I received a package from his office with information about the procedure, his staff, and his credentials. His office provides First Class Service! I met with Tara, who is AMAZING, and Dr. Saltz and they made me feel very comfortable with the procedure and spend as much time as I needed with them. They answered all my questions and I left feeling confident in my decision to proceed with the procedure. Dr. Saltz and Tara recommended a few things to myself that I never thought of nor considered and were helpful in helping me achieve the results I wanted. Tracee got me all scheduled and again made me feel comfortable in my decision. The staff at the hospital was incredible as well! They made everything very comfortable and again answered all my questions before we started. They explained how the morning was going to go so I was aware of what to expect. After my surgery, Dr. Saltz made a personal call to my boyfriend to see how I was doing. He called at 10:00 p.m.!! That shows he truly cares! My surgery was smooth with no complications. The first two did not "wow" me. I was starting to worry that the third consultation would be the same and began wondering if I should even go through with this elective surgery. Dr. Reuben was my third consult and I knew immediately he was the surgeon for me. Having worked 30+ years in health care these things stood out: 1) Dr. Reuben walked in the room, extended his hand, and introduced himself as Brian (not Dr. Reuben); 2) The interaction between him and his staff/clinicians showed complete respect for one another; and 3) Dr. Reuben answered all my many questions, was personable, and never appeared in a rush to get to the next patient. In making my breast augmentation decisions, the following were my main concerns: 1) I am 5'1", 100 pounds so I didn't want to appear top heavy. I wanted implants that fit my body and weren't clearly out of proportion to it. His results were spot-on; 2) I get sick from anesthesia. Although I have informed anesthesiologists about this in the past it never fails: I am sick post-surgery. When I learned that Dr. Reuben uses a Nurse Anesthetist, I was a bit worried about not having an anesthesiologist handle the sedation. However, his Nurse Anesthetist spent more time with me than any anesthesiologist I have ever had. And...I did not get sick! and 3) the decision whether to go under the muscle or over the muscle weighed on me due to returning to work. I ended-up going under the muscle and literally breezed through the surgery, with excellent results. My surgery was Wednesday, and I was back to work Monday with no complications. Dr. Reuben called me the night of my surgery to check on how I was doing and provided his contact information if I had any concerns, etc. The entire experience with Dr. Reuben's office was beyond my expectations.

After waiting that long, I finally went to the front desk to ask how much longer I would have to wait. The receptionist went to check and then came back and told me that the technician had left at 4:00 PM. I was extremely frustrated and disappointed. If the technician had already left, I don't understand why I was allowed to sit there for 50 minutes without anyone informing me that my appointment could not be completed. My time was completely wasted, and I expected much better communication and professionalism from a medical facility. If an appointment cannot be honored, patients should be notified immediately rather than left waiting without an explanation. I hope Foothill Family Clinic addresses this issue so other patients don't have the same experience.
