It's been 7 years since my extended tummy tuck surgery and I cannot say how life changing this…read moresurgery was! I can also not express how quality of a job Dr York Yates did! My scar is now completely INVISIBLE! My tummy now, after losing another 50 lbs, is flat, like flat flat! And I'm considering going back for additional surgeries. I recommend his services any time I hear anyone mentioning they're interested in cosmetic surgery. I traveled from California after much research to get my first surgery and I'm so glad I did. Even if you're not local, I still recommend Dr York Yates. There are some inexpensive hotels locally where you can stay and recover. Trust me, he is the absolute best and you will not regret your decision!

2/5 stars -- Honest Review: Small Implant + Lift…read more I had a breast lift with a small implant (under 300cc) and spent over $12,000 hoping for a refreshed, natural result. I'm 45, have had kids, and had lost volume over the years. I wasn't looking for huge--just perky and full again. What I got instead was... underwhelming. Yes, the nipples are higher and my chest looks better without a bra, but under clothes? It's almost like nothing changed. I still look and feel deflated in the upper pole. I still struggle with bras because my shape wasn't corrected enough for the implant to "carry" the rest. And the worst part? The doctor made it seem like I'd have this youthful, round look--but didn't prepare me at all for what happens when you put a small implant under soft, naturally sag-prone tissue. I don't necessarily regret the lift--it helped--but for the price, I expected more than subtle swelling that disappeared after a few months. If you're thinking of doing a lift with a small implant, ask: * Will it correct the upper pole volume, or will your natural tissue still droop? * Will you be dependent on specific bras just to get the look you paid for? * Are they showing you realistic before/afters for your body type--not just tight-skinned 30-year-olds? Bottom line: If you're hoping for a noticeable difference in shape and fullness, a small implant might not cut it. Don't let a price tag or a confident sales pitch talk you out of asking hard questions.

Bitner Facial Plastic Surgery - After my nose job. It's now botched

Hi , I am a 56 year old female. My Story is probably your…read morestory! I went to Dr. Bitner to try Botox. I was very nervous just because I hate needles and really have anxiety about Doctors Offices. But I was sad every time I looked in the mirror because my face doesn't match how I feel. The first time I went I noticed someone in the waiting room all bandaged up and I thought to myself "I will NEVER do that!" Well needless to say, Never say Never! About 1 year later, I casually asked Dr. Bitner about a facelift. He really took some time to suggest I make an appointment for a consulation, which I did. The consultation was about 2 weeks later and I used those 2 weeks to do some research. Everything I found online was pretty much what Dr. Bitner and his team told me. Dr. Bitner suggested I have a facelift, browlift, Blepharoplasty under eyes) and Lip Augmentation. I decided to do it! It was an exciting experience if you can believe surgery is exciting. The most surprising was that the pain was minimal. I have had more pain at the dentist office. In fact, I believe the only pain was the first day the rest of the time is was just a little uncomfortable. It's been 4 months now and the swelling is gone, no pain, just a little tingling sometimes and a bit of numbness on the top of my head. All of which was consistent with everything I was told by Dr. Bitner, Jamie, and Brandi. One of the best parts of my venture was the way the staff treated me. Dr. Bitner is so easy to talk to and takes his time in explaining whatever questions you might have for him. He is honest; he won't do anything if you don't need it. I told him I want my upper eyes done too but he said I won't need it because I was having a brow lift. He is not just out to make money. He genuinely cares for his patients. His staff is the same way. Jaime is awesome. On a side note, I believe she might have saved my life because each time I went for Botox she warned me that my blood pressure was high and I needed to get it checked. I did and it is now under control because of Jaime. The entire team was wonderful during my surgery, Robin and Emily and of course Glenn the anesthesiologist. And each time I go I am greeted by Debbie who is the friendliest most upbeat receptionist I have ever come in contact. If you are thinking about getting a procedure done but are being held back because of being afraid, I urge you to take the plunge. If I would have known I would have done it years ago!!

I am 5 weeks out of my second rhinoplasty revision and I'm very pleased with my results. I was a…read morecomplicated case. My first rhinoplasty at age 18 left me with very little cartilage and a very unnatural, scooped bridge and over- rotated tip. I had a revision 10 years later with a second surgeon who tried to correct the mistake by using cadaver cartilage and gore-tex to bring structure back to my nose. I was very unhappy with that second surgery right away, it was too long and crooked and over time, the tip continued to shrink and twist and it was definitely an operated look. Finally, 10 years later I find Dr. Bitner. To say I was hesitant about considering yet another surgery is an understatement. After meeting with Dr. Bitner, I felt very confident in his ability to deliver the results I'd wanted all along. I am now 5 weeks out from my revision and for the first time in my life, I really feel that my nose fits my face. I'm incredibly happy with the results so far and more so as I watch the swelling dissipate. The nose you see now required grafting from my rib as well as my ear cartilage as I had no support and my nose essentially had to be rebuilt. Dr. Bitner has been very responsive, both before and after my surgery, and I've been impressed by his expertise, attention to detail and kindness. After such horrible experiences with my first two surgeries, I can't believe how great my results are now. I really didn't think my nose would ever look natural or "normal" again, and thanks to Dr. Bitner, it finally does.

I have been feeling middle-aged and frumpy (droopy really, everything has started to sag in a sad…read moreway) for a while now. About six weeks ago I brought it up to my husband and he was surprisingly open to having me see someone to fix what was really bugging me about my body. I wouldn't say he pushed me but I felt I was walking into my consult not ready. I honestly thought Dr. Allen Freestone would say to me, "come back when you've lost 50lbs." Far from it. He listened to my concerns and showed me results I could expect. He did recommend liposuction before the mini tummy-tuck I had requested, just so that I would get best results. (Which I was grateful for.) I am three days post surgery from my mini-tummy tuck; my abs and abdomen are completely flat. The incision is clean and perfect. Dr. Freestone was the perfectionist you want. Both me and my husband couldn't be more pleased. Because I am still healing and it only gets better from here, I can't wait for more time out. This was my first experience with Wade Laser Clinic and everyone I made contact with were kind and professional. Dori and Ellie the prep-nurse/surgical nurse? (Sorry, this is where the drugs started to kick in) were amazing. Calmed my nerves, friendly, and knowledgeable- everything I needed. I would do it all over in a heartbeat!!!

I…read moresaved every dime I could for almost an entire year to have enough to get laser hair removal on my entire body. I was so excited, and I trusted this place because it was connected to my longtime family dr's practice. When I initially went in they said I was a good candidate and after I paid things were good to go. It was extremely painful and after my first session I had large red dashes all over my entire body where the laser had burnt me. The lady assured me this was normal, and since I have a naturally darker skin tone the lasers will pick up on that and burn my skin a little. After going back for a few sessions and asking around I found out this was not normal, and I stopped going in for treatments. Keep in mind I was a naive 19 year old at the time. So I just figured I was out the money. Fast forward a couple of years later, I had a really really bad bout of cystic acne, and out of desperation I returned to this practice to see if their laser treatment could help me, since I still had a remaining balance that I had paid in cash, and I saw one of their advertisements at my Drs office. Rather than actually do a consultation and help me, they did the laser treatment to use up the remaining balance that I had, and assured me it would help. It did not. It made it 10x worse, and left me with severe acne scarring that I have had to work hard to correct over the past couple of years. Luckily, I have not been back. When I finally got up the courage to call and tell them about my experience, they were dismissive and brushed me off. Such a waste of money and time. They were very nice when I was giving them my money but I just wish they would have had my best interests in mind. I felt taken advantage of and tricked.

We mostly saw APRN Lindsey Martinez who is kind and seemed to be a good listener, but after a nurse in training who was shadowing Miss Martinez said something about moms prescription being too large of a dose, APRN Martinez had to stop, go over moms medication notes and indeed admitted "oh yes, that is a mistake" then adjusted the prescription. It was not very reassuring and to be honest I am thankful for that shadowing nurse. Whoever she was she was a godsend because after that visit I began taking notes of our interactions. Researching mom's meds, so I could be informed. On one visit I questioned why mom was on Metformin and Metoprolol when she only has high blood pressure not high blood sugar and if we could eventually wean mom off of all 4 of them when she gets her blood pressure under control. I was told some BS about mom needing to be on all of them. I can call it BS because the new doctor I found closer to our new home questioned why mom was on those exact blood sugar medications and said he would like to take her off them on our first visit with him. He kept her on the two blood pressure meds and I am tracking her progress for our next visit. There was also a lot of confusion with scheduling. When mom had been in last and what she had been in for. I had to tell them what she had done on the last visit from my notes. They would give my mom cortisone shots for her bad knee whenever mom would ask for it. Mind you mom has early signs of short term memory loss, so she wouldn't remember when her last visit was. Only that her knee was in pain and that the shot helped. Once they gave her 2 injections in one month. That was the last straw because from what I researched you should not have another cortisone shot for at least 3 months from your last cortisone injection. It can cause more damage than good. Our new doctor confirmed that those injections should only be given 3 times a year. 4 at the most. Do your due diligence and find someone you connect with and listens to you. You have to advocate for yourself and your loved one's. I'm glad I finally found a doctor I believe genuinely cares about helping people and listens to their needs.
