I had breast implants at the young age of 19 and had never had any issues but as I aged, the saline implants began to pucker and the implant was visible. This is primary reason I had been researching surgeons in the Salt Lake area for my breast re-augmentation with more natural implants. I also decided while researching that I wanted to have some Liposuction done on my thighs and buttocks due to years of stubborn fat that was resistant to my spending hours at the gym. I initially read the reviews of three surgeons online while making my choice. The very minute I went to the particular websites, I got my first impression. First, the Envision website was most pleasing to the eye, second it offered more before and after photos online than any other clinic, third in order to view the before and after photos the viewer was required to enter and verify their age so as to protect underage viewing. The fourth feature that really sealed the deal was the ability to e-mail Dr Dunkley my personal photos for a consultation/price estimate since I live in Casper, WY, which is 6 hours away.
Dr Dunkley responded to my interest and continued to consult with me for several days answering all of my questions and being honest about whether or not he felt the requested procedures were necessary for me. At one point, I sent more photos because he was unable to see "fat to go after" with liposuction in the areas I wanted worked on. After having photos that he felt correctly depicted the need for both procedures and giving me a price estimate, he wrote that I could call and schedule my surgery anytime I was ready. I was thrilled and called the next morning at which time the staff was incredibly pleasant and helpful and scheduled me for the dates I needed.
When I came to the Envision clinic and met Dr Dunkley for the first time, I was awestruck at his incredible compassion, gentleness and honesty. I asked about a few more procedures that I had thought of to see what he thought and to my delight he thought they were all good ideas. I had him add some fat from the lipo to my lips to plumps them up, some to various areas of my face to get rid of lines and lack of tone in my skin on my face. He added some to the forehead getting rid of my "scowl" and placed some filler in the tiny lines on my top lip making the creases completely invisible.
It has been two weeks today since my surgery and I look in the mirror everyday and exclaim how beautiful my skin, face, buttocks and thighs look. My breasts are now made of silicone and placed under the muscle making them look absolutely natural.
All was great with my breasts until 5 days after my surgery when I suddenly had tenderness and pressure in my right breast, heat from the breast by touch and a fever. I contacted Dr. Dunkley immediately by calling his answering service and his personal cell phone. He immediately started me on two antibiotics and told me I needed to return to his office that day or night if possible. By Sunday evening I was more and more ill and had no one to drive me to Salt Lake so unable to sleep Sunday night I left at 5:00am Monday morning and drove only stopping for gas straight to his office. Of course I knew surgery was coming so no food or drink for the entire trip. When I got there, I was in tears and he took me into his arms and his terrific staff all prepped me for surgery. It turns out I'm the one person in 10,000 that had an issue with an infected implant. I was treated with the compassion and tenderness but every single person at Envision. Dr. Ben did not allow me to head back to Casper until he was 100% certain I was healthy enough to do so.
Now as I registered on this website to write this review, I see the photo of Dr. Dunkley with his incredible bedside manner showing through just glowing in the photo and I have tears of gratitude for him and his entire staff. Even his beautiful wife who was so caring and nurturing to her husband. Words cannot explain how deeply grateful I am that I chose Envision Cosmetic Surgery for my lifetime cosmetic surgical needs. As far as I am concerned there is no surgeon on earth with more skill and compassion for his patients than Dr. Benjamin Dunkley.
