He said the fillers are hyaluronic acid and dissolvable. Imaging would later reveal illegal silicone in my midcheeks. If you were injected with filler by Steven P. Jepson, M.D. prior to 2020, and have been unable to remove the substances, you can have an ultrasound or MRI of your face to identify what was injected into you. Based on his sketchy behavior after his injections, I am suspicious of what exactly he injected into me. During approximately 13 separate sessions, high dosages of chemical were injected into my cheeks trying to remove Steven Jepson's fillers from my midcheeks. Multiple doctors were unable to chemically break down the fillers Steven P. Jepson injected into my cheeks.   This permanent silicone was injected into me against my will and knowledge. Facial silicone is illegal. The liquid silicone injected into my cheeks was done illegally. I was unaware I had permanent silicone. How did that get into my cheeks? Because I was told by Steven Jepson that he injected hyaluronic-acid filler into me, and because the fillers were NOT breaking down, that allowed excess chemical to be injected into me trying to break down the fillers. The natural structure of my entire face was destroyed by the excess chemical, during repeated chemical-injections sessions. The excess chemical spread through my body and I experienced severe bodily harm. I was never informed by Steven Jepson that any harm was possible trying to remove his fillers. Not knowing silicone is located in my cheeks, I contacted Steven Jepson via email. I informed him of the unsuccessful attempts to remove the fillers he injected. He mailed a refund check to me for the fillers. But when I asked to speak with him over the phone, he refused. And when I emailed him questions regarding chemically trying to break down his fillers, he was evasive, and wouldn't answer my questions. This made me more suspicious of what exactly he injected into me. I then requested and received the medical records from him. After receiving the medical records, he sent an email to me stating that he would no longer speak with me, and that if I have any questions, I can speak with his insurance company. Insurance companies provide lawyers to represent doctors in legal cases. This raised serious concerns of what exactly Steven Jepson injected into me. I was in need of medical care and Steven Jepson would not see me or speak with me. A doctor who cares about a patient would say: These are my fillers I injected into you, come see me at my office, and let me help you. Steven Jepson did the opposite. He did not care about my health and safety. Subsequently, I reviewed the medical records from Steven Jepson, the product labeling for the fillers appeared suspicious. Two documented fillers have labels with duplicate identification numbers. Each individual filler is supposed to have its own unique identification number on the manufacturer's label. Yet, the label for one filler that he injected during one appointment has the exact identification number as the label for a second filler that was injected almost three weeks later. I paid Steven Jepson for individual fillers at separate appointments. The filler labels in Steven Jepson's medical records were sent to a dermatologist. The dermatologist sent the labels to their executive contact at the manufacturer. The dermatologist then replied that the labels are fake. After receiving my medical records, I spoke with his receptionist who told me that Steven Jepson was in the process of changing medical-record systems. Soon after I told him that I was concerned for his other patients, he sold his business and retired. When I take all these inconsistencies, it raises serious concerns of what exactly Steven Jepson was injecting into me. I've spent approximately $200,000 on procedures to chemically remove the substances, and subsequent surgeries to address permanent harm from trying to chemically remove his fillers. Steven P. Jepson is an Internal Medicine doctor who opened a med spa for profit. He used the word "Dermatologic" in the naming of his company. This allowed his name to appear in my online search for a dermatologist. I thought I was receiving filler injections from a board-certified dermatologist. I did not know he is an Internal Medicine doctor. When I asked him to chemically break down his filler, he was going to charge me hundreds of dollars. I told him that he was going against industry standard of a doctor removing their own filler at no cost. Steven Jepson then complained to me about the cost to remove the fillers. This told me that Steven Jepson puts profit over patient. It's good that Steven Jepson retired. But that does not take away from the severe harm he caused me.

I really don't enjoy or feel good about leaving bad reviews, but this is by far the worst experience I have ever had with a business, and if it helps somebody then I guess it's worth it. I was on my way to the airport to help my sister. whose husband was having emergency surgery to take out his esophagus because of cancer. I had an extra hour and I found myself in the Foothill area, I stopped in to see if they could do a little bit of Botox on my forehead, a small area that needed a touchup. When I was there, she started to ask me if I had done any fillers or surgeries.. I told her I had done Filler one time prior. She asked me about my lips, I told her it looks great on some people, but I didn't feel comfortable or interested in big lips. I felt guilty for only getting a few units of Botox (under $100) it was clear she was putting on the pressure to sell me on something. I asked her about filler for my earlobes, I told her $599 was a lot. I didn't know if it was worth it. She said it would fill my earlobes and I would have extra, so I asked what we could do with the Extra. I didn't know if it was worth spending that much just on my ears. She said let's get going and we'll discuss it. I was surprised to see the doctor come in the room, I was wondering why she didn't have a full-time injector.... And I felt really guilty for only getting a few units of Botox, which is why I agreed to purchase one syringe for my earlobes. She kept stopping to take pictures and I knew she was doing this for her Instagram, which was a little annoying, we did not discuss that, and I was in a rush. I'm sitting in the chair, my eyes are shut, I truly hate needles and wiping away tears. Just trying to get through this because it's painful. She stops and says "do you want to put this under your eyes? it will make you look 10 years younger" - I'm a little taken back, we didn't discuss this, my eyes are perfectly fine , they are not sunken in and again this is not something we discussed, but I thought she was looking for a place to put the extra filler. I said "sure" I just trusted her. So I check out, they put a receipt in an envelope and put it in a gift bag and then she proceeds to randomly select things off the shelf, little samples and throw them in the gift bag. I got in the car and headed for the airport. I looked in the bag to see if there's anything I wanted to take with me, there were all these little items that said "not for resale". I thought, "oh that's nice". I then opened the envelope and she had rung my credit card over $4000! I was in shock. I agreed to one syringe at $599 and approximately 10 units of Botox $100. She told me the one syringe would fill my earlobes, and there would be extra, the whole thing that was unclear was where we were going to put the "extra filler". As you can see, she overfilled my earlobes, using more product than I agreed to, and then she proceeded to inject a new expensive product under my eyes that we did NOT discuss. I could not believe what had just happened. I found the pictures online, some of the pictures are ones She took halfway through the process. (when she should've stopped.) as you can see the photo from the airplane, my earlobes were bursting and looked horrible. Look at the pictures that she posted online, that's when she should've stopped. She never discussed additional Filler, I was very hesitant to even buy one syringe. On top of it, she charged me $72 for the product samples she handed me?! Clearly, she had a plan, she brought in additional product without discussing it, not a name, not a price, side effects I mean, just think about it?! And then she overfilled my earlobes so she could justify charging me for an additional syringe that I didn't know about? And then in her post, she has the audacity to make up some story about me being a PhD researcher who makes jewelry on the side.? This woman is so dishonest. I have pictures of what it did to the area under my eye, which was awful, I will post them. There are plenty of people who are honest, please take the time to find someone you can trust.

Went for their free consultation. Don't believe their ads, not even the simplest of corrective surgeries will be offered for $500. They have extremely predatory pricing (much higher than local competition, deceptive marketing, and artificially inflated prices with false discounts such as a "booking fee," as if you could get a surgery without booking it first.) They also have predatory financing, with horrible rates and terms, and tried to run my credit without my consent, and without explaining any of the terms or conditions of the financing, or even telling me they were going going to run it. When someone asks for your social security number, never give it to them without asking why they need it first. Crooks like this will always take advantage of you if you do. Even after repeatedly stating that I would not be spending the $4,000+ they wanted from me, they tried to keep me there and pressure me into it. They kept trying to explain that somehow paying them $200+ a month was cheaper than buying glasses. Because somehow I buy new $200+ frames every month??? They also did not explain beforehand that they would be dilating my pupils, and what that would entail. I finally got out of there at around noon, on a very sunny day, and they tried to convince me that it was safe to drive, despite the fact that even being outside with my eyes open felt like staring directly into the sun, and the effect didn't wear off for a couple more hours. Luckily I had decided not to go alone at the last second, so my wife was able to drive. Definitely shop around before you get Lasik. There are much better prices and services out there. Getting youy procedure done here would be like getting something from a store at the mall, where they charge you double and lie about what you get, versus going to a family owned business and getting lifelong, honest service at a fair price.

We scheduled here because they are right by our house, and they accept our new insurance plan (Cottonwood location) We booked an appt. a couple weeks out for our daughter who is an adult with autism, and confirmed via text message & phone reminders 3x. (That part you guys have dialed in). When I scheduled, I specifically mentioned that to the person taking the appt. & and let her know me or my husband would be coming to the appt. with her. Appointment day comes, my husband goes to the appt. & the offices are closed, we thought maybe they were just closed for lunch, nope, it turns out they scheduled us at their Redwood location. When I called to inquire about it, I got someone named Nancy, and oh gosh; this woman has the MOST crusty demeanor, attitude, and absolutely would not acknowledge they maybe made a mistake, zero accountability & zero effs given to provide customer service & help me resolve it. I actually spoke to the Dr. - although he offered to make it right, and rescheduled us for the next day at Cottonwood, we just did not feel we wanted to risk it. Also; our other daughter went to the Cottonwood location a few weeks prior; the experience wasn't great, poor front desk & patient satisfaction overall. To the dentist that owns this place: my advice - re-train your staff & raise your expectations of how they treat your patients. You're in a PRIME location in Cottonwood Heights, but we chose to drive to West Jordan for care, due to this poor interaction. I know you guys can do better!!! Being "understaffed" is a BS reason/excuse and does not sit well with us, especially coming in as BRAND NEW 1st time patients. Going to the dentist gives a lot of people anxiety, and this entire experience did nothing to assuage that for us.
