The office is decorated in a modern black and white scheme. The massage room was quiet and comfortable. Teri went over my history with me and explained the process. While a lymphatic drainage massage isn't anything like a regular massage I was able to relax. Overall it was a great experience and I plan to continue with a follow up massage as recommended.

I was just given the surgery and sent home. A week later I had bad left flank pain and fever. I went to the ER and I have a UTI and kidney stones. Did you know 30% of people that get surgery on or around the abdomen have a higher chance of getting kidney stones because higher levels of oxalate being released!? Well I didn't! I needed some relief but not a regular massage. I found the lymphatic care center website and I visited Teri. Not only did I feel some instant relief I also could fill my circulatory system starting to kick into gear. She also gave me a compression foam and I got a belly ban. Which has been making things easier at home. I will be going in for my second treatment and I'm excited to. The results from the first were life changing. Conclusion I urge anyone that gets any kind of surgery to visit the lymphatic care center it is worth it!

Instead, she went through 3 unsuccessful surgeries in a row at Selarom involving repeat incision openings and tissue failure. For each redo attempt, we were charged more money and there was minimal healing time between those redos. The incisions did not look right to us. Throughout this ordeal, we took hundreds of photos of what we believed showed the breast progressively developing signs of severe infection and tissue failure despite following all post op protocols. Ultimately, we had to seek emergency help, and large portions of breast tissue had to be cut away causing severe deformity for life. During the second incision failure at Selarom, I had my phone camera out when I witnessed her implant being removed with bare ungloved hands. We were then sent home with the incision left unstitched, and in the recording, we were told she can't get an infection. Then, another implant was put in the following day. We were later told by other doctors that they often recommend leaving it out at least 3 months to a year. Over the next 4 weeks, her breast swelled with over 600cc of bloody fluid. The incision was constantly leaking and her skin developed what appeared to be fibrosis. As her breast looked like it was about to burst, and feeling like Selarom wasn't prepared to respond to complications, we desperately went to one of their competitors, who stayed open after hours to help us. They drained the fluid using a liposuction device and removed the implant, costing us thousands more. My wife then spent the next 3 months one breasted, while the pocket was finally allowed to heal properly. During the three incision failures at Selarom, I witnessed my wife being blamed by Mr. Schmelzer and his staff. We were told the incision problems were because she didn't do a breast lift, didn't use mesh, or that the implants were too large. As soon as we got help from the other surgeon, who we consider to be a renowned specialist, none of those things were an issue. She kept the same implant size, did not need mesh or a lift, and the other surgeon's incision stayed closed on the first try. The permanent visual reminder of the disfigurement in our marriage makes us feel like her body was treated like a practice doll at Selarom. With Selarom, we wish we would have done more research beforehand, including publicly available court records on utcourts.gov and reviewing professional history, employment background, and patient reviews from prior practices like Plastic Surgery Associates, or Banner Pediatrics. After everything we experienced, we believe Selarom is one of the least reliable options in Utah for cosmetic surgery.

What I really appreciate about Dr. Powers is she is really friendly and incredibly knowledgeable, so it was easy for me to trust her and feel safe in her care. Throughout my visits with her she has always made me feel so comfortable and not pressured or rushed. I have done both botox and lip filler injections with her and did not bruise with either! Nor felt any pain during any of the procedures. My visits with her have been so therapeutic and reassuring because she takes the time to walk me through each step of the process and asks how I'm doing throughout. What I also think is amazing about her is hearing her observations and sharing her input in what would give me optimal results. The best example was when she handed me the mirror to look at how my lips looked after the injection, and she ever so kindly pointed out some areas where she felt that could use a little more filler in - AND I AM SO GLAD I listened to her because I LOVE HOW MY LIPS LOOK! We had a nice chat about what the surgery would entail, and the pros and cons. I didn't fill rushed, and he answered my questions in depth. The nurse came back in with two price options. I could go home and think about it, or I could book surgery now, since he is booked several months out. There is a $500 deposit to book a date. I decided to think about scheduling a date right now since this is an elective surgery, and it needs to be paid in full before any surgery will be performed.

Let me start by saying that I have never been to a chiropractor before so I didn't know what to…read moreexpect. I made an appointment here after being highly recommended this practice in particular by my midwife to try and get aligned/make sure I was aligned to try and get labor to begin, or in the least to help things go smoothly once labor did begin. I've been told Dr Gunn does have plenty of experience with pregnant people and i was grateful for that. It was easy to call and schedule an appointment, they do have some weird hours on Wednesday I believe, but they are open some evenings so it was nice to have that option. The office was fairly easy to find and get to, it's located in a strip mall type building. The office was clean when I arrived. I had some paperwork to do and paid the fee for 1 alignment which was only $35. (It is definitely more cost effective to do a bundle deal if you plan to be back several times, I wasn't sure if I would be back as this was my first experience with a chiropractor ever). The alignment went well as far as I know haha, there were some limitations as I was 39 weeks pregnant at the time, but Dr Gunn was accommodating to that. It sounded like he prefers to see pregnant people a few times during their pregnancy for best results, but he definitely did what he could. I did some stretching and he used the massage gun on me as well. The room felt like there was enough space, but small enough to feel private. He was very professional and because it was my first time at a chiropractor, I really appreciated him explaining exactly what he was going to do and how it would help/why he was doing it. If I ever need chiropractic care again, I would not hesitate to return!
