

The best variety if you're dining or ordering carryout for a picky group... there's something for everyone!

Delicious. Her coconut soup hit the spot. Can't wait to go back and try some of her other signature dishes. Perfect spot for the West side...and bonus, she does take out. read more

It's hard to beat Christine's for take-out. Always ready quickly, great temperature, delicious, and order is correct.

I'd give this 5 stars and probably should, but I want to be realistic. The staff is by far amazing. Very friendly. The egg rolls are super! Taco Tuesday can't be any better. You won't find that taco anywhere else that's better, and for $1.00! Don't miss out on them! The burrito supreme is good. But stay within their specialties, which is Philippine. I wouldn't go here and order a Steak. read more

I've tried it again and I'm still impressed with the quality of service and food presented by this family oriented restaurant. Ms. Cebu is such a sweet lady, I would love to pack her up and take her home with us. So very happy to have made a new friend even if she doesn't have any Tuba. Lol read more

I will start by saying the wait to place our order after being seated (8-10 minutes) almost made us leave. We hung in because clearly there were only a couple waitresses trying to run all the tables during Sunday brunch time. Forty minutes after that our food came out. Absolutely delicious. My chicken burrito was tasty and had tons of flavor. My son loved the crisp bacon and eggs. His hash browns weren't great but it was the only downside to the food. He's going to order Filipino food next time since it's their specialty. I hope they work out their staffing and timing before we come back. read more

We went last night with some friends and ordered the Ribeye. For $20 dollars for a 12 ounce I expected it to be decent. By far, it was the worst steak I have ever eaten. The quality of the meat was horrible. It looked and tasted like it was bought on the discount section at The super market. Clearly they had cooked seafood and didn't even bother to clean the grill or griddle before tossing the steak. It tasted like it was steamed with tilapia or shrimp juice. I couldn't even finish half of the steak. The rest of the food there was mediocre. I have only had two extremely bad experiences dining out and this was one of them. read more

I came here on a Friday night with my son. The place always seems packed, so I had been wanting to try it. Wait staff was friendly, and helpful. I had a chicken sandwich, and my son had the wings. The wings were good. The chicken sandwich however was not. To call it a chicken sandwich would imply that there would be chicken on it, and while I guess the truth was spoken, the tomato was larger than the piece of chicken I was served. It was about 1/8" thick, and about half the size of a dollar bill. The remaining 50 percent of vacant space under the roll was taken up by lettuce and tomato. We won't be back. read more

I visited with my daughter and husband for an early Saturday. We had the chicken club and the chicken quesadilla. The chicken was cooked well and the accompanying French fries were good. Service was acceptable. The concerns we had were related to COVID. We do not go out frequently, but this is the first restaurant we have been to post COVID where the salt and pepper shakers remain on the table (sticky) and tables are still very close with that did not allow for any social distancing. A group was seated at a table whose chairs were less than a foot behind ours. This made us feel less than comfortable. I hope when the restaurant moves to its new location that they do a much better job observing appropriate social distancing and steps for appropriate cleaning, especially between customers. read more

I've just had my first meal from Christine's and can't wait to order again. Really good comfort food

Severs are always friendly, there is a great selection to choose from, and all the food I've had tasted great!

Love this little spot! Cheese curds are always delightful, the chicken curry soup is amazing , the service is always prompt and friendly - and it's always packed. It's nice to know you can still get great service when a place is busy! read more

Excellent food. The combo number 1 in the Philippine section was amazing! Thanks Christine's!

Friendly, efficient service. Uniquely wonderful flavors and nice variety in the menu. Last time we went my husband and I had pot roast and it was delicious! This time I had the Philippine special #2 with soup, bbq, and rice - I loved it! My husband had the chimichanga which had more peppers than he prefers, he expected all meat, but he still liked it and I enjoyed the left over peppers. We were also happy to learn about the weekly specials and happy hour. We will definitely go back and also recommend it to friends and family. read more

We went for lunch last week since we had not been there in awhile. Both of us ordered one of the lunch meals. The Filipino soup is always good! However I ordered the BLT and my husband ordered the hamburger. Underwhelming is not accurate enough for either sandwich. If there were 3 burnt thin pieces of bacon on my BLT that's exaggerated! The hamburger was a tasteless frozen hamburger. I expected more/better food for lunch as some of the dinner meals are very good. Chaulk this up to another place to not patronize at lunch. It would not take much for an improvement! Let hope they get the message. read more

Food was solid, definitely would recommend the egg rolls! We had great service as well. Overall Christine's is worth checking out and a nice alternative to all of the chain restaurants that dominate the west side landscape. read more

I cannot speak highly enough about this local Westside restaurant! Is not only the food SO GOOD and unique, but the customer service is unprecedented! My family and I, a party of 10 (with 2 little kids), went last night and Christine herself was right there and engaged with our table intermittently throughout our meal. She offered to give my boys an ice cream sundae after dinner just because she wanted to, not because we asked for it. My son dropped his candy (from the candy machine) and she came running out with a quarter so he could get more. If you're looking to support small businesses, especially with the pandemic, please please go to Christines! read more
